Save money and invest money. Two things that each has its own advantages and disadvantages. To choose between them should be based on our needs. For me currently requires funds for my future so I will choose to invest

That is right. But it also depends on the age. For the young people, it is better to invest.

If you don't like to risk then you just need to save it, it is depend on us if we don't want to experience losing a money. But if you want to risk just to earn huge money then invest it.
There is no future in saving money because it is not like investment that will make your money grow to a higher amount in a short period because saving is just adding money to your account or savings account and it is not growing based on the interest because you are working for money which is wrong because the people who got money and invest it believes that money should work for us.

Life is risk, whether you take risk or not youre still on a risk that your future might not be good not unless you prepared for it now, Saving is really not ideal for long term goals because the value of your cash in a bank becomes undervalue because of inflation every year. Invest your money and let your money works for you.
Yes it is true to save money in the bank in the long term is not good because it will drain our money little by little. Investing money can make our money grow and avoid inflation, this will make a profit in the future. While investing is risky but we can minimize the risk so it is safe, so as you say life is risky and we must dare to take that risk to be successful.

That is right. I save money most of the time and will save for the retirement.

In life many things are unpredictable, for example there is a need for a spur of the moment because we are sick so we have to be thoughtful to divide money, advice I was 50% for saving and 50% for investment.
50% is a lot for investing. because in most cases specially in crypto. the chance of getting lost is very high. so I would prefer using 10% to 25% of my earning to invest back in crypto.

It depends. If you buy the good coins. You will lose very little.

Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?

Whenever, saving money in all aspect was always a good idea, no doubt about it. If you want to make profitable your money it is much better to do Invest into something that you can roll your capital in the business you think it will benefits you. like example if you invest some of your bitcoin into it, surely it will have profit in the near future, or you can do trade in the trading exchange platform.

Yeah, indeed investment is the best way to save money. Because in addition to the benefit, we can still get money back aka we get a lot of money after the time we wanted to save money. But, keep in mind that not all the investment service provider has the same comfort and keaman, because they are sometimes just a fraud and just want to get an advantage. Invests in the right way and there is no need to invest in ways that are extreme or just look at the promises given. Sometimes the promise of far different from reality given > >!!

For bitcoin, you can just hold it.

Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?

Question which can have different answers. Because if you find way to invest them which are safe and in which you can earn more than leaving your money at the bank for sure that is better to invest. But having in mind than the key word "safe" is never sure remain to be decided as you think may be the best choice according to you.
If you are looking for the safest form of investment even i would suggest depositing it in a bank and can have a marginal profit and the risk factor even while depositing in banks is that if the bank closes down as we have seen during the economic meltdown you are bound to lose your money. So every form of investments have their own risk ,so be smart when it comes to money.
Yeah saving in a bank probably would be the safest form if you're choosing a bank that's already reputable and firmly stable. Though, the money you'll place there would basically be for emergency purposes only as it has a very small growth. And there's also the chance of the bank closing for whatever reason. Let's be serious, even big banks are not prone to this. So for me, since there are risks whether we like it or not, investing is better as it will give your money the highest chances of earning. It' just important that we know all the information needed about where we'll place our investments. You have to have guts and proper research when investing.
I would not say the safest form of investment is a bank, because it is not even called investment it is called saving. That is why when you are creating an account in a bank they are called savings account. You really don't earn anything in a bank because the interest that banks give you are not greater than the inflation therefore you are losing your money's value while it is inside a bank.

For the bitcoin, it is applicable as the price will rise even if you save it in a bank without any interest.

Now it is very popular these types of investments such as gold or real estate. Real estate is even better than the first. Of course there are times when you can invest and receive bitcoin bitcoin, too, but it is important to have good favorable conditions.
I know investing will give you an advantage. there are plenty of existing investments and can you use. but it is better if you also have a plan to save money anyway
investment will grow your money and save your money will accumulate more

I agree, doing the both thing is the best to do. If you invest all your money it will be difficult if something unpredictable happens and you have no savings. But if you just save all your money without having some investments then you will only have few momey when you stop working.
To be safe, only invest a certain portion from your savings or what you can afford to lose. That means you have no privilege to invest if you do not have savings, and your first step is to teach your self how to save. It's an accomplishment if you were able to succeed in savings, and everything will went smooth as plan as you have gain discipline already.
It's really important to have savings first and invest some of it. Bitcoins is one of the key to help you make a savings and investment.. once you succeed in bitcoins and make atleast a good money from it use some of it to invest in like in gold or real estate.
I agree with that. probably would be better, if we save bitcoin, and invest some, because then, you can earn money and save bitcoin that you get as an investment in the long term. you will feel a huge advantage, if bitcoin prices rise, and I am sure it will happen.

