I fully agree with your opinion, indeed most of the bounty hunters only want something that is instantaneous, without considering that thinking about the rules, there are so many bounty hunters who do post spam just to reap huge profits for themselves.
You've got to be joking, posting something like the above when your history on bitcointalk consists of garbage shitposts like these:

yes, hopefully bitcoin will never reach 4000 but it will soon rise to a maximum in November, because we have been in a state that has been too bad as it is today, many have suffered huge losses due to the very market conditions. let us pray together, beautiful things will come soon.
Regardless of the truth, of course, for us actors in the crypto world, we hope that the future of Dary Crypto is good. moreover, many depend on the crypto world for their daily needs or to realize their dreams.
I certainly expect ethereum to recover and return to a very high price. I feel sad if ethereum is very low because if we see the majority of ICOs still use ethereum patform, then ethereum should be priced high and I am sure it will come soon.
I'm also very sad, ethereum the price is now very low. I hope that later ethereum can recover and its position in coinmarketcap will no longer shift, remain under bitcoin, which is number 2, we need more patienly and wait for huge price next moon

....and many, many more.  By the way, where have you been since Oct. 16, 2018, which is when your last post was and why is this your first post in Meta?  Are you fishing for merits by writing things you think merit sources want to hear.

On a related note, can anyone translate this post for me:

Well, they should consider second chances for those accounts that has been banned and give them some warning I guess they've worked hard for it just to earn merit and in my own opinion, I think it's totally unfair for them. It's totally worst by now because of the merit system and it is not that easy as it was before and you can't even share some information or links easily without any consent/authorized by any community manager.

Do you not feel they have not had ample opportunity to read the Meta section here? There are multiple threads weekly on this very subject. It takes all of 2 seconds for them to click the Meta button and read a few of the thread titles and see what is not acceptable here.

On top of this you say they worked hard to "earn" their merit? If they were being deceitful about their posting habits, do you think that some of them didn't buy their merit?

The merit system makes this forum better honestly. Now users have to put real effort into their thoughts that they post in order to get the merit rewards from other users. Yes, the days of easy money are gone for the bounty hunters who came here to earn a living. We are not against these users at all. If they want to earn some money that's perfectly fine, but do it without posting a load of trash all over the forum. Do it without buying merits, accounts, copying others work, or being dishonest.

Basically its a sink or swim system. You're not gonna hop on here and just magically be a Hero member in the next 1.5 years without putting in the effort. If you do put in the work and rank up honestly as well as earn your merit honestly, you gain a sense of pride on this forum. You might also start gaining some respect from what most of you consider your seniors of the forum.

I fully agree with your opinion, indeed most of the bounty hunters only want something that is instantaneous, without considering that thinking about the rules, there are so many bounty hunters who do post spam just to reap huge profits for themselves.

Besides, there are also many forum members who just copy and paste content just to expect to get merit, this is really crazy. they want to be respected but not based on the work they make but on the plagiarism of the work of others. and this really needs to be eradicated from this forum so that this forum will develop.

it's actually simple to be a good member and at least support the development of this forum. by obeying the existing rules and not breaking them, we will be safe and not banned.

I agree with the KYC system. In my opinion, there is no perfect solution to that. On one hand, implementing KYC removes scammers completely and gives bigger rewards to honest hunters only. But on the other hand, gathering personal information is a big issue. Especially if the project is shady and could sell that info anytime on the black market (happened before). It is also not what cryptocurrency stands for, it should be anonymous, at least to some extent. Doing KYC for 100$ reward doesn't sound like a good idea for me, especially because hunters are not investors, so you don't need to check on the AML laws here. I can think about two solutions. First is to find a system, which is robust enough to remove scammers without gathering too much personal info. The second is mandatory KYC for ALL campaigns with ONE most trusted provider. You do it once and apply it to a new campaign. Much like how the system on bounty0x platform works.

At first, I was just an Airdroper, but when I tried to become a bounty hunter and participated in several projects, I was able to get 10x of my results in following Airdrop. many good bounties, you just have to choose it https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0

I also think this is still a good time to invest, seeing the current prices there is still a possibility to be able to go back up. especially if indeed the ETF has been approved, of course the market will recover soon and you are ready to profit.

I can only advise you not to panic. you have already lost. Your main goal of buying cardano is of course you hope that you can get a profit right? if your goal is like that stay focused on your goals, be patient and sell cardano when you feel profit.

I was really worried, but I remained patient and tried not to panic. I tried to accept this situation properly, because this has all become the risk. and now I can only hope that prices can recover immediately.

Looking at the charts it still seems likely BTC will still fall well below 6000. Are you optimistics for a turn around in perhaps October or November?
I think it may be more like December or January. BTC may test 4000 before the bulls come back.
I hope you're wrong!!!

