I am proud own home somewhere near, asshowle of new of york state Connexicut, U of S An.
But theyre is problem;
Do you, or someone you know, living in the tristate area (NY,CT etc, btc) have bitcoin/scrypt/litecoin mining capabilities? Do you also have interest in putting to use said equipment in my home immediately to take advantage of a rare and yes, you are correct and warranted in gutshot snap calling - "I call, show down hoss." surmising of this situation. Thusly, let me briefly say;
I have always been a litigious man and as a result, have FUCKED THE BANKSTERS where they stand, still, and let's let that suffice at least for the immediate present -
In essence, I am paying nothing ATM and I own a condo that includes everything but plumbing. AHEM, NO ELECTRICITY OVERHEAD IN THE U(owe)S, COUGH COUGH
I am interested in entertaining any and all plausible methodologies towards these ends (I.E. MINING, LIKE, RIGHT NOW WITH NO ELEC OVERHEAD COSTS).
Partnering and or rewarding those parties who satisfactorily (and profitably) put forth actionable plans to most expediently exploit this time sensitive opportunity is the purpose of this post.
I am quite intent on quickly ascertaining the GTO way to play my hand in this reddit. For those of you who are you, the tech savy, finding everything there is to know about me will prove easy enough;

Hey guys, looking to sell my KNC Neptune preorder. Should arrive in Q2 - Q3 of 2014. Once I receive it I will make sure it works then ship it out to you.
I know selling preorders is not reliable but to compensate for that I will refuse to accept bitcoins.
Payment: PayPal [Yes I know you are probably shouting scam, but why wouldn't you accept a currency where both sides are protected], or bitcoin without escrow (Accepted but not reccomended due to no protection)
Would be open to escrow and bitcoin however I cant trust someone to hold money until Q2-Q3 of 2014 plus I need the money to give my computer business a jump-start.

Sorry, I did miss that point on the thread, but have been following the thread on pbmining and whether it is a scam or not.
I don't think all mining-as-a-service companies are scams, but I do think several of them bank on the fact the newbie is not well informed about mining in general. Case in point, the 5 year deal that pbmining offers, what value are gh purchased today going to be worth in 5 years? Most hashing power purchased today declines rapidly in effectiveness towards an ROI. The only way that would change is if difficulty fell, which I don't see happening in the future at all.
So I think companies like pbming are banking on that, raising capital through sales quickly to fund the purchase of more hardware to fund more sales, rinse, and repeat. I don't think that's a sustainable business model. If anything, it's a pyramid model...
There's another thread here where a mining company looks like a ponzi, it sold bonds (LabRat) and then decided to change the payout structure per bond. Do not misconstrue my line of questioning: I appreciate the fact that transparency, compliance, and public perception are easily overlooked necessities in our movement. Especially to a bunch of cryptoanarchic punks who are solely self-sufficient, trustless, open-source etc, btc, etc. I am not one of the latter, I do find it concerning however that this is what a person of your stature in the community chooses to enunciate of all things.
I agree that getting these two new players in TBF is bold moves for bold guys/gal. I'm uncertain whether or not any direction the bitcoin foundation has captained is truly in the greater good's interest..

However, the likely damage in public perception to this class of technology could put it back 5~10 years,
