Oh, well, spes ultima dea... (the hope is the last goddess....)

I texted the bounty manager what his impression on Omnity is. I just received this reply:

"Bounty Manager:
Originally we were amazed by their product and project. They were very professional with us and we were confident they would be successful. They managed to raise funds privately, but have put the public sale on hold for now due to market conditions, and aim to build out the project and product more while getting ready for token sale in 2019. We will have more information from them shortly.

We would wish that all of our projects could proceed very fast, but with the 2018 bear market, most companies are choosing to take their time, and Omnity is doing exactly that."

Interesting point, but in any case the situation now is too confused to make any decent prediction.

Jus bought in alt coins. Mostly dapp coins. I have a bunch of them. And a little less in Bitcoin. At this point I can handle the losses of alts. Hopefully it doesnt go 160% losses.
Here's a few to list
Neo. Ada. Xlm. Bch. Eth. Skycoin. Strat. Lisk waves, nuls, gxchain, Komodo , etc, qtum, Tron , Eos . Ox, ontology, pivx , zilliqa, and metaverse etp.
Year 2019 will be another bear market? Hopefully not.

Well, may be you are right. Actually, it seems to me just gambling.

Re: ETH ready to bounce back?
by

Ethereum suffers because of the general conditions of the market, but it is a very good project, perhaps better than bitcoin and certainly with much more possibilities of expansion.
When some practical and legal (and political) aspects have been clarified, ETH has every chance of a new expansion.

Re: is EVERY ico a scam??

What an exaggeration!
It is clear that there are many scams, and many ico have failed due to the inability of the management, but there are still many valid projects, so it is sufficient to search and evaluate the proposals carefully, and certainly there is something good.

Surely, it's not a good time.
But it is not for anyone, and perhaps this period of downward stagnation is more worrying than the volatility we are used to.
But there are too many interests at stake to be able to let ethereum die, so I bet on a coming shot.

In general, in any field, the greater the chance of gain, the greater the risk of losing everything.
The crypto market can produce a lot of money, but a mistake is enough to lose everything.
So, EVERYONE must be careful, not just beginners

Re: Crypto is your full time job?

Working full time on the crypto would lead anyone to madness very quickly, so it seems to me absolutely inadvisable to do so.
So, much better discipline, decide a certain amount of time to be allocated to trading, to the forum, to information, and to respect it.

Re: Is bounty profitable?
by
Brunusmagnus
on 31/10/2018, 17:40:00 UTC
In the past, the bounties were certainly very profitable: they did not last long and paid a lot.
Now, they do the opposite, they last for months and months, they pay little and maybe they do not pay anything.
In addition, there is a general suffering of the altcoin industry.
We'll see what happens.

Re: Build a Bank Of Bitcoin
by
Brunusmagnus
on 17/10/2018, 21:43:25 UTC
There is always someone who occasionally goes out with this story.
A bitocoin bank does not make sense, because the blockchain is already a bank, so it is not clear what should be deposited.
I hope banks will disappear forever.

Re: What would happen to banks?
by
Brunusmagnus
on 17/10/2018, 21:39:10 UTC
If the bitcoin in its original form became the official world currency, theoretically the banks would no longer have reason to exist.
In practice, they will hardly cede their power, and simply will invent a series of services to continue to cheat and rob customers ...

Re: Sick and tired of the cryptocurrency bullshit!!!
by

I perfectly understand the state of mind, especially if you see your money disappear.
I can be detached because I have invested only the proceeds of the bounties, which I never considered as "money"; then, seeing that they diminish disturbs me less.
Of course, I'd rather see them grow up ....

Re: LIFE GOES ON.
by

on 17/10/2018, 21:33:13 UTC
The crypto world is made up of instability, volatility, sudden and unpredictable changes, upwards or downwards.
If we are good - and lucky - we can make a lot of money.
Otherwise, someone else does it at our expense. That's life...
