I knew the shitty Openex will kill this coin, and it did.

Openex and sheeple are this coins saving grace.. Don't kid yourself...

I wouldn't worry about Openex.  I mean the price of 42 there is 100 lol...
Yes, coins on Openex are having very cheap price there. It is worse than Coinedup.

Yeh.. I know that one.. I mean, the change in my pocket should be worth millions... stupid pocket... (Where do these window lickers come from?)

Yes 3% was harsh, though I did make 17 coins in an hour over there which are confirmed and paid out in whole. The second pool they openend when they found out the first one was bad had 1% fee.

Ahh cool, so you were in on the post premine, premine too? Is that why you're trying to defend it now?

I mean yeh, 3% is harsh, but it was kinda predictable.. When a load of 0.1btc pump n dump peasants get together to launch a coin, you just know the only reason is GIEF U'R BTC'z!!!

It's a shame, this coin had real potential.. But this whole thread is a testament to the farcical scam it's become.

Don't be so negative, devs are on IRC and you have no idea if they have any scam intentions as you implied.

Wow really? Is that the same irc chat they've been using for their 30sec pump n dump scams for weeks?

I was in there for the supposed launch of this coin, hours in advance, where the early mine was being openly discussed, yet the devs remained conveniently mute and took no action.  Or rather they did take some action, they announced their 3% fee pool...

OFFICIAL UPDATE ON http://HTTP://ASTROPOOL.CO AND EARLY COINS

So due to the concerns expressed in this thread regarding http://astropool.co/ and termination of operations, I have contacted the creator of Astropool.co and he has informed me that when Astrocoin mining started at 12 A.M. UTC Jan. 22nd after a public announce on our IRC channel and here on Bitcointalk forum, the difficulty was very low, and several people jumped on board. The pool was unable to handle the traffic and there were several bugs. As of right now, the pool has shut down, everyone has been paid out in full and the site is still alive for anyone to go and withdraw their balances.

Another concern many expressed was that there was an instamine right after launch of the mining pools. Up till the launch we mined 3100 blocks, however within a few minutes of the pool launch, the total blocks jumped to over 4500. The developer has notified me that there has been some unfair manipulation and that the pool did not reward those 1015 block coins to anyone. Taking this into consideration, we have successfully requested ASTROPOOL.CO to return the Astrocoins that were not tied/linked to any account during the massive mine at 0.07 difficulty. We have confiscated those coins and have stored them away in a cold wallet that is encrypted and offline. Those coins will never hit and exchange and we are posting the URL to those coins publicly for all to keep an eye on.
