Re: What would you do if it became reversible like paypal?

I would ditch bitcoin if this happened but thankfully it wont. To do this would be to fundamentally change the protocol and the purpose of bitcoin. Remember cash transactions aren't reversible either but bank transactions and paypal are which are systems built on top of it.

Show off your recent significant purchases

From hamburgers to vehicles.

Does a burger count as a significant purchase?

Why does the bitcoin price seem to follow the stock market?
When the internation stock marker fell from the prblems with china's economy, why did it have such an affect on the bitcoin to force ti to fall by £50 (around $80)

It didn't. Have you ever heard of such things as coincidences? The value falling is probably due to the fork confusion.

Hi, is this still running?I'm new in this campaign and I checked my uid on bitmixer site but it says error, signature not found
Please help

I can confirm that it says "not found" and "not active" for your account.  That does seem a little strange.  The only think I can guess is that it might be related to your feedback/trust.  I have removed default trust from my trust list so I see your trust rating as 0.  But I noticed that you do have quite a few negative feedbacks.  I don't know if some of those feedbacks are on default trust and bitmixer.io has finally implemented a trust filter for default trust or if they've got some other algorithm which disqualifies people with too many negatives.  Note that this is speculation.  I'm merely confirming that it seems like although you have the signature in place at the time of this writing the signature page does indeed say "not active" and "signature not found".

Good luck!

I see , I guess I'm disqualified then , I'll just move to another sig campaign
Thanks for the response.

You have neutral trust so that shouldn't be a problem. Just try put the signature in again and try re-sign up. Maybe contact bitmixer to find out what the problem is of it still doesn't work.

Re: why you shouldn't trade Bitcoin

If everyone was a speculator and no one actually used Bitcoin for commerce, I don't think that would be good

On the contrary, if everyone or almost everyone held their coins the value of bitcoin would skyrocket seeing as they were so rare. I think the best practice is to buy bitcoins back every time you spend them and choose to use bitcoin over over payment methods when available. Thus you get to hoard your stash but still help promote bitcoins usage as a currency too.

Hi

Thanks for reaching out. The Pax gets great reviews (For original units at least - There are a lot of knock-offs out there) from end users / on the forums etc. but I can't truthfully answer your question as I've never had one to play with.

I use the Da Vinci original as well as the Ascent regularly and they are both solid vapes. You have a little more control with the Ascent and it features an all glass pathway which some users prefer. The Da Vinci V2 for the money though is rock solid and it does dry herbs and oils etc with the included Oil Cans. They have come down in cost at wholesale since Da Vinci launched the Ascent so I am offering them @ £99.95 / 0.56BTC now when they used to be £149.95 / 0.85BTC. For that price point they are one of the best digital options out there IMO.

With regard to the Pax they are now being made available to EU / UK through selected distributors. I expect to have stock in a couple of weeks or hopefully by August at the latest.

Let me know if you need anything else. I'm always happy to talk vapes.

Thanks for your answers. What's the difference between the Da Vinci 2 and the Ascent? If you could do a review of the Ploom when you get it that would be great. I really don't want to buy a vape and it not be what I wanted as it would just be a waste of money. The Pax or the Da Vinci are definitely the two I'm looking at the most but am open to suggestions. As long as they're fairly compact and actual vape and not burn that's all I really require.

Wasn't it immigration that destroyed America in the first place?

No, America still exists.

Yes, it exists as some sort of delusional corporate-run state full of ignorant bigots who think they now get to moan at immigrants like they know what they're talking about. Lets not forget America is a nation of immigrants with its indigenous people almost annihilated to the point of genocide, by, you guessed it, white people.

Quote
Seems like your just blaming everything Americans do on immigrants.

No, everything immigrants do is blamed on Americans.  Whenever an immigrant commits a crime, the news pretends that he was just a normal American.  Then everyone asks what is wrong with our culture.  Well, he's not from our culture, so there's your first clue.

Is it? Sounds like you've got quite the victim complex here. Why does it matter what culture someone is from when they commit a crime? White person shoots up a school he's just crazy, someone who looks vaguely middle-eastern does it - OMG TERRORISM IS THEIR CULTURE THIS IS WHY WE CANT HAVE IMMIGRANTS1! etc

Quote
White person fucks a child? Mexican's fault!

Why are you obsessed with skin color?  Please keep your racism out of this conversation.

I'm not, but you seem to be. Why are you obsessed with nationality and Mexicans (which you seem to have quite the disdain for) and blaming everything on them?

