So ETH is going to use sharding to increase transaction speed?

There are off chain solutions and on chain solutions, sharding is an on chain one, which is the better one right now, with off chain solutions you have to trust third parties

Can ETH adopt the RootStock solution?

I am holding Zcash since 150 USD. Will not sell a single slice under 1k USD.

Pump it Bary. ;-)

There is no need to pump. The price will rise gradually.

I really did not expect such a rise.
This pump is insane!

It could be caused by big capital flow into BCH.

I've been claiming free Bitcoin & I believe Bitcoin will reach $500,000 by 2030.

The market capital for all Cryptocurrencies rose from 6 billion in January to over 100 Billion in June. It's becoming more adopted by the mainstream year on year. As more interest comes along, there is a higher chance of cryptocurrencies reaching the 1 trillion mark in market capital. To newcomers, market capital is the total amount of USD/EURO and other currencies which are invested into Bitcoin & other Cryptocoins. Bitcoin tends to hold around half of this value but this could change.
...

Get your facts strait. At the beginning of the year, the crypto market was ~17 Billion not 6.

The total market cap is about $80 billion now. So that is almost 5 times increase.

LOL! Don't be ambitious that Zcash will be go up to $1,000 look on how did bitcoin did had hard time to pump and go up to $1,000 and as of now it is still fighting for it's stability. But well maybe if Roger will be dumping his BTU and will go to manipulate Zcash maybe this is possible though he has his own interest and others too.

I think the ZEC cannot be dumped if there is no major bad news.

Not one of existing coins will not cost more than Bitcoin long time.

It depends on the number of coins in existence. When there was only a few hundred ZEC, they are 1000 bitcoin each.

Is ZEC more profitable than ETH?

It depends on your cards. If that is the newer cards like the AMD 470/480, it is more profitable to mine the ETH. If that is 7970, it is better to mine ZEC.

Confirmed 280x  Total Speed: 50.821 H/s, Total Shares: 24, Rejected: 0, Time: 00:02
ZEC: GPU0 50.821 H/s

That is very good speed. It seems that the 280x speed is just 20% lower than the AMD R9 390 now.

My geth old version did not work in the last month. But the latest geth.exe is working well at present.

Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin?

I already compute my salary and my income on bitcoin world and it has a big difference between my monthly salary and bitcoin in my salary i get 30,000 Thousand a Month or 625 Dollars a month and thats big amount for me so support my family and my self also and in bitcoin my earnings there are not enough bitcoin is just addition to my monthly salary.

That is a good salary and if you are earning that amount then its better to continue with it and keeping bitcoin as an extra income will increase the level of your monthly income.
Thats true i have a good salary in my job and i will never quit my job because of bitcoin if the bitcoin give me lots more than i get in my salary then i will and i will find a sideline too to make more profit and help my family.
Not a lot of people today can earn their living with bitcoin, especially if you live in a first world country, but to use bitcoin as a part time job and side income is great since you don’t have schedules and you can work as much as you like.

It is true. The bitcoin is still a small industry. The infrastructure is still being built. It will take many years.

Vitalik pumping in Shanghai is barely raising the price, ethf is dead.

The price of the Ethereum has risen 10% in the last week. I think it is a good price action. Anything larger is a bubble.

Buy support is terrible for a coin with this size market cap is this the end of the good times?

Did you say that when Bitcoin's dollar price dropped 22% in the last 8 weeks?

Yet, you come onto this ANN posting nonsense about ETH!

Prices of crypto's go up and down and up!

That is right. The bitocin price rose 5.6% in the last 24 hours. The price of digital currency is volatile. Ethereum is not an exception.

What a delusional bunch in here...sure..violate the blockchain ok...oh you want a 60 million $ pre-mine, sure...your thieves too, great..lemme just get your btc address real quick,  oh that's right you are the ones who want transactions to be forked away. Nevermind, what you need is a pencil and paper.

You need to do more research and you've not read the ANNs previous posts either Cheesy

60 million ETH was sold too raise the original seed money to build this new network.

Sep 2, 2014

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_highest_funded_crowdfunding_projects

Ethereum Network, is the 9th largest crowdfunded project to date.

$18,4 million - this was principally raised in BTC. This was sold off, to purchase hardware, hire coders and fine tune the implementation of software.

When the BTC was converted into cash - just prior to it cash conversion, BTC price cash value crashed to $220 (suspicious)!

This left the original project with a $9 million shortfall; on original costings.

Strangely, as soon as the conversion of BTC to cash had finished, the BTC price jumped up to $300 (suspicious)!

That is problem with funding really huge projects in BTC, the traders in BTC collapse the Cash (like dollars) price to fatten their profit margins and then push it back up afterwards.

Another, thing that has given BTC a very poor reputation with non-crypto entrepreneurs and businesses.

Ironically, that original BTC hit a high in July 2016 of $65 million, yelp, that crypto-currencies for you.

Fortunately, for those who crowdfunded the Ethereum Network - the new network is blistering fast and is widely acknowledged to be a success!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is the actual period 2015 too early 2016, when the Ethereum Foundation was trying to raise extra funding by approaching non-crypto businesses.

Vitalik Buterin, Gavin Wood, Jeffrey Wilcke, Anthony Di Iorio, Mihai Alisie, Joseph Lubin, Stephan Tual.

The people behind ETC have used this too mislead everyone - they have lied and called this period as a sell out for the developers' personal gain. This is a lie, because it is a published fact, that the dollar conversion of BTC left a $9 million shortfall in the original budget for the Ethereum Network.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In the end, the Ethereum Foundation sold off, a large part of its 12 million development fund - to raise the additional $9 million to fully fund the project according to the original costings.

This was reason, why the ETH price was not higher during the last quarter of 2015 and the 1st quarter of 2016.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The original crowdfunding for seedfunding the Ethereum Network was not just too private investors, but actual crypto businesses:

"Wanxiang representatives confirmed Blockchain Labs recently purchased $500,000 worth of ETH as part of its wider effort to support the technology."

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As most people can see: ETC lies delete the published facts and replace them with fantasies!

60 million ETH was spent to raise the funds for the development of the the Ethereum.

It is a very necessary for the further development of the Ethereum.

The ETC can also learn from the coding by the ETH developers.

But I heard that the ETC will be independent will employ its own coders.

The price of British Sterling has already risen from 1.30 dollar. I think the long price could be around the current level depending on the trade balance.
