The major update, due to be released on February 13, 2018, will shift WildSpark from an extension into a full web-app. It will provide an extensive enhancement to WildSpark’s core capabilities, with a multitude of new and powerful features:

- Threaded commenting system for each piece of content, with in-browser notifications facilitating an ongoing discussion
- Support for content from various platforms in addition to YouTube, including text, music, images, and GIFs
- Amplifying content, with the recipients getting AMPs, using any currency – crypto, and fiat;
- Creating personal profiles, building a unique WildSpark identity
- Earning rewards for referring people to sign up and use WildSpark.

With the site becoming fully-featured, the extension still remains the closest touch point to the web – allowing easy Amplification right after viewing the content you like, providing notifications on the extension bar, and giving access to other simple operations without having to visit WildSpark HQ.



The web-app should work on any web browser, desktop computer, or mobile device.
The extension will remain Chrome exclusive for the time being.

The Wildspark Balance is designed as an internal service, and we suggest not to use it as a wallet, primarily since it doesn't provide access to its private keys. It's advised to keep there only the sums needed for Amplifying appreciated content, similarly to the money you'd take with you as you go out shopping.



The project is under constant development and will go mainstream on February the 13th.

WildSpark is gradually gaining more attention, a trend which is expected to further accelerate as the product's development approach the mainstream viability milestone with the February update.

Your call for greater hype, more PR and advertisement of the project are all in place - it's just that marketing moves should never be random, and timing is key for maximizing impact.

All of these things and more await us in the very near future (if not today), and we see this community as our partners in promoting both WildSpark and the Liberated Attention Economy we aim to create.

I think it's quite likely that the exponential transformation we're witnessing all over the web will mean that the time required for mainstream adoption may be much shorter than expected. With the growing understanding of decentralization benefits and the grave problems rooted in the intermediation of content distribution, there's an accelerating trend of direct compensation for creators and curators. Patreon's success is an encouraging example of this concept's viability.

WildSpark, with its mature version scheduled to be released in February, has a great potential to conquer the "casual Amplification" niche. It'll be unique in its ability to reward and promote *any* content on *any* platform, without necessitating any strings attached to a particular creator; just hit the AMP button whenever you spot quality content.

The winds are shifting on the world wide web, and our sails are wide open to catch that drift, propelling the Liberated Attention Economy forward.

Although WildSpark has an element of earning monetary rewards for curation, its explicit purpose is to let people support content creators directly while helping others discover their work, in a fair, free manner. Amplification of content is a token of appreciation that makes it more likely that the creator will be able to provide more great content in the future as well.

Curation is indeed a thing of value, which in some cases may yield considerable profits, yet it's best not to view WildSpark as a business opportunity. WildSpark is a first step in establishing a Liberated Attention Economy that empowers us users instead of the centralized content hosting and distribution platforms. That's the goal to keep in mind.

As stated in the official announcement, Qrator will evolve into a decentralized distributed ledger beyond the beta release. Synereo begins by building a cross-platform social graph, laying the ground for the network effects necessary for a fully populated, decentralized social networking platform. By bootstrapping existing networks, Synereo will be able to hit the ground running with its decentralized social networking app, already populated with users, their social graphs, their identities, and histories. All that information will securely be stored on the blockchain, privately owned, accessible and controlled by the users alone.
