We are now listed on DDEX.io!

https://ddex.io/trade/BSOV-WETH

For those of you who aren't familiar with BitcoinSoV, heres a quick description.

Website: https://www.btcsov.com/

BitcoinSoV: A Proof of Work Decentralized, Fungible, Censorship Free, Deflationary Currency. Providing any one in the world with a true Store of Value protected from inflation. BitcoinSov is mined using a simple Keccak256 (Sha3) algorithm. There is No ICO, No Pre-mine, and No Governance. This allows for BSoV to be completely decentralized and fairly distributed. With each transfer of BSoV tokens, 1% of the total transaction is burned forever.

Hope this doesn't break community guidelines, I am just a community member sharing an awesome minable ERC20 token with a huge positive outlook.

Happy Mining and Trading!

Hey guys, Wonderous Johnson here,

So here is a tutorial for those wanting to use the $300 google cloud credit to mine in the mining pool. You can also use an instance you are paying for or your own GPU to mine in the pool as well.

Here is a link to my dropbox with screenshots to assist you through the tutorial: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/j77w48jjisaiwew/AACT_v3TTAlnoEAl22dOSE3Ma?dl=0

First, you would need to log into google cloud with a valid gmail account and sign up (with your credit card info) to be given access to the $300 dollar credit. You will have to first upgrade your account when creating your first instance, and you must create an instance first (do not run it) before you are able to request a quota increase.  Under the Quota link located in the sidebar under IAM, you can request a quota increase by selecting GPU (all regions) on the third drop down bar on the screen and you must edit the selection and enter your phone number to send your quota increase request.

Once you have completed this and received a response from google which indicates you have been given approval (keep in mind, the time-frame to be approved can take up to 2 business days, unless you reply to google supports initial email and request an urgent review of the request. Be careful with your urgent request reason, as too many of the same requests may get you an others banned!), you can create an instance with google. I use Windows 2019 server which equates to $1.82/hr, with an Nvidia Tesla v100 GPU. Keep in mind you must select the GPU under a drop-down hyperlink and specify the model and series (it is what I listed in the previous sentence). After you have set the specs of the instance you can launch it.

One the instance is launched, you will need to download the following from these links listed:

https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx (nvidia driver needed to install is Nvidia Tesla V-Series V100)

https://bitbucket.org/LieutenantTofu/cosmic-v3/downloads/ (top selection should be Cosmic v4.1.3, must be most recent version of cosmic, which is v4.1.3) ((SHOUTOUT LT. TOFU FOR THE SICK MINER!!!!!!!))

https://github.com/lwYeo/SoliditySHA3Miner/releases/tag/2.2.2 ( MS .NET core 2.2 x64 runtime ,  MS VC 2017 x64 redistributable,  / these are the hyperlinks you must click in the body of the post, this will not allow me to post the actual links unfortunately).

0x26946adA5eCb57f3A1F91605050Ce45c482C9Eb1 (contract address just so it is on hand for those who need it)

Once you have downloaded the driver, installed it, and the 2 bug fixes are downloaded and installed, extract the files from the cosmic miner, then go into the extracted files, click the application file and hit "RUN As SADMINISTRATOR". (In my experience the application will not launch unless you run as admin). Once you have launched Cosmic, you must hit the options button on the top of the screen and select General setup and enter in your ethereum wallet address to be reimbursed from the miner. You must also enter the mining pool url, which is https://bsov-pool.hashtables.net:8443

Once all the downloads have taken place, and the information is filled out appropriately you should be able to mine without issue by clicking START MINING in the bottom right hand corner.

KEEP IN MIND that all downloads and installations must be completed inside the google instance you have fired up. Once this has been launched and you see the miner interacting with the mining pool, you can search for your mining address in the pool @ this link - https://bsov-pool.hashtables.net/account

I would highly recommend joining the community Telegram, as there are 220+ members, many are active and eager to assist in getting new members into the pool and contributing in whatever way we can.

