Re: Buy Reddit Upvotes - Upvotes.io

I think it's a case to case basis. If I were a moderator and I see an account just days or weeks old spam upvoting in other threads, I would be suspicious. So I guess it boils down to how old your account is and past activities. My reddit account is years old with not much activity but I don't get banned despite upvoting/downvoting/commenting in posts under subreddits I am not subscribed in.

What is considered an aged account? Is a 1 yr old account safe enough not to get banned?

I think that 1 yr accounts are already considered "aged" but you should still be careful since posting links or marketing a product out in the open could still give red flags to mods. Let the pros in upvotes.io do the dirty work for you. xD

I'm planning to buy upvotes but I wonder if 100 upvotes could raise suspicion which could lead to an account ban. Any thoughts on this?

Now you need to look deeper, read the whitepaper and the purpose of the coins made, see how the coin roadmap is for your criteria, usually a successful team is easier to make the project successful.

Yes it's good to read the roadmap and whitepaper of a project that you like, but I don't think that the whitepaper is enough to determine its legitimacy. There are a lot of factors we need to consider such as the team's track record, opinion of others in the community. Luckily Menlo One will be launching its decentralized ICO marketplace soon. We won't have to spend so much time checking every ICO and we'd get to just pick which we think is the best investment...

ICO investing can be a bit more risky than other types of investments, but I think the gains in trading is not so much either... There's also a game changing platform called Menlo One. It is an ICO marketplace that will launch within this year. I'm sure a lot of investors will use its platform since it is a lot safer and more convenient to use.

I'm using ICObench for now, but will be moving to menlo.one soon. Being able to use a single platform to see listed ICOs, join discussions, make/check reviews, and actually manage your portfolio is too good of a project to ignore especially since their team has a good track record.

Definitely. It's really luck nowadays to get a good investment or trade that's why you can opt to take the trading for those with good charts or maybe the ones that are there with good products and support.

Hopefully we won't have to rely on just luck when Menlo One's ICO platform is launched this July. I may just be a newbie investor, but I think this project is unique from other ICOs as discussed in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rw1QBpBYE6o I think their CEO is brilliant.

I actually accessed their dashboard https://dai.makerdao.com/ coz I wanted to buy some DAI. Got caught up in their explanation on how they will keep DAI at 1:1 with the dollar. Do they mean that they will automatically turn the excess to ETH and send it to our Eth wallet? Sounds like a big advantage for Eth if I understood correctly. xD

Bitcoin is still the top dog of all them cryptos since whatever the price of Bitcoin greatly affects alt coins, but not vice versa. I do think that this is temporary though.

Try to learn as much as u can from this forum. There is the most important information. Check board for newbies.
Look, do not invest all your money and do not be disappointed later if you lose everything. It happens.

Investing all your funds into one asset is indeed a very high-risk move. Any asset including Bitcoin still have risks involved no matter how popular it seemingly is.

True.. With the uncertainty of gains due to the crypto market being so volatile and controversial, I would rather keep my job and just invest a portion of my pay into these assets.

I don't think it will possibly happen because every one gives his own opinion and every one has right for it. Social media is for everyone and no one can stop anyone to gives its opinion. Most of the people which we said experts are usually some famous youtubers that doesn't mean that they have experties in cryptocurrencies and i don't think anyone can tell you exact feature and i don't think it will crash as much.

Look what he based his opinions on though. I see some solid findings and I hate to admit that I was also skeptical at first. Now, it looks like we are falling slowly to the predicted price level.

This is really great news.. I was hoping for a solution for the fees and it looks like Coinbase and other similar services took it upon themselves to help with this.. At least we can still use Bitcoin as an effective and cheap payment platform again.

Re: Is it better to save money or invest it?
by
BubblySheep

Investing means that we save and earn money while saving money means we spend very small volumes of money, then I think more agree with investing because there will be a price will rise compared to the previous price but in the range of long enough.

I don't think investing is the same as saving money since you are actually risking it for the potential of higher returns. I do agree that investing is far better than just letting your money lose their value in banks.

I agree with this.. The TS specifically stated the difference between saving and investing. Both are totally different since investing allows your money to work for you even while you sleep, but risks are still there and they need to be considered.

It's true that people can still make money from scams but they need to be quick in getting in and out before the door shuts. Those who came in last are the poor victims.

Re: Is $10,000 the bottom to buy BTC?
by

There's a very big chance that Bitcoin's bottom is at $10,000 levels. Worst case scenario, I highly doubt that it will break below $8,000 due to the sheer number of bidders at the $9k price.

I think that it's a good time to buy Bitcoin especially during this sideways movement.. Be wary if it breaks support though, I would always be on a lookout.
