To the bounty manager: Will there be another bounty when this bounty ends?

I can't say for sure, but I believe there is a good chance that PlanChain will want to run another bounty after this one. I recommend joining the Telegram and following PlanChain so you can be one of the first to know when the next bounty is, if there is one!

Re: Tips On How To Receive More Rewards In Bounty Campaigns!

1) Before starting any type of work, review the project's whitepaper/website/blog posts.
==> If you are serious enough about wanting to create a high quality piece of work, you need to understand the content you are creating. This should be common sense, but you'd be surprised.
I wouldn't be surprised at all if most bounty hunters didn't read the whitepapers.  I strongly suspect that most of them don't care about the project they're advertising for as long as they get paid, and that isn't going to change.  It's all about the money for them, and honestly I can't blame them for not understanding any given project.  Most projects aren't offering anything groundbreaking, and most are conceived as a mechanism by which only the developers can profit.  Bounty hunters are lucky if they even get paid what they were promised.

I'd say maybe 10% of the bounty hunters read the whitepaper and actually understand the project. I can't speak on behalf on all of the bounty hunters on why, but my best guess is that they are only participating for the free tokens. However, they are only going to receive the bare minimum of tokens so I don't understand what the point is in that as that is not worth the effort in my mind. I'm very selective on what projects I participate for so I've had zero issues with not receiving any tokens or falling for scams.

You have been in bounty for 2 long years but why your account still in Jr. member? You must be a Full member or senior now.
Bounty hunters are notorious for their inability to earn the requisite merits to rank up further than jr. member, so that shouldn't surprise you.  If your only interest in bitcointalk is doing bounties, chances are that you aren't making good posts and you're probably writing them all in the spammy sections where merits are rarely given.  Plus it doesn't matter to the bounty what your rank is as long as you have some space in your signature for advertising.  Junior member is the bare minimum, and that's basically all most bounty hunters are shooting for.

I was never a bounty hunter on here, only through Bounty0x.

About the OP, It is useful to use and i will agree on that! but can you answer me about your account? i am just curious! TIA

I worked for Bounty0x for about two years, hence why I never used Bitcointalk. Bounty0x is a completely independent bounty platform. I recently left Bounty0x and started doing some bounty management on my own, here on BCT. So that is why I'm only a Jr. Member currently.

Looking higher payment from bounty campaign depend with how success an ICO, have reached hard cap target or not before joining and receiving bounty campaign coins, many bounty campaign success with many coin got on spreadsheet but the ICO is not reached of hard cap target and you have forget with your payment from bounty campaign.

If you want to receive more rewards in bounty campaigns, there is only one way. That is, to develop your skills. If you are a good coder or programmer, or if you are expert in creating videos, you will make massive income. You will even get paid in whatever coin you prefer. That is the best way to receive more reward.

But the more important question at this point is, how sure are you that the bounty campaign you are joining will pay? You need to learn to make sure that whatever campaign you are joining is legit and will pay.

Obviously you have to make sure the bounty campaign you are participating in is legitimate and reputable. That goes without saying.

If you follow the first two tips I posted above, you will be able to determine if the project/team is legitimate and how successful the sales will be. You have to take some time to completely understand the team and their goals before you even decide whether you should participate in the bounty campaign or not.

These are very good tips posted above and I also got some nice jobs in the past, indirectly because the Teams saw I had a very enthusiastic streak. I managed myself once a whole bounty campaign here on Bitcointalk for the PROOFSUITE PROJECT and everyone was happy with it, the bounty hunters and the Project CEO as well. I am seriously thinking of getting maybe more involved at this level as I am also a legendary member of this forum. We should do our work diligently and with respect to the projects, we get involved with and show that we are serious and dedicated in what we do as that might lead to more lucrative jobs and tasks.

I'm glad you've had great success with bounty campaigns and managing them! People don't realize that if you put in the work and time and are dedicated to a project, there is a high chance of furthering your work with that project. So instead of just jumping around between multiple bounty campaigns and receiving tokens from all kinds of new startups, you could focus on maybe one or two that you really like and strive to become a team member by proving to the team that you can be of value to them.

And you really follow this strategy? You know everything about the project? So why then you participate only in a bounty campaign and you don´t apply for an Ambassador position for example?  Smiley

I personally have been onboarded on a couple of teams that I originally just participated in their bounty campaigns for. This is how I became a Sheriff for Bounty0x, then quickly rose all the way up to Distribution Manager. I've also became a Community Manager for a couple of projects such as ArtPro after participating in their bounty campaign.

If you follow these tips I posted below, the teams you invest your time in to create quality work will take notice to you pretty quickly. They are always looking for dedicated community members to help increase their marketing or community engagement, and if you are looking for even more tokens, I advise you get busy as there are so many awesome opportunities out there.

How To Receive More Rewards In Bounty Campaigns!