0x972f76445cfdaac66e507ffbeea2eeef22a1fef7 - Here is my wallet address. If you found this tutorial helpful and feel like donating, I will take all proceeds received from this tutorial and donate them to the community wallet, which supports growth, airdrops, giveaway contests, and pool funding. We recently launched a TIPBOT which is currently running in our Telegram community as well if you would prefer to donate that way!

Please keep in mind this project is new, and while there is plenty of support behind it we need all the support we can get to bring the vision of this project to life. Anyone is welcome to become a part of the growing community and we are always happy to discuss new ways to create outreach and growth.

HAPPY MINING!!!!!!

Re: Collecting multiple ERC20 tokens. Good luck!
by

maybe I'm not lucky, because I participated in the wrong year, where 2018 is a bad year for bounty hunters, many fraudulent projects and different from 2017 which is said to be a favorable year for bounty hunters ...
I joined a social media campaign, I want to share the story that in one year I have collected tokens from the ERC20 platform around 25 tokens from the number of projects that I follow, the following is the list :

1. EPIC- F (EPIC)
2.HUBRIS (HBRS)
3.Saturn (XSAT)
4.FiveBalance (FBN)
5.VantaToken (VNT)
6.Grabity Coin (GBT)
7.AlpRockz (APZ)
8.BlueWorld Token (BNOW)
9.Toqqn (TQN)
10.Lure (LCR)
11.TrueBrym Coin (TGC)
12.Dexage (DXG)
13.Mindsync (MAI)
14.Vault Smart Security (VSS)
15.CustomContractNetwork (CCN)
16.GoWithMi (GMAT)
17.Ammut (XAMM)
18.OOBTC (OBX)
19.MiracleTele (TELE)
20.DABOUNTY (DAA)
21.ISKRA (CCOH)
22.XCRYPT (XCT)
23.Gric Coin (GC)
24. HIGH BANK (HG)
25. mHealthCoin (MHEC)

Just imagine the time I spent in this work even almost every project appeared I always followed, but there were also those who did not pay, ...... and maybe this was not comparable with the expenditure of data that I used in work, but I learned a lot from Here, in terms of projects and interacting in this forum, I start from zero until I get some tokens from this hard work and hopefully this will soon be paid off.

yes, I deliberately collected tokens and waited for the arrival of bullrun Huh
in your opinion if the price of bitcoin really rises like in 2017 or maybe the price of ETH rises, does my tokens also have high selling points? or at least be able to return data expenses so far  Grin?

one problem. you're missing one ERC20 token....

I am considering buy two altcoins, can anyone give some recommendation? I have about $1000 to invest in altcoin.
BNB, Qtum, Tron, Neo, BTG
Why do I mention these crypto types, because it is Chinese crypto, it has a strong community and China is a very strong crypto country.
And BNB is a Chinese trading platform and they will do everything to make it No. 1, and if crypto is political, then the Chinese will surely want to make their coins number 1.
[/quote/]

Tron has a strong community but it is not strong as a cryptocurrency. Out of the mainstream coins, this coin continually disappoints its holders and they are also involved in a lot of scandals and negative press due to lack of transparency.

Re: Dedicating my Life to Bitcoin and Looking to Help Different Projects
by
CC9234
on 13/07/2019, 19:47:33 UTC
I started working in the cryptocurrency space freshmen year of high school and just finished this year. I am currently 17, turning 18 in two months. I decided to take time off before I go to college (if I go), and get more experience in the cryptocurrency field because this is the perfect mix of everything I was interested in as a child. And to be realistic, during high school I was way more interested in working in the space than my classes, especially enjoyed going to conferences.

Currently I am working at a cryptocurrency ATM company, and previously worked for a blockchain consultant firm for an early pioneer of the field.

What I am looking for is new opportunities to bring bitcoin adoption to the world and / or new cryptocurrency related experiences. I am open to helping new startups (for free) or help improve existing startups. I can do a little bit of everything (marketing, business development, networking, coding, etc), but definitely not perfect at one particular thing.

This is not me asking for funds of any sort, though not rich, I am already content with having just enough money to get by as a young adult.

