TP, SL, trailing)

Re: Would you do KYC for a bounty hunt?
by
CRYPTOWOLF_BOT
on 15/06/2018, 07:39:34 UTC
I am a bit scared that  some ICOs and recently a well-known bounty management group have decided to ask for KYC for bounty hunters. For me, that puts me on the spot of choosing if I want to risk to send my documents on line for not much money or just decide that I should not do any bounty.

The worst thing is that sometimes the KYC is asked after the promotion is done. For me that is just blackmail. What would you say if I agree with you to pay you 300$ to paint my fence and once you finish I decide that I will only pay you if you give me your address, copies of your documents and a picture of your wife or husband.

You're making a valid point with the fence painting analogy. Privacy has always been paramount for me, and the KYC for bounty hunters being a mandatory part of an ICO must be highlighted in bold (and probably some neon color Smiley) on the front page of the respective Internet page, be it a website or a dedicated thread on here.
I would be enraged if I had to deal with it upon completion of my required tasks.
The solution to this is to inquire the bounty management before you start anything.

Re: Who can award merits?
by
CRYPTOWOLF_BOT
on 14/06/2018, 11:55:14 UTC
People who have merits are the only ones who can give you some. For every merits that they have they receive half of it. Example: I was given 20 merits by different people, therefore I have 10 sMerits by now. sMerits means they are the merits that you can give to other users that posts are quite helpful. For every merits that they give you, you receive half of it. (1 sent merit to you = 0.5sMerit for you). But there's no easy way of getting it. You should always be active in the forum and have some useful posts. You should not worry about getting merits for now and just be consistent being active and posting.

Thanks! I'm pretty clear about merits and smerits now. May I ask, u mentioned u received 20 merits, but why does your account show only 10 merits? This is still confusing to me. Is there a delay when u are issued merits for it to be displayed on your profile?

I figure, Natural Perm was giving an illustration of how the system works. This is not their actual situation. In short, you receive 4 merits for a post, and they will be displayed for everyone to see. Plus you get 2 spendable merits which YOU can use to credit to other posts you deem useful. Smerits are not displayed under your profile picture next to your posts.

Re: The Bitcoins Earning Guide for poor countries

For me the interesting question is if per capita income is less than $5/day how much of that cost would go towards a person acquiring access to a computer to make money and access these faucets.
That said your right in countries with a very low GDP faucets and services may be worth their time if they can overcome the language barrier which is implied for a sig campaign.

I've always wondered how it is even possible to purchase a computer for a person surviving on $5 a day. Perhaps one doesn't have to own a computer to access the Internet, but as you said, it must cost something after all.

I couldn't understand why i kept being a "noob" ..lol,, Finally i googled it... duh..
Hehe Smiley For anyone who also can't figure out what noob actually means, here's one concise definition.
Noob : a person who is inexperienced in a particular sphere or activity, especially computing or the use of the Internet.

Keep browsing this forum, folks, ask around and you'll get out of that league in no time!

As for meeting for trades in public, it might have consequences in countries where cryptocurrencies are not in favor of the government. Having said that, a lot of decent sellers would probably choose to meet one on one in a less crowded area in order to avoid the attention of the police.

Re: Чего ждать в 2018?
by

Re: How to manage the risk in investing cryptocurrency?
by

In order to invest wisely, you need to do a ton of research on whatever you're buying in. And there's one important thing to keep in mind - don't bet everything on a single project/coin. Diversify your portfolio. Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.

Re: I almost lost my rock solid regular job because of crypto
by
CRYPTOWOLF_BOT

I almost lost it [my job] because i spent so much time learning about everything crypto (mining, trading, bounties, etc.).

Switching to another way of making your living must be done with caution. I would never give up a job that completely covers my bills for something so risky as trading/mining cryptocurrency. It's another thing when you are a trader by profession, and it's your main source of income. Heavy losses are not so bitter, if you make a mistake in the market, because you only invest what you can afford to lose.

Re: Would you donate BTC to help fund a project you believe in?
by
CRYPTOWOLF_BOT
on 02/06/2018, 16:39:09 UTC
Instead of running an ico and giving out worthless tokens, what if an open sourced project ran completely on donations from the community. Would you donate if you believed in it and felt it was needed in the crypto space?

Even small donations like .00001 BTC or .01 ETH

You see, there's a big difference between donation and investment. The whole point in participating in an ICO is the possible return on the funds you're putting in the project which makes it very appealing. When you buy in an idea because you truly believe in its usefulness, then it's a win-win situation. So what good is donating, if you can't make money off of it?

Re: Will crypto replace fiat money?
by
CRYPTOWOLF_BOT
on 31/05/2018, 08:10:01 UTC
I would like to know if cryptocurrency will replace fiat money in the future,  also if so how long it will likely take.  Also,  I would like to know which coin you think would take over if one will.  (E.G. Dogecoin,  BTG, LTC, XMR)

It is said the blockchain technology is quite convenient and fits perfectly in the world of finance. So I'd say there's a good chance one day our traditional money will be replaced by some other form of money based on blockchain or something that will have evolved from it by then.
All we can do now is speculation, though, because it's not really up to us to decide on the future. Many governments are hesitant to accept it, so I wouldn't be too positive to expect any major financial revolution to happen very soon.

Re: Importance of meditation

The meditation thing has always interested me, really. When I think of it, what comes to my mind first is Qui-Gon Jinn from Star Wars Smiley
But I'm totally ignorant about it. It seems so easy from a spectator's point of view, but I've heard the techniques are actually quite tricky, and you can't just drop to the floor, close you eyes and start envisioning all sorts of lovely images and sounds of nature to do it properly. It's not what's called meditation. So I'm looking forward to take a course this summer.
