Now talking serious, what's the most profitable CPU coin right now?
I believe in FairQuark, still decent profits and great launch. Its not in biggest exchanges yet, so the price will explode.

Wow.. gotta mine hard now
Few issues:
- Its dangerous for the coin that the one pool has so much power. The pool owner could destroy the coin if he wanted to.
- Also, not a good idea to change the algo because gpu-mining would balance the powerful pools and vps-miners. (Quark gpu-miner isn't very powerful and it can only solomine, so its kinda ok)
- No premine and not sufficient mining power for the devs: Not enough resources for basic services.
- Megaminer mystery (~800Mh/s with the animeminer at that time was unbelievable HUGE) - was it a ~5000-10000 comp botnet or some weakness/backdoor in the algo?
Hope these things can be fixed by the voluntary community work!
PS. FairQuark was launched with p2pools and the network has been stable.. maybe those could balance animecoin too?

Please add FairQuark (FRQ) into trading. It has many people waiting for exchange and its still good for mining with cpu.

How many coins is people getting per day mining at pool with lets say an 8 core?? I'm looking at http://ani.minepool.cc and it appears that the maximum contributor gets 52 coins per day. Is it for real or I am missing something?

The problem is they feel altcoins hurt them and they THINK they are better because they focus on a REAL coin! You can sense it between every word. They are shooting themselves in the foot. You see this stuff everyday. I thought bitcoin people were different. Just another day I guess....
You are absolutely right. I still believe Doge did more good to the community and people are getting excited on opportunities like Bitcoin was years ago. Never underestimate the power of marketing.

AMD cpus are great in Quark based coins and you should get a lot more (in FairQuark mining 965 gives around 130kh/s per core).. Try a different miner.

My 24core Xeon E5 gives only 0.5Mhasesh (25khash/core). So it's like 36.000 cores on one account. Never saw such power on any CPU coins, even when Quark was pumped.
May be gpu rig or 50k botnet.
It looks like coin founder made a back-end in the code to instamine huge amounts with hidden algo.
Anyone looked the modified algo? There might be some weakness or shortcut
Back to FairQuark.. at least it has been fair mining

I am mining on http://mine.fairquark.com:8372 for more than three hours.
During the first hour I was receiving payments in my wallet almost every 2 minutes. after the first hour, nothing!!! Two hours without coin.

No problems with payments even when the difficulty raises.

I think they meant it was instamined for a group of people. Big instamine = premine = whatever -> unfair. It was discussed on this thread also so just read the previous posts and make up your own mind.. everyone is tired of that topic
FairQuark mining profits are still good and there have been great giveaways.. so its safe to join IMHO

Why on pools eternally any intervals in payments? Part of the schedule certainly it isn't visible, but there was more hash rating and there were intervals till some hours in payments.
In the last 24 hours there was no payment.
I have experienced also problems on p2pool when the difficulty was very high and my own hashrate was low. I think 40kh/s (mean) is too low for p2pool and I would use that GUI pool instead. Although, no problems for me from p2pools after the launch night and I have pretty average hashrate (one older cpu mining..)In the last 24 hours there was no payment.
