You cannot mine XUP (unoparty token), this can only be acquired by burning of the UNO coin, or buying from another user who has acquired XUP.
In both wallets available there is a Decentralized Marketplace which you could also use to purchase xup from other users by swapping other assets created on the platform.

you can mine the Unobtanium coin by using mining pools, UNO can be mined with merge mining.

Built ontop of the Unobtanium Network
Unobtanium Network has been running for 8+ years.

What is Unoparty?
Unoparty is a layer 2 protocol built ontop of the Unobtanium Network, It is a fork of the popular Counterparty Protocol that runs on bitcoin's network
It allows users to create their own Assets/Tokens (NFT/FT's) and trade them using the unobtanium network, it brings its own DEX marketplace for these assets and
brings functions such as allowing users to turn their Unobtanium address into a dispenser giving it a vending machine like behavior (Users send x amount of UNO to receive x amount of ASSET).
Unoparty also provides API tools so users can develop websites and apps that can bring utility to their assets.
Documentation is also provided to show the basics of creating a wallet, assets and developing further.

What is XUP?
Unoparty's official token, used to create assets on our network. More info will be available in the future about this.

How do i get XUP
Once mainnet is released there will be a 30 day burn period which holders of UNO can burn their token (more info on that later) to receive a certain amount of the XUP token.
There is no presale, ICO, or anything like that for this token.

How do the dev/s make money without an ICO
25% extra xup gets created on every burn and goes to a developer wallet controlled by me, I will then split this up and put half towards development funds, an early promise i made to counterparty/dogeparty devs also requires me to split my half with them.
so although 25% seems like a lot, 12.5% will goto future development, and just over 4% to me, jdog and Javier each.

Current Status
Unoparty is still in development, currently running on Unobtanium's Testnet.
We will announce the mainnet release date before it goes live.
Once released for 30 days there will be a Burn Period which allows users to burn their UNO coins to create the Unoparty Token (XUP), More info on that will be released in the future.

What is Unobtanium?
Unobtanium is a bitcoin clone that has been running for over 8 years,
it was built by a guy known as Blazr and since maintained by many members of the community.

This was initially created by terhnt (Bitwize on telegram), but have had many help bring this project to live including but not limited to;

We have much more coming with this project, and have had support from the Counterparty and Dogeparty devs, we are the Fourth Coin to use the Counterparty technology!

Just wanted to inform everyone of some stuff thats happening with unobtanium currently.


New Exhange pairings:
Usdt/Uno will be added to our most popular cex exchange (coinexchange.io)

BlockDx was waiting on majority of nodes to be on 0.11.0.0 if all goes well by next release should be available.
And afaik fallingknife will setup pairings desired most by community!

Hardware Wallets:
Trezor should be releasing firmware with unobtanium added this month!

Coldcard - available now but waiting on release of electrum

Ledger most work was done previously, will need updating but should be not too long away. Pending electrum release

LightWallet:
Electrum/electrumx client and server are up and running and working releases for windows, osx and linux will be available soon.

Core Changes:
There is many plans for updates to the core network, although we do need everyone to update to 0.11.0.0 before we look at doing any major or minor changes to core, thse changes include but are not limited to: bip32/bip44, segwit.

Funding:
Currently funding comes from the community, discussions had been in place about subsidy added to blocks to pay for development but this hinders the rare n fair. So please anyone wanting to see more progress for uno to donate to:
