have we hit despair yet? no?!

down down down your boat down below the sea.
whales are here and whales are there squeezing little sheeps.

Cheesy

I do sense more and more despair. If the price does not rebound soon, expect even more despair.

There should be a bottom somewhere, we can't keep falling forever  Embarrassed

We need a big nice drop in order to build up a big momentum for the next rally.
The lower we go, the higher we will go too! Cheesy

Come on peps, cry, whine, and sell sell sell! Bitcoin is done! Cheesy

Man this is all we have been hearing for the last year and it keeps dropping and there is no sign of this "big rebound".

The big rebound doesn't bring a signal, it happens suddenly and who aren't aboard remain in the water.

I have to say watching it go down is just as exciting as watching it go up.  Now I'm just waiting for it to hit that magic number...

I don't care much about the price, I'll wait for the next bubble with a smile in my face Smiley

We are pricing in the sell-off of 200.000 gox-coins.

Also, we are not sure yet, if the 1200 rally was driven by self-created-gox-usd by mark k.

(read willy report http://willyreport.wordpress.com/2014/05/25/the-willy-report-proof-of-massive-fraudulent-trading-activity-at-mt-gox-and-how-it-has-affected-the-price-of-bitcoin/)

transaction rates and bitcoin price go hand in hand.

more transactions means higher value, and higher value means more transactions.

the transactions are nearing an all time high, the only time it has been (slightly) higher was a few days during november last year.

If this trend continues for a few more weeks, we will see the highest amount of transactions ever in bitcoin history, and the price will quickly follow.

I really hope so but at the moment I can't see the end of this dark tunnel...

It could be a mistake, I think you have to worry only if the login attempts will continue.

Re: $10,000 in three years

Bubble 1 - June 2011 - $30
Bubble 2 - April 2013 - $250
Bubble 3 - November 2013 - $1,200

B1 -> 22 months -> B2 -> 7 months -> B3 -> 8.5 months... -> B4?

Bubble 1 - 2

250 - 30 = 220
220 / 22 months = $10/month

Bubble 2 - 3

1,200 - 250 = 950
950 / 7 months = $135/month

Bubble 3 - 4?

@$10/month so far = $1,280 - erm, no, not a bubble
@135/month so far = $2,347.5 - still not really a bubble

Soooo......

135/10 = 13.5
135 * 13.5 = $1,822.5

@$1,822.g/month so far = $16,691.25

$16,691.25 would be the price of the peak of the bubble if we were at the peak today, which we are not.

$10,000 is looking more pessimistic every day.

Conclusion

Tim draper is a bear

So are you saying that $10,000 is a pessimistic speculation?
I definitely agree with you, but I was really close to sell them all some weeks ago...

I would get a tattoo with the private key (encrypted) somewhere on my arm, nobody can't steal it Smiley

That's a nice idea, does this service really exist?

I would pick 0,001 btc or more, less is only dust and could be found by someone who can appreciate them..

Just bought the new HardwareWallet.
2 for 25 Euros.
https://hardwarewallet.com/index.html

How does it compare with Trezor?  (The price is WAY less than Trezor's .)

Trezor uses its display to foil keyloggers that try to steal your PIN, and to display the destination address to prevent address substitution by malicious software on the computer.

The price is really low, I don't think I would trust them, but with enough feedbacks they could take Trezor's first place among hardware wallets.

If you don't have an high rank on btt you can try other forums like letstalkbitcoin.com that pay per post without any rank limits.
Also Storj and quark have implemented the same reward system, but the earnings are less.

I think it's nice to have a stable price, at least for a moment.

This is the right time to accumulate coins, I hope it will be in this range for several months.

You cannot mine without being connected to internet, to prove that you should try now.
