Yes but in decentralized form and not centralized. However, it may be good if we compare to centralized currency. As we all know the so many benefits of decentralized currency.

I think it all depend on the person. Being greedy could really go down a person but others are not. They tend to get more lucky than everyone else that instead of going down they tend to become successful. This is why I believe that failing down still depend on the individual. There are lucky individual out there.

Re: Why women are the minority in crypto land?

i feel that cryptocurrency is an emerging and technical field, men prefer adventure and technology Grin
Yeah you got some point buddy. But I think when it comes to number there are quite few women are interested too in technology. I think their numbers are quite high also. However, majority or most likely men are good or technically inclined compared to women. This could be one of the main reason. Nice pointing out this one.

Because women are not good in analyzation. They really poor to it but when it comes to nagging then clearly they are expert. Women are interpersonal or more on speaking and can learn through speaking while mean are good at observation and analysis. This is why only few women are in cryptocurrency but still if you are in cryptocurrency your money can be spend to those nagging women like in a date. Wether we like it or not we do like women and we are born innate to like them.

Re: What are the reasons for entering the crypto market?
by
BullRunw2023
on 06/07/2021, 12:08:22 UTC
To gain of course. Entering into considered as the new financial aspects that could get the chance to gain was the primarily goal of an individual racing with others doing smart decisions compared to others. Just like trading when you gain others are losing and when you are losing others too are gaining. This is why when you enter into crypto market. You should consider outsmarting others in your decision making.

Well, do not consider that much importance with money. I know that money the material thing could give you a lot in exchange but not all things money could buy. There are other things that money could not compensate.

A piece of advise is that while giving importance to money make sure that you balance everything espcially other priorities like giving time to love ones.

I just read the OP's reply and it is up to OP if he will be able to recover the loss. This is another way of development against decentralization because there are already options that mistakes like the one OP stated above could now be resolve. I think we can still see more of this kind of feature in the future.

I prefer bitcoin due its anonymity when sending payment and being decentralized but the fees are high I think it could be more than you pay the third party service to ensure smooth transaction. Hoping that bitcoin transaction fee will going to be cheaper than the current.

Re: Will Bitcoin Mining Cause Global Warming?
by
BullRunw2023
on 05/07/2021, 14:37:26 UTC
No, those industries that has a waste product of carbon will most likely to become the number 1 reason for global warming. In my opinion those power plant that uses coal will produce more carbon dioxide in the atmosphere unless they adapted new ways to prevent their waste product to reach the atmosphere.

Bitcoin mining could be a different story and for me does not contribute that much in the atmosphere pollution. Bitcoin mining can  be operated in low enegy consumption   by using other means to save electricity like capacitor bank. The engineering works will matter and can minimized all the possible waste products that could destroy the atmosphere.

We all need to sacrifice as a result of this pandemic keeping humanity active by helping others that are really in need. This is why government are optimizing their capabilities to help recover by balancing the system in which they see that in digital currencies huge cash flowing and that they can get a lot to it.

I will agree to the government moves for sure that those rich people will directly affected to this with their huge asset on cryptocurrency.

There should be no absoulte decentralization!
by
BullRunw2023
on 23/12/2020, 03:28:11 UTC
There is no perfect system and that same thing with absolutism. Absolute decentralized is not effective nor absolute centralized system. Therefore a combination of both system should do in order to get an effective and efficient system.

In the case of cryptocurrency, some are relying too much on complete decentralize system or platform.  Of course as expected there are occuring problems that arises and that still now does not resolve.

Some problems I had seen and observe.

1. The lack of authority from the crypto founder to resolve issues from its user. We will not talk about the authority coming from the government because many of us here will not agree of them to interfere in the system because they can just ruin the anonymity by conducting KYC and other preventive measures. So, what I am seeing is the lack of addressing problems from the founder of the crypto. After they implemented the system they will just say that system is good and ready to go and if you as a user will get mistake then that is your problem and your fault. No one had force you to join in cryptocurrency and you must adapt to it. This is not good for those who wishes a better system.

2. Miners service are decentralize.
Who would ever thought that they could get you a 1$ transaction of a fee which could be more than a thousand dollar's fee? There is something wrong and miners should be held liable into this by only limiting the transaction fee to be deducted not more than the transacted amount. They are abusing due to the fact that their service is in demand especially the bullish trend of bitcoin.

3. The abuse may be only happening and will be resolve between both parties. Same thought about in number 1 but this talk about resolution between both parties and not about the lack of authority from the founder. A certain user could mistakenly send high amount in the transaction without checking it and will be requested for a refund. The other party could deny and there us nothing you could do because it was your fault and no one can help you.

4. Complete decentralize platform may gone wrong.
Again, there is no perfect system and if there will be errors that will going to take place expect that you can no approach any technical team to resolve the issue. Reminders that there are no technical team to review in that errors but only the forum provided.

5. Abusers are free to do scamming in their own decentralized way. The ICO projects before are really worth it and  investors are really earning after investing but today they created a lot of ways in crowdfunding but many of it are just like robbing a bank easily stealing crowdfund even in the daylight.

So much to improve about the cryptocurrency and I think that there should be a need to insert centralized system to get the authority not coming from the government but to the cryptocurrency founder itself.

Re: [question] Password protected qr codes with sensitive info
by

on 13/12/2020, 13:22:59 UTC
QR code? Yes, it is possible and a way for you to make any platform easier to access just by a scan of a QR code to sign in. But this is not secured as what I was thinking due to possible losses of the QR code copies or being taken by someone else and access your account. So the traditional access by inputting password or key would still be ideal.

Bitcoin could dethrone gold and appreciate 25-30 times from current levels

Bitcoin could appreciate to roughly 25 to 30 times from its current price of around $18,000 to $20,000, says Cameron Winklevoss, president and co-founder of Gemini.

What do you think about gold investors?

Is it time for them to dump gold assets and switch to bitcoin?

Check their video here,

uniswap is taken from the idea of coinswap? Well, when you convert a coin to other coin is consider as swapping. But uniswap has better way of doing it like a complete decentralize exchange. However, I am hearing bad feedback of uniswap recently.

Re: 10 years ago Satoshi made his last post
by

It would be much better as a founder of the forum to come out and give news about the project he created.

I do not think that he will afraid to get a swarm of posts coming in his future thread. If he's afraid to receive PM then he an disable the PM on his profile.

Satoshi should be happy that after 10 years the technology he build is doing great that has been put to good use in my opinion.