How long on average it takes for the ICO projects to redistribute the tokens a person who has contributes to their Bounty campaigns?

Personally I got very late always (From 1-2 months), is it suppose to be like that?
Every bounty management team had the rules on how they or how long they can distributed the entire rewards for the bounty participants who accomplished their bounty tasks. They can't immediately distribute it because they will still calculate the stakes made by the bounty hunters. I think 1-3 months wait before receiving is better as long as we will still get paid.
Yes, I agree with you. we have to be patient and re-check the rules in the bounty because there are usually 3-month distribution. as I recently experienced in the arcona bounty. keep calm and be patient.

Re: How to Choose a Good ICO
by
Cahyono putro negoro
on 14/09/2018, 18:31:34 UTC
Hi guys, there are so many ICOs, such as those listed in https://www.coinschedule.com. It's pretty hard to review them one by one.

Which elements I need to consider, the team? the product? the promoting technology? or something else?

Thanks for any suggestions Smiley
some of the things I consider in choosing an ICO are:
1. study their whitepaper to find out the purpose and background of the project.
2. a good team, in the sense that the project is pioneered by a team that is clearly personal, clear in its footsteps, clear in background, and also experienced.
3. Transparent, in the sense of always publishing project developments through social media or the official website, so that investors can find out the progress of the project being followed.
4. use third party assistance. in this case I use a review website like icobench, trackico, and also foundico.

Hello guys I just received my first bounty rewards which is dacc tokens worth 10$ I'm happy today. Share your experience of first bounty rewards too.

Edit: I'm happy because I received my first reward not for that 10$. I know 10$ is littile amount still I'm happy because this is my first bounty reward.
I am happy for your achievements that managed to get a 10 USD bounty reward, but I think it's still very little, you can still potentially get more than that, I personally have got 500 USD from the bounty. hopefully it can inspire you to be more excited.

One of my friend gave me a list that he consider when selecting an ICO. Here those are.

- check about tokenmetrics and the marketcap/hardcap
- check the team and advisors(whether they are having any blockchain expertise and exposure)
- check the community strength and marketing plan
- check the status of the product prototype (alpha, beta, showcase, etc.) and road map.
- check the status of influencers (Not paid shillers)
- check the communication strengths and transparency
- check whether the application is a viable one without ambitious claims
- check the whitepapaer well structured and written
- check the eco system and status of investors
- check whether the project really needs a cryptocurrency as a driving fuel.
- etc.

I hope this will help you  Smiley
is great reply from you. Big thank's for your sugestion, hopefully this will helping to the new investor in crypto world and make everyone to be success in this crypto world

I think that in 2019 ICO will be still alive, ICO investors will be smarter and only join good ICO. No more lands for bad and scam ICO. 2018 is not a good year for investors because most of token dumped below ICO price. Do you think 2019 is a good year for ICO and all tokens pump after ICO like it was in 2017?
hopefully. ICO is very necessary before crypto they enter the trading market to attract investors who will help develop the project. Hopefully we don't need to wait in 2019 for high prices, but it's enough until November and December 2018 the prices have gone up high

Re: Do you trust ICO Rating sites?

Cahyono putro negoro
on 09/09/2018, 23:35:52 UTC
Many have to be considered if you want to invest in ICO, rating on the Website is only one of them, the most important is the team and WP of the project. check the authenticity of the 2 things
I agree with you, the rating website is only as a complement not the only step taken to choose a project. study WP and see the progress of their projects through their social media activities

Hello, i am newbie and want to know how i could check projects if they are good or bad, is there ways to know about that?
the most important thing to assess a good project or not is related to transparency. transparency is the principal capital that a project must have to convince investors. then I checked whether the team from them was real or fake and the last was srlalu monitoring their social media activities to get the latest development of their projects

Re: September 30th ETF decision + when to buy

I have 2 Bitcoin and know we have great prices right now (even though we are over 7k) and I would like to buy into my favorite Alt coin however I'm nervous there will be some sort of drama  surrounding the September 30th decision regarding the ETF.

How would you guys buy in?  All in now?  Half now half later?  I'm stuck and not sure how to proceed.
I think not buying everything is the best step, hopefully you have done that. get used to a little profit but sustainable than the ambition of wanting to get a big profit but the end of the loss. so in my opinion invest only half of it.

How much time do you spend on bounty campaigns?

Is it worth doing bounty campaigns?

How much can you make from one bounty campaigns?

I always use a bitcointalk forum every day, to bounty myself I usually spend 2-3 hours a day. I was very inspired by people who get a lot of rewards from the bounty campaign but whatever the power of the member status also affects and I'm just jr.member.
