Seems rather obvious looking at the chart in this Zero Hedge article... EUR/USD up a lot in 2013 - BTC price up. EUR/USD down a lot in 2014 and crashing this weekend - BTC price down and crashing this weekend.

At some point if the BTC/USD price drops far enough, it makes more economic sense to sell your solar power back to the power company rather than using it for mining. Unless you live off the grid or your power company won't buy your KWh.

Today was just registration deadline. Auction bid submissions are on Thursday until 2 PM Eastern.

Actually prior to the previous auction the market rallied quite a bit into it and also after it.

Just wait for the page 20k war... anyone at that point trying to go back and find the 10k war will prob find it around page 8k by then.

Will be interesting how it plays out compared to the last auction announcement in June. After that announcement the market bottomed out pretty quick in a day or so and then went up.