Please reach out if you have any opportunities!

I actually have a question about conferences related to cryptocurrency. Do you know of any in the Tampa, FL area? Or just a list of some in general? Would love to attend one!

Right now by this year, I am positive that Tron and Harmony will do better this year and I just saw them performing really well right now with a lot of progress with the project, this is just my opinion ofcourse Smiley

Used to be a long time believer in Tron. Was involved during the first 2 months of it being listed on binance. It is an extremely sketchy project that leaves a lot to be desired. Be prepared for announcements of announcements. And straight up false information being shared by Justin Sun.

BitcoinSoV is a new Alt coin. It is a minable ERC20 token with no pre-mine or developer distribution. It is completely fair distribution and it is in its early stages. There is about a 21,000,000 total supply with a bit over 1.1 million coins mined already. The mining difficulty is still quite low. It is not listed on any exchanges currently except for ForkDelta. The community is quite large already and growing with over 220 users who have joined the telegram group chat. Essentially similar to 0xbtc, it is a burn token that burns a total of 1% of every transaction which is sent. Over 7,000 coins have already been burned, showing the potential for increased and growing demand. The community is very polite, helpful, and informative, even to people who are new to cryptocurrency and mining, like myself. The admins of the telegram group use the community to help decentralize decision making and other efforts to help the coin grow. We have no been schilling or over advertising the coin to help keep the integrity intact and to help stave off people looking for a quick buck. We want this coin to grow exponentially of course, but we want it to be done the right way with a good community that will keep the overall goal of the coin alive.

Re: US Government vs. Facebook Libra

This entire situation is going to be interesting to follow. Although there seems to be a large void of intelligence and understanding of technology in our current president's administration which will create issues in bringing about a greater understanding to the elected government officials.

Failure to cease implementation before we can do so, risks a new Swiss-based financial system that is too big to fail."

Now this is a weird statement. Grin
Libra won't be a threat to the US dollar because the libra price will be tied to the US dollar price(if the rumors are right about that). However,it's always good to have a constructive discussion about that topic.Zuckerberg will be obligated to reveal his true intentions about this new facebook currency.

Re: BitcoinSoV (BSOV) - Worlds First Mineable & Deflationary Token

Can't wait. As a newb in the mining/crypto space, the community largely helped me establish an instance to mine and contribute to the pool. This coin not only is a solid project, but the people behind it seem to have a lot of integrity and they are always willing to lend a helping hand to someone or even just take on suggestions or concerns and address them outright. I believe that this project has a low ceiling and high floor and it is moving along at a very healthy pace for being a fairly new coin. Also, CZ even speaking the letters "BSOV" during that live stream last night was EPIC!

ERC918 Mining Pool - BitcoinSoV

We will be launching one of our first public projects this week, a mining pool for BitcoinSoV -- A deflationary and mineable Ethereum token!

HashTables was originally interested in the new wave of deflationary tokens when we came across BitcoinSoV which seemed a little different from the rest. After auditing the contract and looking into the concept, we realized that the goals of the project aligned with ours (Decentralized, Fair Distribution, Good Community).

After being a part of the growing BSOV community, we decided to give a hand with the setup and operation of a mining pool. The pool has been tested over the last few days with increased pool & community fees, allowing us to fund the gas for the pool while allowing people with hashing power but no gas to get a share of BitcoinSoV. Funds raised from the public beta are to be used for funding of the pool as well as funding of the community wallet, which is to be used for promotion at our discretion (usually based on community vote).

We are officially launching the HashTables BSOV Mining Pool on Saturday July 13 @ 00:00 UTC (Friday 8PM ET)!

1,000 BSOV will be donated to the miner who finds the first confirmed block after the official start. (According to Etherscan)

(You are welcome to join the pool earlier, but we will be sending transactions at 1gwei and will have [high] variable fees to incentivize solo mining while still possible.)

We are currently supporting it because of its decentralized nature and want to promote a healthier blockchain community as a whole. We support projects that meet our core principals, but we review all support on a continual basis and can pull it at any time.
