Re: Bad Devs and CEOs
by

on 11/10/2019, 20:08:32 UTC
If some disciplinary act are been taken against teams and devs greedy habits will reduce in crypto space, bad devs and ceo are showing their faces to the public introducing their project to gain awareness, the teams are even going for blockchain seminars and here we are thinking they are doing the right thing to easily achieve success and increase adoption rate too but in the end the project still turn to scam, in crypto and blockchain tech a piece of paper anybody can just trampled on and do as they see fit? its really unfair, investors are taking risks i think these kind of devs should be dealt with to stand as an example for those who have evil thoughts of using blockchain
Fraud projects are a really hot topic and problem in the cryptocurrency industry, but it’s very difficult to completely eradicate and identify fraudulent schemes. Therefore, at the moment, it is better to invest in proven coins in order to reduce the risk of losing your investment.

Re: Will Libra Coin bring Down Bitcoin's dominance
by

Why coin libra can make down bitcoin dominance, have Libra listing and make testing for launching or not. How come without know when Libra active as e currency could make bitcoin destroy, I think is only joke from Libra and Facebook team to make people panic with bitcoin or altcoin investment and move to other investment kinds.
Most likely this is not a joke, but I also think that Libra will not compete with bitcoin ( as other coins), since bitcoin is the flagship in the cryptocurrency market and it is impossible to compete with it at the moment. But on this project, it will be very interesting to see.

Re: Is Blockchain-based social media worth it?
by
CaptainKid
on 11/10/2019, 17:56:38 UTC
After Blockchain's success within the mainstream world, we've seen various implementations of it into areas of finance, notarization of documents, proof of identity, and more. Yet, one of the most exciting implementations of the Blockchain has been social media, in my opinion. The first-ever social media platform was Steem, but other alternatives started to gain traction after it. We now have AKASHA (ETH Blockchain), HyperSpace (AMP cryptocurrency), and even Voice (EOS Blockchain).

With so many Blockchain implementations of a social network, it's becoming evident that this is the industry of the future. Of course, none of the mentioned platforms have been able to overcome Facebook or even Twitter. But the potential is there, to help change our world for the better. Still though, the number of users within these platforms are not comparable to the likes of Facebook.

Which makes me wonder, if Blockchain-based social media platforms are actually worth it? Do you think there's a future for them? Or are they just a niche? Huh
To be honest, I first heard about the fact that there are social networks on the blockchain or something like that, so I understand that they are not popular. I hope the developers of these social networks will spend more money on advertising so that more people recognize them and can compare them with the social networks that exist at the moment.

Re: Many ICO / altcoin scams?
by
CaptainKid
on 11/10/2019, 17:28:44 UTC
Nowadays people are changed more and learnt how to choose the best ICO. Now these scammers are getting involved with the small exchanges and list the scam project in the form IEO.
Then these users get scammed in IEO. ICO is not scamming more than IEO.
This can be enumerated endlessly, since scammers everywhere, in all fields of activity and cryptocurrency, are no exception, since this industry has gained great popularity. Therefore, we always need to be alert, because we always risk losing our money.

Re: Why would you sell an altcoin right at the very bottom
by
CaptainKid
on 11/10/2019, 16:42:28 UTC
This is about an individual, everyone that ventures into a business has a plan and one might probably sell of a project at an atl if he or she is displease with the project and can not jold on any longer, but that does not stop me from holding stq, i still hold firmly
You are right, it all depends on the person and on the situation in which he finds himself. Someone sells their altcoins because he has a plan, and someone urgently needs money. Personally, I try not to sell  coins at once, but often the price does not recover and I regret it.

Re: how to detect desperate Developers and scammers
by
CaptainKid
on 11/10/2019, 14:33:18 UTC
First of all, it is necessary to find out what kind of project it is and to pay attention to such factors as the absence of the declared activity in it, whether other people's materials and data are used, the promise of a large income, the guarantee of minimal risks for investors, and the use of well-known names by the startup. All of the above items are a reason to refuse to invest in this project.

Re: What are the fair rewards come out from campaign?

Definitely, we need to be more careful in the cryptocurrency market, when choosing a project for investment, or when choosing a project for a fee, in which you want to participate. But this requires experience and a quick reaction, since it’s difficult for beginners to determine if a project is good and whether it will bring you profit.

Re: Experience from day one
by
CaptainKid
on 11/10/2019, 11:51:07 UTC
If i am asked to write a story about my crypto accomplishments so far well i don't have any thing to write about except how much i have make, since 2018 i haven't make better money investing in crypto and for months i have invested in crappy projects because at that time i never understand why coins can be demanding, i think its same thing for most newbies too, i started my bounty journey but still nothing, instead every few dollars i made are from airdrops, yes i made reasonable money from airdrops like
-Apollo currency
- Blockstamp
- originalmy
- Data token
E t c, why haven't  my bounty tokens turned money? airdrops quickly get on exchanges and they are tradable but not bounty tokens, tell me whats your experience so far?

