Re: 382 BITCOIN ITS ENOUGH TO OPEN MY OWN BANK?
by
Bytextech
on 21/03/2018, 22:02:26 UTC
Hi, there are 2 important questions in what region are going to have a 'bank' and what type of services you would like to offer?
For example, to manage consumer funds you must have a license, in UK this type of license is PI, if your turnover is less them 3,000,000 GBP, you may apply for authorized PI.

Its "neobank" license, you can do a lot but not LENDNING or BROKERAGE, its good for fintech startups.

The second part - working with crypto you must have valid partner to arrange exchange issues and KYC, if not going to handle exchange part internally.

Then you must have a VISA or Mastercard membership to be able to issue cards by your own  ±200-400k.

To get correspondent account in USD is quite harder, mind that.

Dont forget about back office and marketing expenses, risks, taxes.

It should be legal business only.

Take care.

Dear Cryptofamily,

I am happy to announce the start of a new program from Cryptoways.com which was suggested by many members of the Cryptofamily. This program is called Cryptopia.

In short, you will vote for investments programs which you would like to join. We join them, and then you join as our referral. The referral commission that we earn from this program will be used to boost the value of Cryptowave. Also, you will earn CP for joining.

For more details, check our Cryptopia on http://cryptoways.com/cryptopia. You can also start suggesting programs for us to join and vote on them.

Choose another name to avoid any connections with other project. We are here to support you my friend.

Re: Looking for Website Ideas
by

If you want to build something for bitcoin community and you are a experienced web developer, you can make a stolen bitcoins database, where users can post their wallet addresses and a proof of ownership and it should allow them to explain how they lost their bitcoins and they should be able to track their funds or get notifications when funds are moved. If it works properly I think exchanges can use it's Api to identify stolen funds/deposits.

How this idea can help peoples?
This will be database only..
Yes, they can track stolen bitcoins, but they can't refund lost money.
I think this idea is useless (my opinion only)

Its true, useless 100% until you want to cry..listen Norah Jones that will work.

Re: The Paypal for Bitcoin
by
Bytextech

I love the idea of having a company similar to PayPal and using Bitcoin as the medium of payment. Is that the main idea of your post here? It is a little bit confusing actually so I am encouraging you to post more technical details. I had been with PayPal for many years before shifting to cryptocurrency.

PayPal had some issues which to these days are still unresolved. Maybe because they don't want to get entangled with the government, they became stricter than usual and this resulted into many online marketers leaving PayPal for good.

I am sure though that sooner or later, PayPal would incorporate cryptocurrency into their business model otherwise they would be losing more business value and may just fade away.

Dear iamTom123, Paypal is a huge corporation with huge capital and a lot of customers world wide, if Paypal was interested in cryptocurrencies they could arrange it in one night, its all about market and demand. Only few are in blockchain/bitcoin world actually, there are appox 15 million wallets all over the world, and how many at Paypal ?
The true is that crypto world is running well and adopts local markets and sme agents, tremendous growth will be in case of big corporations are going join us. The second point is that legal bells are loud, risk monitoring and compliance  is a must for every solid business.
It takes time to implement new technologies anyway Smiley.

Take care

Re: ArtByte vs Musicoin

I think it will become a very big thing. With Music platforms it is easy to setup, as both coins have.

And I have seen an ArtByte post where they are developing a 3D Virtual Reality Art Gallery, where artists can display their work for sale, or tips. The post is on their Announce thread.

Both coins have a big future I think.

Art is great when you have masterpieces. Does project run sales in proper way?

Re: Augur - a decentralized prediction market platform

What's the difference between Augur and Stox?

At least people speak a lot more about Stox now. I think I'd rather put money in Stox for now, if I had to choose between two. Augur takes so long to actually develop something. Hmm, let' see, maybe they will work faster since new competitors are here.

thats the key! its takes too long in my opinion for product to be
released which leaves a window for competitors to move in
and steal the limelight and potential investments.

We are seeing this now with SIAcoin and FILEcoin....

Check Wings, probably their product is what are you looking for.

Re: Creating a new exchange

Do you want that exchanger to be widely known or for just a small amount of people. I think for wide audience, you need a lot of money because of so much and popular exchanger exist here.
On exchanger all I am looking for is low fees, optimized website, high speed connection and good support + many coins exchange.

Would you be glad to have all of this features handy IOs/Android?
Do you have example of app the app you are running on daily basis?
What fees may suit you, exactly?

Be honest my friend)

Re: Creating a new exchange
by

I am creating a new bitcoin exchange where people can buy and sell bitcoin. The idea is a place where people can sell their bitcoin to other users and buy from other users.

What do you like in an exchange and what makes you choose one exchange over another?

I need advice and suggestions for things you would like to see in an exchange.

Most of the platforms that I have tried offers USD/Coins only. If you want your exchange to kick ass, try offering some other fiats such as YUAN/COINS, PHP/COINS, USD/COINS, EUR/COINS, and so on... I know that sounds very crazy but you were asking Ideas how to be different from the existing ones, right? With this concept you could attract investors to use your exchange as forex too.

Topic starter should think about

1. Cheap and safe solution for personal use
2. UX is monster either.
3. Mobile first

In case of these 3 points even) he can develop a killer platform at existing market.
Listen what people say about current platforms! There is a huge gap between perfect platform and what we have today.

Take care.

The best way to start project in Negeria, is to incorporate in Singapore, or Switzerland and move there with entire team.
Otherwise only few will send pennies to ico prince.
Negative country image works unfortunately for legal and white hat projects.
Run a poll here to find if the project may have a chance to get funded.

Take care.

Re: search Investor for Next Generation of money: Coincard

Bitcoin and other Coins are worldwide tradeable on "digital way" I have found a way to connect digital coins sensibly with a cash card. On this way its possible to use Coins for "everyone" in real life. You can get the "first" collection & exchange cards here as well as purchase and also license for your own Cards.

Crowd Funding:  https://www.startnext.com/coincard

My idea of an Coincard for usement on "real Market" is NO Paperwallet !
The Coincard has NO private key on it. The Card is programmed with "all needed" Informations for the valued Coins !

Also its not an Debit Card !  Its free of any Institutions ! (no VISA or Master or something like these)

I develop the Cards based on eMark Coin, but its possible to use it with other Coins.

https://steemit.com/deutsch/@svtechnik/002-coincard-enstehung-creation

What you think about ?

As you are looking for investors, there are certain things one would like to know about you before the project. Can you please provide us information about your experience in cryptocurrency and provide sources to successful projects you have implemented before which are making profits? Regarding the 'I have found a way to connect digital coins sensibly with a cash card', and as you say it will not be linked with the existing card providers like VISA or MASTERCARD, will you please explain elaborately on how this will be achieved worldwide?

coreyou, you may have a good idea, but there are rules in real world like

1. VISA/MC bin sponsorship programs with regional compliance issues and bank card delivery. In case you are going to use their networks of course. Other wise do your best to find out how your clients aka users are going to spend their funds both online and offline if only few merchants are going to accept your coin.
2. Business, business, business oriented thinking is a must.
3. Do you a brief marketing research prior asking for funding, if you find a lot of people going to use your product be quite smart don't trust their words and dig deeper in to their past prefs and purchases - ask them if they used similar product, in case of silence change audience.
4. KYC/AML is a must for legal products.
5. Team of skills, development is an ART!

Take care
