Re: Official AMT Thread round 3: Future Plans.

It's been almost a month since Dec 15th... has anyone seen hide or hair of this vaunted "compensation"? Is this just more crap, more smoke-screen? I know what I think, at least.

These f0ck3rs owe me almost six grand... and I was like order 1600 or so... the amount of money they owe must be stupendous, which is another reason why I think I'm just screwed. Why is it so hard to get anything done about this? What do I do from here? Just keep sitting on my thumb?

feeling stupider than usual,

Do I have to do anything to insure I'm included in the class action lawsuit? I went to

http://www.chimicles.com/advanced-mining-technology-bitcoin-miner-manufacturer-litigation

several times and filled out the form, but I've never gotten a reply from them.

Thanks for any help anyone can give me.

These f****ers still owe me almost six grand. What is your advice, if any? What the hell should I do, at this stage? I can't even find these guys on the web any more, have they closed up shop? Am I just out the money? It's been almost a year now. Can't somebody meet this Mofo somewhere with a baseball bat? I live too far away.

This guy says he has three in hand. Pretty pricey. Interesting.

Why is that CAPTCHA so insanely difficult?

I had to try at least 10 times before getting it right this time.

I'd say about 50% of the time I get it right on the first try.
35% it takes two tries
10% three tries
5% 5 tries.

It seems to be very moody.

It is hellish. I am dyslexic, and have 20/950 vision. My nose has literally hit the screen before when trying to get the damn thing right. I'm not sure why we even need one, these are not the codes that launch nukes or anything. Jeezus.

I love captcha when every person in the room can't make it out after 3 refreshes. They've not only eliminated bots but everyone from getting access.  Mission accomplished.

Okay, yes, screw that. I'm really more worried about this fifteen hour block. Twilight of the gods? Are we seeing the end of amateur mining, or just really really bad luck?

Is the captcha really necessary on mining.bitcoin.cz?  What is with this stupid trend to have captcha in every fucking corner of the internet?

it stops your btc from being hacked easier...

however this captcha seems to fail 1 to 2 times when I enter it correctly

I'm dyslexic, and the increased use of those damn things has almost shut me out of the internet. The quickest I've ever gotten into Slush is 3 times. Usually it's more like six or seven.

The cool thing is, for those of us who waited, is that now that so many people have left the pool the rewards are, at least for me, significantly larger. I could stand a few days of this.

Who the hell is getting all the blocks? It sure ain't us. Are we in the future now? Will an endless stream of twelve hour blocks become a daily routine?

You should post more often - block found

Heh... I noticed that too... within just a few minutes... Hmmm, hmmm...

Man, my problem is, I have the crappiest job in the world at a great place  to work. All I have to do all night is sit at the computer and goof off, so half my time, I spend monitoring the pool, just for lack of anything better to do. A watched pot never boils, as the old saying goes. Used to, I barely looked at the pool two or  three times a day, but of course, in the "good old days" there has hardly ever a twelve hour block either. I am fixing to buy a 1.2TH miner, but now I'm stopping and thinking... if corporate mining is killing it for us hobbyists, what's the point? I might as well just buy coins and wait. That's not nearly as much fun, though, I enjoy mining.

ONE block in 20 hours.  This is what I call taking one for the team.  I hope all the other pools are appreciating our sacrifice.  Is Slush not paying his monthly dues, is there collusion against Slush  ?   Slush, point your server at BtcGuild...LoL

And our hashrate is still almost 900 gigas... I'm surprised people aren't jumping ship, i don't remember things ever sucking this badly... Surely somebody out there compiles a list of pools, their payout per megahash, and their hit ratio... who is getting all the blocks, I wanna know...

Congrats all...We did it you guys....10 hour block !   dare we go to 11 ?  LoL

Just wait for the 24 hour block.  Tongue

The future ain't what it used to be, boys... When I got into this a year and a half ago, seven and eight hour block happened, but were an oddity... Now we seem to be getting one a day if not more... I'm sure the 24 hour block is out there, just biding it's time... I guess this is what it's come to, big business has discovered our playground, and there's money to be made on a grand scale... Too bad if the little guy that started it all gets shoved out in the cold. Damn, I'd just like for the hardware I've bought to pay for itsself... whine mode /off/...
