I'd like to thank everyone in the community for their extreme understanding over the last few weeks. In early May I was affected by a stock shortage and increasing supply delays. Many folks stood by me with unfathomable patience while I kept as many as I could up to date in the interim.

In the wake of this I've disabled "Pre-Ordering" on all future orders, so if you see it in stock in the store, it will be ready to go out within 1-2 business days. Currently we do have some extra x16 w/ Molex; and PSU Adapter cables available in-stock.

All orders are now shipped and tracking updates should be posting. If you have a question or issue, or if anything has been missed, please PM or e-mail me directly at sales@cablesaurus.com.

Thanks again for your support!

I'm also interested on PCI-E 1x -> 1x risers with molex power connector. Doesn't matter if the slot is filed to accept 16x GPU because I can also do that easily.

Btw, is it enough to use only one powered riser per mobo thus meaning the power will be distributed to the rest of PCI-E bus by mobo or should I use all powered risers?
My config would be 2 X 16x risers + 2 X 1x risers, totaling 4 GPUs.

What is the actual limit on how many high-end (7970) GPUs should I use on one mobo without powered risers?

You should use a powered riser on each high end GPU. On systems were you're running older cards, aim to use powered risers once you get past 3 cards.

1x > 1x PCI-E cables, but with the data-side filed off to be open-ended to allow plugging in cards wider than 1x, such as graphics cards. They are electrically the same as 1x > 16x but cheaper and much easier to plug into a graphics card.
PCI-E to PCI-E power plug splitters, such as this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812198018
Lower prices.

I'll have to dig out the dremel & dust mask again and see if that can be taken into account. The manually modified cables were more versatile, if a bit ugly and messy.

Thanks for the advice Smiley

This thread is all hype. I to, wish and pray that Bitcoin may one day reach 10,000$ a coin, but lets be realistic. It can as easily fail from another superior cryptography as much as it may succeed.

Burn the Heretic!

*Dusts off the ole' thread*

Hello everyone! Just wanted to pop in to mention our site, but more importantly I'm in need of some feedback from you guys.

Is there anything specific miners might like to see added to www.Cablesaurus.com? Any ideas are welcome, especially for items you all may be using already but might be having a hard time getting delivered on time. We still ship everything as fast as possible direct from the USA. We'd like to get a handle on what's missing that you'd like to see in the shop.

Historically I've carried PSU splitter cables, GPU dummy plugs, and various PCI extenders. However I've ran out of stock on several items recently, and thought it would be best to pan for ideas for what gear you guys think would be most utilized in today's Bitcoin landscape.

Any and all suggestions are welcome!

Endless thanks for the fantastic support we have received from the community over the last two years everyone, it's been a true blessing.

what's your shipping costs to germany?
thx

Shipping is actually calculated automatically at the time of checkout, or prior to checkout while in your cart.

All FPGAs are shipped Express via USPS from Virginia, USA (Zip Code 22827.) Depending on the package size if ordering other supplies as well, this could vary greatly so it's hard to be more specific. You can calculate automatically from the site though to double check!

I'll be posting a new link on the site, to avoid confusion with any old links, once we're ready to roll.

Do you have 1x extenders with molex adapters?  http://cablesaurus.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=28&zenid=4ju314m34i9oer1ua0i3ljn1e0 appears to be the link, but it is dead.

I assume they can accommodate a 16x card?

Hi there we sure do. There is the updated link, I'll get that corrected in this thread. Thanks for your message.

We're working as hard as we can to get more FPGAs in stock for those checking in!

We're hoping to be on schedule for about a 2, maybe 3 week time frame.

Also check out the new shopping cart setup at www.cablesaurus.com - we've been working to make the navigating experience a lot easier and hope it works smoothly for everyone.
