World Karate Federation (WKF) was previously WUKO, subordinate to Mr. Jacques Delcourt and International Karate Federation (in the past IAKF) is controlled by Sensei Hidetaka Nishiyama. WKF was awarded as a famous leadership for the sports conducted by the International Olympic board. Hence 1996 Osaka statement helped Karate to join the Olympic club. WKF is the one of the biggest Karate Organization with special rules, recognized by IOC and they are in the search of Karate tournaments in Olympics.

WKF Karate splits into different departments and all these companies are combining to form a non-style, in particular sports like Karate organizations. Some of the best examples of the sports organizations and that can include ITKF, WKF, WFF, WUKF, and WPKC. Thus, an organization conducts tournaments from national to international level. Games are created to combine all the players with each other in kata, to contest and in weapons presentation. Based on their standard rules Players are divided by factors such as age, rank, and gender. Therefore, these tournaments are restricted to the players in a unique manner or whoever wants to follow the rules of the tournament.
