The number one factor to consider when hodling a cryptocurrency is this...establish your "take profit" whenever the price gets to that level...you should seriously consider selling, despite what the market or news might be indicating.
Try as much as possible to recover your profit as fast as you can..that give u a sense of leverage and relaxation...you can sell some, recover capital then hodl some for further future profits.

I think now is a good time to invest in alternate currencies. Bitcoin is so expensive right now and everybody is scrambling for cheaper alternatives. Plus companies have started accepting payments from other alternate currencies like ethereum, litecoin, bitconnect etc.
2018 is going to be great for the world of cryptocurrencies

Personally i'm strongly looking at NEM...since last year it has grown from $0.004819/coin to $0.94135 in 1 year...thats over 190% growth...and i feel it will do better in 2018

Solving an actual need in the crypto world is a great and valuable sale point in ICOs and this solves an actual need...now whats left is awareness, decentralization and acceptance

Personally I feel it will be a while before bitcoin cash can take over bitcoin as the number 1 cryptocurrency.
News and speculations always have a way of creating a mirage in this crypto world. But generally bitcoin is still far more acceptable than bitcoin cash. Even though some sites online are starting to come around and include BCH as an accepted payment form.