Me again. I've worked in the Bounty industry for almost two years now and wanted to share some tips on how bounty hunters can earn higher rewards from bounty campaigns! This post pertains more specifically to content creation bounties like writing Articles or creating YouTube videos.

1) Before starting any type of work, review the project's whitepaper/website/blog posts.
==> If you are serious enough about wanting to create a high quality piece of work, you need to understand the content you are creating. This should be common sense, but you'd be surprised.

2) Join the project's Telegram group and ask questions, and/or resources to use.
==> I can't reiterate enough how important and valuable it is to join the project's Telegram group. Telegram is a direct link to the project's team members where you can ask them anything you want. This is very rare outside of the crypto-space so you need to take advantage of this as much as possible!

So, to be more specific about this, I highly recommend asking as many questions as necessary about the project until you fully understand the key aspects and how everything works. Not only will this help you create more accurate and valuable content, but it will also make you standout in the community. The more engaged you are in the community and with the team, the higher chance of receiving higher rewards!

Lastly, ask the team for any resources that you'd like to use in your content creation. For example, ask for any videos, images, or logos. These resources will make your content much more professional and reputable.

3) Don't even think about plagiarizing or paraphrasing any existing content.
==> This is the biggest red flag that will reduce your rewards drastically, if not disqualify you from receiving anything at all. There is no value in producing something that already has been produced. You should read and check to see what has already been created for that project, however, you shouldn't copy any of it. Instead, try to further clarify anything that left you confused or expand on any topic that you think should be expanded on.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hope this helps! Let me know your thoughts or feedback and feel free to ask any questions you may have below!

Re: If You Died Tomorrow, What Would Happen To Your Crypto?

One's life is short and pale but it doesn't ends there. Passing your wallet to someone else is like passing a legacy and to continue the dream that you might not meet. I know it is sad, but it doesn't mean the dream won't happen.

I like how you worded this. I don't know if everyone looks at it the same way, but for me as well, investing in crypto at this point is more about investing in a project and adoption. I'm not looking for quick returns; rather, I'm looking for long term development and adoption. I'm only invested in the projects that I believe will make an impact in this sector and in the world.

So when we talk about making our crypto assets inheritable, for me as well, this means passing on my dream of increasing crypto's adoption and supporting the projects that I'm committed too.

Re: 10 Common Mistakes Beginner Cryptocurrency Traders Do
by
Brybro27
on 23/10/2019, 15:35:03 UTC
Well!! Did you know?

Trading crypto is one of the risky thing as a lot of people starts trading without the knowledge of cryptocurrency market.
As a crypto beginner trading crypto safely is one of the best idea ever.

What's your take on this?

Biggest mistake that everyone makes, not only beginner traders, is listening to others and investing based on other's suggestions/recommendations.

Unfortunately, as of right now, this space is filled with scammers and businesses that can be persuaded by money. So everything you read about a project has at least a 50% chance of being populated by a scammer, or by a paid expert (ICOBench and other ICO listing sites).

Saying this, my biggest takeaway is not only just doing your own research, but creating discussion with the actual team and learning more about them. The first thing I do when learning about a new project is joining their Telegram group and asking questions about their website/whitepaper. You will learn so much based on the team's answers, if they even provide answers.

Is there any particular reason you chose VeChain instead of other established platforms eg. Ethereum or Waves? Both of these platforms have proven to be good choices for token launches. THen also, you mention artistic works - do you include images of paintings or will you only be focusing on digital artworks?

First, we are a vertical of Safe Haven which is also powered by VeChainThor, so it would only make sense to run on the same blockchain.
Secondly, VeChain has established themselves as an enterprise blockchain with very prestigious partners and a valuable network.
There are many other reasons, like better technology, but these are the main ones on why we chose VeChainThor.

As for the artistic works, images and paintings can be included as well, not just digital artworks. More information on this will be released as soon as we release our Whitepaper which will be before our TGE.

Re: How to protect your crypto before death?
by
Brybro27
on 22/10/2019, 18:55:52 UTC
If at some point in time I come across death, how would I actually preserve my crypto for other family members to enjoy? I mean, this should be a concern to every crypto enthusiast since all the money they've earned over time could easily be lost without the ability to be recovered by someone else. The decentralized nature of crypto, leaves us responsible of protecting our own funds no matter what.

Which is why, I'm eager to know which are the best practices to preserve my cryptocurrency in case I die in the future? Any recommendations or suggestions will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley

I actually just made a post about this about 3 hours before you posted this question. You can check it out here.

Basically, if you want to look into using a blockchain service, I recommend checking out Safe Haven. They are close to releasing the BETA version of their Safe Haven Inheritance Platform (SHIP) which may be out by the end of this year. Basically, their platform allows you to interact with legal entities and make your crypto inheritable to your beneficiaries.

DISCLAIMER: I'm invested in Safe Haven and it is mainly because they are the first to explore this issue and create a solution for it.

Yes they are actually! Planchain is a vertical of Safe Haven. In the near-future, Safe Haven will help us make Intellectual Property (IP) assets inheritable.

