Not trying to Fud but there's very little chance this will pump after ICO ends, starting market cap will be very high and will need a lot to justify it. Remember Bitbay? I do  Roll Eyes

I would guess most investors in R3D aren't looking for a "pump" when ICO ends.  I believe in the project and the technology used with it.  Others can speak for themselves.

Good job not "trying" to FUD.  Roll Eyes

I believe in the project too but I don't like throwing away BTC either, so i'm just going to wait for the dump after ICO ends  Wink

That's the most idiotic thing I've heard all week.  If you believe in it then why would it be throwing away BTC?  Maybe no faith because you're a professional crypto bag collector?

It's idiotic that you heard it because you can only read it. I don't consider this a charity fundraiser to throw some BTC at it and expect nothing in return, but that's just me I guess.

The thing you would get in return for investing is the technology being released, and then you'd have these r3d tokens that you bought to be able to use with the r3d system. Most of the r3d investors actually want to use the r3d platform I think.

Hey folks,

As I'm coding here, I came up with a method to update your content potentially.  Would that be something you'd like to have the ability to do or would you rather everything kept on the chain is just in stone?

     Best regards,

syntaks

Being able to make revisions sounds like a good idea to me, as long as the original version is still available.

I haven't been following cryptos much lately, but when I heard about this I decided to put the last of my dwindling BTC stash into it. Not only is it a great use of blockchain technology, but its value is likely to rise when the market opens for trading, especially if not all the CFC coins are sold and the rest are burned. Fingers crossed that not too many people notice this one until after CFC is over. It is the only CFC or ICO that I've ever bought in to.

hopefully it hits its maximum, that way the developers have the most money to work with ;P
You enjoy quoting your puppet accounts?

Self moderated thread and project claims to be about ending censorship lmfao  Cheesy

I am not a sock puppet, I just don't come on BCT often because of people like you.

Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread -100% Original Codebase - Over 70 Team Members

I didn't read all 800 pages of the thread, but could someone explain (or link me to info) about building POI score?

It sounds like part of it is about holding at least 10,000 XEM for at least 48 hours. And part of it is about sending and/or receiving amounts to various different addresses. Are there other ways to realize a higher POI score as well?

I'm sure this has already been answered somewhere, so a link about it would be fine.

Thanks, and let's move to this new economy! It is very exciting!

Ditto I would like to know more, also what is NEMESIS?

how much XEM can be earned from harvesting?

Not much... Depends on your Importance score but since none of us is a big whale no one earns a big amount of xem... Whoever is now harvesting is not doing that to increase his/hers wealth.
It is just an incentive to those who support the network and the fees serve as antispam measure...

With a normal stake (2,25 Mil XEM) I've been harvesting since the beginning mostly during the day and I've harvested 462 XEMs from 8 blocks and 4 of them had 0 xems (emtpy blocks with no transactions nor fees).  It is a lottery, you may find a block which will hold a 1000 xems in fees and also you may find a block with 0 (way more often).

Also your improtance score doesn't give you any insurance how often you'll find a block.. It is just your chance... I've had days where I found several blocks and today for example I haven't found one yet... it all depends...

Set up the delegated harvesting and forget about getting rich... In the end NEM is a movement with a fixed number of coins. No new ones are created... So as NEM grows so will # of transactions grow as well as fees - ergo the rewards to those running nodes/harvesting will increase as well. :-)

Great info here. Sorry to make you say stuff for probably the 100th time. Is there somewhere that people can share XEM addresses for the goal of all building up some importance? I would like to give some for selfish reasons Cheesy

Mewn needs more attention. Is the dev still interested in it? Does the community care about it?

I see it as both good for trading and for holding because of the low min stake age, and the low max stake reward. It has good parameters, now it just needs some love.

Anyone got any ideas or thoughts on how we can make Mewn truly special?

Screw selling at this price. I'm staking it to the mewn instead!

So when you think of the Mewn, it makes you want to do sports betting?

Strange, but to each their own I guess... There's gotta be some feature we could ask for that's not about gambling... haven't thought of it yet though  Tongue

a bit disappointed that dev has no plan for the coin and is awaiting people to give ideas lol

just saying what the dev has said. any of the top coins don't ask what the community wants added when it is launched. when you make a coin you have a vision. no vision here plus with the high pos it will come down

Dev's vision for the coin is clearly MEWN! Full-mewn, maybe half-mewn too..

And I love that they asked what features we'd like, if I could think of one I'd be happy to suggest, but this MEWN already has most of the features, so I'm having a hard time suggesting anything other than... MEWWWN!

Edit: Maybe some extra stuff for the coin control would be nice... I've seen better coin controls out there.

From the OP: "PoS starts at 986.96% per annum (stake capped at 314.2 coins)"

Does the POS interest change over time, or is it always 986.96% per annum? I mean besides the 314.2 per stake cap.

i am not fuder, i am just angry on all idiots, who buy ico, dump coins, as always was right !!!!

some lyrics from what i am listen now

I'm dealing with the devil and I know all his tricks
Dialling up my number, it is 666
And I, I will get you tonight

I will hunt you like a raptor
Like a raptor, hunt you like a raptor
Like a raptor honey
Like a raptor, like a raptor

Cheers all !!!

No offence, but that song has some shit lyrics. Everyone plays the cryptos differently, personally I love the post-ICO dumpers who sell for half the price they bought at, it makes easy money for those who didn't buy at ICO price Wink

It's great to see another high POS coin with inflation control! While the name Mewn is pretty funny (I mined a lot of MOON a year ago), this coin is no joke! High POS means we basically get to keep mining after POW ends. Mine simply by holding it, I love that!

M O O N, that spells MEWN!  Grin

How anonymous/decentralized is the marketplace going to be?
With being closed source at launch..  I'm guessing nsa nodes/backdoors all over the place  Sad

Thanks for the humor Rocoro : -)

As you guys all know, we are serious about changing the landscape of how people interact on the internet. BitBay is about giving people the freedom to buy and sell regardless of what country they live in. When we say join the revolution, we mean it.

If government agencies want to get involved, they will have to buy BitBay first. : -)  And by all accounts, David is going to make it expensive for them to do so : -)

So it's not going to be open source then?

It is, its only obfuscated python to prevent easy deciphering of logic. It is done this way for audits and protection from lazy cloners. An advanced coder should be able to understand it. One day I will remove the obfuscation too and put it on github. But at least you can check for back doors.

What part of it is python? I thought altcoins were usually C++. That's interesting that you're obfuscating it, in the scripting world that is basically not open source. Cloners will clone anyway, but you're right that it wouldn't be a lazy effort to clone with obfuscated code. Cool project! I will sell my stash and buy in again when you open source it. Thanks for replying!

My wallet stopped being able to sync a couple days ago, so i deleted everything but the wallet.dat and tried to resync, and now it won't sync passed block 106316 anymore. Any thoughts on this noise23?

Edit: After removing everything and renaming wallet.dat then using the bootstrap file, then I could sync, and after that I've put my wallet.dat back and I seem to have my coins. So all is well.

I can confirm that staking is working for me after changing the number 100 to a 1 in wallet.cpp on line 1701.

I never expected Sumcoin to make it to the staking phase since the dev seems to be gone, but some of you kept on mining and it looks like we made it!

Now where's our community at? I love the idea of 1000% POS! Let's get this thing going!

Is there any way to get our dev back, or maybe someone could fork the github repo and push an update with the staking fix?

This coin has big potential!
