Antminer S1s with standard cp2102 usb to TTL serial connections, undervolted, underclocked:

I really like the stack, and 1.2W/GH from that is pretty impressive!

you might find some advantage to run the boards vertically oriented rather than horizontally - it will better force heat upwards and out

the plan is to get all my leftover boards done, and put them vertically into a case, this is just my test bench setup :-p

and we are working to get the watt/GH ratio downward even more :-p

awesome thanks,

im stilling runnin 30+ ants undervolted.

what controller are you using for those s1 boards?

until j4bberwock is finished with the custom controller, im using 1 standard USB to TTL serial, per blade....

sounds great - Im sure 1w/GH can be easily achieved, perhaps even 0.9w/GH - if you reduce the speed of each board to about 50GH with a bit more underclocking.

counter-intuitively, you might actually have better luck underclocking/undervolting if you don't cool it excessively. Its been seen in several different types of ASIC chips (spondoolies and bitfury for sure) that having the board temps above 40C sometimes provides better hashrates and stability then over-cooling the boards <35C

they are already hashing at aprox 50 GHs per board...

ive ordered pot trims of 10k ohm, so that i can get a more precise undervolting than with the pencil mod

Cool! And what hashing speed do you get out of it?

using 305 watt (at wall)

where's the heatsink??? temps??

These have been undervolted and undercooked to the point that the boards act as their own heatsinks with a few fans to help.

Each blade is putting out 50 or so ghs. No idea on temps since this particular setup isn't capable of reading the temp sensor

temp is aprox 50 degrees celcius, but also running in a room temp of 31 celcius

current info: running time - 15 minutes
GHS: 473.69
Watt: 469 at wall

when i start it up several of the blades produce a lot of errors, but it equals out over time...

i will post stats after 6 hours again

It seems your website ( http://vps-keeper.com/ ) is not working. I am trying to open your second website ( If I am not wrong it is your own site). I am getting these error " You are in the Blacklist of Spammers and you cannot continue to the website "

ahh my bad, its without the - so vpskeeper.com - in regards to the error on the other site, it seems the protection system is a bit too agressive, ill have a look on that, but try https://vpskeeper.com

im quite used to compiling the different tokens by now, but im having huge issues with compiling from github, it stops when libmemenv is compiled, no errors, so the question is, how do i compile standard Ingnitiond file?