Re: If You Died Tomorrow, What Would Happen To Your Crypto?
by
Brybro27

The answer to the question is a bit obvious, it would remain in your wallet, ofcourse, unless, there are other people who knows about private infos of your wallet in order for them to take over of your holdings. Your holdings won't vanish just because the wallet is no longer active, as far as I know. So basically it does depend to the person if he would let other people know about his investments in crypto if ever he would die someday just to be prepared and for investments to not be wasted.
Basically, if the owner dies and his wallet was left inactive, the supply of circulating crypto will decreased. Unless he trusted it to someone else and continue using cryptocurrency as his heir, which is better so someone can benefit from the earned crypto than letting it to put to waste and become inactive forever.

I understand that the tokens would stay in your wallet. That is obvious. The whole meaning of this post was to hopefully get people to start thinking about taking the necessary steps in order to secure their investments beyond their life. Whether it is sharing your keys and passwords with a close one, or planning to utilize Safe Haven in the near-future, something should be planned out so your investments don't get wasted.

Nobody from my friends or relatives has an opinion of how to use crypto currencies, so I would probably suggest that no one would have access to my crypto at the end. Hopefully, nothing happens, or I would probably start learning girlfriend how to use MEW.

I'd highly recommend against this! Just because none of your friends or relatives don't know anything about crypto doesn't mean that you should just let your investments go to waste! If anything, write an instructional guide and share it with your family. Tell them they don't need to know what to do know, but if the time comes, then they need to follow the instructions step-by-step in order to access your funds!

Sounds easy though. I will just include my personal note book that contains all my crypto activities in my will

It is easy. Everyone has this information already organized, or at least everyone should for their own recovery/usage. I just want to make sure everyone has a plan on sharing this information when they pass as our assets will be of no use locked in a wallet that no one knows about!

It takes a matter of minutes to cover yourself so just make sure you have a plan laid out.

I do not know much about Safe Haven but giving cryptocurrency to the third party is pretty dangerous, I think. Or how it works? There is no exact informations how it will work.
But as soon as possible we need to solve such questions to attract more people to invest into cryptocurrencies.  Smiley

It sounds dangerous, especially since this sector is completely filled with scams and fake projects these days. However, Safe Haven knows that this will be the biggest hurdle to overcome as they will need to earn everyone's trust before their Inheritance Platform will be used. That is why they founded the Trust Alliance Network and are partnering with real, and credible legal entities.

For more technical information on how the Inheritance will work, I recommend reading their Whitepaper .

I told my parents and my girlfriend passwords and all the necessary things to gain access to cryptocurrencies if anything happened to me, hope that this will not happen, but it would be a big mistake not to think about it.

Unfortunately, my parents don't believe in crypto so I didn't even try to explain this to them. However, I'm trying to get my brother to at least understand it just in case the death reaper comes for me soon.

I know that some smart contract solution is a much more elegant solution, but they are not ready to have own wallets.  Wink

The cool part about Safe Haven is that you don't need to create different wallets or set anything up separately. Basically, you split your keys into pieces and you give one piece to your party and the other to the legal entity. So when the time comes, the party you setup will receive both pieces in order to access the funds.

At least, this is how I originally understood it. Haven't had too much time to digest all the technical details, but I'm following Safe Haven either way because I think this will be the most efficient and easiest way to transfer funds from myself to whoever I want them to be transferred too. This is a unique issue that affects everyone so it will be interesting to see how it is implemented.

If You Died Tomorrow, What Would Happen To Your Crypto?

As more and more investors join this sector, a question everyone should be asking themselves is: "What happens to my crypto if I was to die unexpectedly soon?"

I understand the thought of this is depressing, but it is inevitable and the only thing that matters is whether you prepared for it or not. Most of us have enough money in this game to start preparing for this in order to prevent it from going to waste.

If you haven't planned around this, or even thought about it yet, I recommend investigating the few options below:

1) Include all your wallets and passwords/seeds in your will. Make sure you include instructions on how to access your funds as well as giving these to someone not familiar with crypto will be just as useless as not even including them in your will.

2) Along with the will, teach the closest person in your life how to access your funds. Whether this is your significant other, family member, or really close friend, make sure someone understands how to access a wallet and transfer/sell the funds. Just like how you should be researching projects before you invest in it, make sure you choose who you share your secrets with carefully.

3) Take a look at Safe Haven. Safe Haven is building an Inheritance Platform that will allow you to do everything above, but with a legal entity that understands crypto and will make sure your funds get in the right hands. Not only will you reassured that your funds are secured and inheritable, but you will also be increasing the adoption of crypto yourself, outside of just investing into it.

So no matter what you are invested in, if it is a large amount of money, I recommend you begin thinking about the future. Crypto is very complex and requires a lot of time to make it fully inheritable, so please make sure you take the appropriate safeguards and steps in doing this correctly.
