We convert it because most of the countries are still not adopting the bitcoin as a payment. There is no use if we can't even use it right? We invest in bitcoin and get profit for us to use it. Mostly, people would convert them to USD and then use it for their personal finances. Also, only part of our investment is what we convert. Almost 50% of them are kept for holding which will get us more profit.

The list could go on and on for as long as more people are supporting and getting on board the bitcoin bandwagon. The more merchants that start to accept bitcoin, the more opportunities are created for everyone to earn bitcoin. There will be a chain reaction of sorts once bitcoin makes it to the mainstream consciousness of the common man.

In my country the results will probably be the same. Many people have never heard of bitcoin and don't know how valuable it is and what they can do with it but they all have heard about dollaras althoug it's not the payment currency in my country and they appreciate it. Maybe we here on forum have the feeling that everybody knows about bitcoin but that it isn't so in real life and bitcoin is still limited to relatively small number of people. This have to be changed but it takes time.

Everyone certainly would to want it, but I think it needs enough capital to reach it / get it and it's not easy. But for someone who does have a good lucky / good fate, more skills, more learning, seems it can be to be a Bitcoin's milionaire without capital. They definitely doing step by step from the bottom to the more high goal.

Bitcoin is quietly making name in the internet today. Most of the advertisement I see on facebook shows bitcoins and because of its value most of the people become interested to invest or to earn bitcoin.  And I think those advertisement helps a lot for the growth of bitcoin.

Bitcoin has always been excellent because bitcon cash is just hype until the price goes up. Have you seen the hype is over and bitcoin cash is falling again. So no one loses in bitcoin because it has proven to be a lot and this has worked out well for us. Do not worry about it anymore because now we invest now will also generate millions of dollars over the years like adopters in early 2010.

Bitcoin generates income for many.  I am pretty sure that government has a vision already of how bitcoin will be a big part of the future and it is the duty of government to generate also taxes from any income generating activity. At present, bitcoin is considered as an asset and tax are collected only from buying and selling. Actually, our government collects double taxes which I really opposed,   they make their people pay a lot and suffer.

The truth is, it's impossible to time the market. That goes for any investment. If anyone here could even see a little bit into the future, we would all be millionaires. That said, I believe that bitcoin has a long way to go before it reaches its peak. It is still not mainstream and I think it won't peak until it's a household name.

If bitcoin will be centralized, the idea of inventing bitcoin will be a waste because bitcoin was discovered or I might say invented for the concept of decentralized. There will be a middleman which is the government that will put their presence by adding transaction fee instead of having the exact amount of the product and/or services you want to avail... The idea of bitcoin is to have the trading by peer-to-peer and there will be no other to act as middleman.

The future of bitcoin is better than these days. It will be the greatest cryptocurrency in the world. And it become a popular in whole world.

Your bitcoin can be hack by your negligent like giving your private key to someone instead of your wallet address.

Paypal slow respone from their support and bitcoin is slow confirmation from the miners but my opinion more comfort use bitcoin than paypal because bitcoin is not needs verification is like paypal who waste my time.

Don't think of selling it yet. Bitcoin have a long way to go, its value will increase even more. If you sell it now, you might regret it in the future. You can convert maybe a little amount and treat yourself, dont stress yourself too much about it. Investment is meant for long term so you can gain the biggest possible.

In the long run Ethereum could give good profits. As it's the second best cryptocurrency, after Bitcoin, it should be okay to invest in Ethereum. But looking for higher return, then Bitcoin  is the best choice. Although the price will drop, because of the futures that CME is planning to launch.

I think complete anonymity might bring us some problems. I support what Monero is doing and i'm all for a minimalist government, but what would happen if everyone held their income and revenue in privacy coins and no one paid taxes? We'd have no roads, hospitals, etc... I think its a complex subject and requires a lot of research and study to see the best approach in practice between anonymity and transparency.

I just buying and holding for long term in bitcoin because i don't have much time for maintenance, upgrade  of hardware miner and choose the pool or alternative coins to be mined, but if have much time mining and buying the bitcoin are best choice to be done because we will get passive income from mining bitcoin and rising the values of bitcoin because of holding bitcoin for long time, so everything depending on the time our have to bitcoin mining or buying bitcoin.

I think bitcoin has not been introduced all over the globe .western countries have accepted bitcoins and there are quite a few bitcoin atms out here .but if u compare it with developing countries like india , here people have not heard about bitcoins at all and even if some people have heard , they are mostly college students. There are not many companies for bitcoins also , so popularity and usage is a long way to go.

Hacker is never active. If you are caught by a hacker, the error is yours for not being extra careful by clicking on a malicious link or by visiting a website that may result in getting personal info. Although the action has been done by hackers, they will not get any info. if you are being extra careful on the internet.

Honestly, this thread gives me back to mood and make me smile hehehe, although because i have more than 0.01 BTC and thinking what if this thread say's true? In the next few incoming years bitcoin will become $1m per BTC? How does is it? Then all bitcoiners right now technically would become millionaire if they still doing bitcoin before bitcoin become $1m hehehe