Quote
Slavery? Indians fault!

That's true, in cases of Indians owning slaves.  Since you brought up skin color, I'll point out that white people ended slavery, and other groups are trying to bring it from their parts of the world to America.

Haha isn't that nice of white people. That's like invading someones country, setting their house on fire then putting it out and saying "at least I extinguished the flames". I suspect you have quite a white-washed view on history.

Quote
I'm guessing the number of 'child sex slaves' in America is low

That's right.  You're guessing, while I'm talking about facts.

You're really not dealing in facts at all and you certainly haven't presented any as I don't see any sources, but you'll most certainly be selective with the ones you pick and distort them to suit your cause.

You're not only wrong, you're pathetic.

That's both funny, cute and hypocritical  Tongue.

Dadice will kill each week a lot of bad posters so in future each week posters will be available i guess.

They're kicking poor posters off? Good idea but I don't think they should be allowed on the campaigns in the first place. I think campaign managers should be more strict and it then might make users make better posts.

My payment from bitmixer was some 40 + hours in getting confirmed (confirmation time approximate).  But, it DID get confirmed.

I wonder...:

If we (all?) asked bitmixer nicely, and offered to take the small financial hit (miner's fee), if they would change their payments to include a BTC 0.0001 fee (or whatever) to ensure that we get our payments in a reasonable amount of time?

Are they sending with no fee at the moment?  That would be pretty surprising from a company which basically does btc transactions at volume for a business.  I wonder if your long confirmation times have to do with the mempool backup from all these stress tests?

https://blockchain.info/tx/4f8252370d0fd30bf175cd60dca5a2ad6ddc37342429bc7e336cd1c784416e2f

That's his latest payment from them. They pay a fee but they should probably group transaction daily and then send them out as one mass payment. Would save on fees especially when some people only make one or two posts a week.

there are no more spots in both DaDice campaigns: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1078943.msg11832243#msg11832243

DaDacice slots close and open regularly though. For those campaigns that slots open up every 2-3 days or so they should just be left as 'open' or changed to 'rolling' signups or something so people know to keep checking or keep an eye on them.

I like that Calvin Harris song, but not sure how it applies to quickseller?

Interesting. I don't want to point out any fingers at certain members, but there are people who are spending much more time here than Quickseller is.
It sometimes takes a few hours before he replies to your PM's. This was a bit funny though.

Anyways, why are you calling him out ?

Check his feedback and last few posts and that's probably why  Grin.

In a couple of weeks I will also have the latest Pax model 2.0 from the first batch into Europe. They should retail around £175 / $280

Is the Pax generally considered the best one? And does it vape 100%? How does it compare to the Da Vinci V2 Model and which would you say is best?

Are you familiar with the CRATER portable vaporizer? from mycrater.co.uk It seems to be a Ploom copy but was wondering if you've heard anything about it. Are Plooms coming to the UK widespread soon since you're getting some or are these a special shipment you arranged?

Don't think there's anything wrong with dressing modestly.

Is there anything wrong with dressing immodestly? I think people should be able to dress how they want whether that's covered from head to toe or their privates barely covered.

Immigration is being used to destroy Western civilization.

In Mexico, the age of sexual consent is 12.  In Mexican culture, it is acceptable to have sex with 12-year-olds.

When Mexicans come to the U.S., they bring their culture.  It used to be unusual for 12-year-olds to get pregnant, but now it isn't that unusual.  Our culture now has lots of pregnant 12-year-olds, because our culture is becoming their culture.

Slavery has been gone from our culture for 150 years, but immigrants are bringing it back.  Child sex slaves from India and the Middle East are now part of the United States.  They bring their slave culture and make it part of our culture.

We need to secure the Mexican border, and we need to restrict immigration to people who can benefit our country.  But as of now, the majority of immigrants are getting free government money as soon as they get here.

Wasn't it immigration that destroyed America in the first place? Seems like your just blaming everything Americans do on immigrants. White person fucks a child? Mexican's fault! Slavery? Indians fault! I'm guessing the number of 'child sex slaves' in America is low and probably has little to do with foreigners as well, especially when Americans do it.

They say it is an non-profit organization, is it true then how come they are able to run this huge Open Bazaar.

Well I think the idea is that the users host the content or run the client in a similar fashion to how torrents work or bitcoin might work. It's definitely an interesting concept but I'm not entirely sure how it will work 100% but I'm very interested to see it in action and give it a test.