That is right if the price rises in the long term.

It is important to invest, when the investment has great potential. But I think it is a good decision to also have reserves, because you may it need in the future and this can make a difference.
I think if in order to choose which one is an important advance of investing or saving both are equally important. but the most important thing of course is to save because you can become rich store of income that you get. investment is only as a sideline. you can still become rich even without investment

I am yet to see a rich person without his own business, those are investments. If you are just waiting to be rich because of savings from your job, then it will take a long time. And when you stopped working, your savings will easily be spent. While investments earn money even if you are not working. If you have big enough investment, you can comfortably live without working.

Yah, if you wanna a better life or want to become rich you should invest money.Otherwise, you can become rich.Because your Saving money will vanish one day if you don't increase it.

I think the bitcoin is the best investment. In the price, the price doubled every year on average. The trend might continue.

Crypto is Not Politics

That's like saying consensus has nothing to do with consensus. Luckily there is also the market which has its own way of voting on things.

Yes. It is all economics (game theory) after all. The key is that is becomes very impractical to move for such a vote, just as due to Hash equilibrium it is not practical for the nodes to gang up and 51% attack.

The Ethereum miners are preparing for a 51% attack on the block chain, to for it. Maybe 75% of the miners will attend.

The Gemini exchange will also add the Ethereum to its trading range. It is a proper exchange based in NewYork.

The Etereum price rose this week. That might have something to do with the list in the Gemini exchange.

you could be a genius... but many have tried and failed to be the coin that wasn't a ponzi..... I think your holding faith will be tested.... as will my skepticism.

My guess is that ETH isn't even close to a scalable global crypto.... it will ponzi bubble and then maintain some price somewhere near its utility as a non-currency....

vitalik and vlad have both admitted they don't actually know how to scale it.  it's still a "research project".  scaling it (according to the technobabble they've been spewing about how they think they'll do it) would violate the cap theorem.  you know why they're leaving the scaling to the last part of the coding process? cuz they can't do it.  oh ya and it has zero use cases and most dapps are abandoned.

Yeah... but you don't need anything real to be worth a billion dollars apparently.

It will be real in a few months.

The only 2 Bitcoin wallets that I use are my trezor wallet and my coinbase wallet. I keep most in my trezor, and a small amount in my coinbase wallet.

Do you think these are safe wallets. Is it OK to let others control your money? I hold the coins in the Core wallets.

I only use the Core wallet. It can serve all the purpose and I don't make too many transactions. I let it connect to the network most of the time.

Re: How do you earn a lot of free bitcoins fast?

Gambling is the key to your answer as I don't see any other alternative to earn bitcoins fast, and if you have a good strategy and if you know on which you are betting then you can surely make some money at the end of the day If I have to earn bitcoins fast then I would surely go for gambling.

gambling is not profitable, besides its risky to try one, luck is always a factor either you'll win or not.. perhaps trying other alternative earnings here in the site is good, but not fast.. Smiley

I believe trading bitcoin does not require any luck and it is a fast way of making big profits. But you need some big investments to get started with bitcoin trading.

Yeah, trading, but you gotta start with a larger amount when you want to try it... but its worth it..and its not so tiring...

The problem is that most of us do not understand the price action of bitcoin. It can be manipulated easily. Trading is negative sum game. It is losing game for most people.

It is better just to hold it.

I think it's safer to have some bticoins spread out rather than have it all in 1 wallet, that's for online use of course.

We shall save most of our coins in the offline wallet. We can put small amout of coins in the online wallet for daily usage.

Do you keep most of your bitcoins on a paper wallet or everything is stored on your computer?

I store my bitcoin in the core wallet. I have multiple copies of the file in many places with encryption.

"According to publicly available data, there are now over 10 million bitcoin wallets. Perhaps the most informative statistic of all is the transaction volume: the number of transactions has also grown impressively, from roughly 80,000 a day to more than 200,000 without showing any signs of slowing."

I have several wallets. So wallets is not equal to users. If he can give every Skype user 0.001 bitcoin, he might make 100M users of  bitcoin.

I will just work hard and get paid in fiat, then convert the fiat to bitcoin. I will hold most of the coins.