Perhaps you really have not yet learned how to choose projects, but everyone learns from their mistakes. Although, as my experience shows, there is always a risk in everything. The cryptocurrency market is really unpredictable, and not only beginners lose their money, don’t give up, study all kinds of information on cryptocurrency websites.

Re: Teams showing real faces to public can still scam you
by

Unfortunately, no one is safe from fraud; there is always a risk. Very often scammers use visual tactics, because it is easier to attract investor confidence by dulling their vigilance. When choosing a project, you definitely need to be more careful and study all the information about both the team and the project itself.

Re: WHEN ETHEREUM KEEPS DISAPPOINTING
by
CaptainKid
on 11/10/2019, 10:35:47 UTC
In the course of this year, ethereum has mostly not been promising due to the many disappointing times we have experienced. Sometimes, it even become very difficult to know when to hold or sell out some ethereum. All the same, many people who trust in altcoins have kept some great faith in ethereum and that is an amazing motivation that ethereum can really bounce back and be the strong force most hodlers wish for.

I don’t quite understand what kind of disappointment you are talking about, at the moment the price of Ethereum is stable, the potential of this coin is huge, and there are all the prerequisites that such a price will still exist during this year.

You definitely need to invest in trusted exchanges, but still there is always a risk of losing your money. First of all, you need to collect information about this project and weigh the pros and cons, remember - greed is your enemy.

Re: How i keep my private keys safe without hardware wallet

I believe that the safest way to store your savings is with a hardware wallet. To save your coins, do not store your passwords and keys on your desktop, back up your keys on a USB device, don’t follow suspicious links and don’t believe in instant money.

Re: Are ICOs dead?
by
CaptainKid
on 11/10/2019, 08:25:53 UTC
I also think so, unfortunately due to the large number of fraudsters, ICOs began to lose their investors, as they are afraid to invest their money in projects. As for the appearance of IEO, there is also a risk of losing your money, as in the ICO. ICO and IEO have their pros and cons, let's hope that the situation will improve.

Re: crypto and gold
by

on 11/10/2019, 07:54:42 UTC
Both in gold and in cryptocurrency, there are pros and cons. If you want to keep your savings, then gold is a good option, and if you want to invest and make a profit, then cryptocurrency is more interesting in this regard. But you must understand that investing is always risky, which is why you need to invest only that amount of money with which you can easily part.

Re: Why not advance as a bounty hunter?
by
CaptainKid
on 10/10/2019, 19:15:21 UTC
Work on your failure and mistakes instead of complaining, try to be a better version of yourself and you will find your way, complains won't change anything unless you change yourself, i don't stop promoting bounty projects but i choose wisely for sure because i have learnt from my past mistakes and i am still learning to be a better self
I agree that us need to work on their mistakes, but you need to face the truth - there are practically no good bounty campaigns of, there are only a few of them. But us need to always be on the alert and monitor the development of this industry and the cryptocurrency market as a whole.

Re: Will IEO be good in the future?
by
CaptainKid
on 10/10/2019, 18:53:00 UTC
It seems to me that in recent years IEO it began to lose interest from investors. This is due to a decrease in profitability from this type of investment. Even on such exchanges as Binance yield fell very much, which affected the popularity of the IEO and the price of the BNB coin. If things go on like this, then IEO will become as unpopular a way of investing as ICO.
Do you say "in recent years"? If I'm not mistaken, then IEO became popular only in 2019 and already has a demand and interest from many investors (although the hype has really declined at the moment). It is not known what awaits us in the future, but I believe that good and promising projects will still be on some exchanges (I mean IEO).

Re: Facebook Cryptocurrency
by
CaptainKid
on 10/10/2019, 17:11:27 UTC
I am determined to buy FB coin Libra even though it is not available yet. I hope it is available on exchanges where i can buy easily.

Will it be a threat to BTC and other altcoins? I am afraid that the prices of BTC and other altcoins will go down. It makes me hesitate to buy some currencies like TRX currently.
Perhaps the project / coin that Facebook developers want to present will be something magnificent and innovative, but I do not think that it will be cooler and more authoritative than the same bitcoin or the promising TON. Also, before the open access and release of this coin for a long time, a lot can change in the cryptocurrency market.

Re: Altcoin's future.
by
CaptainKid
on 10/10/2019, 16:50:25 UTC
The more new coins that are present in the crypto market, will certainly enliven the crypto world. My question is how do you look at the future of the altcoin, with fairly tight competition. Will it affect the price of old altcoins, such as Ethereum, XRP and others.

Of course, the new altcoins will affect the value of old altcoins in one way or another. But I don't think the new altcoins will affect the major altcoins in the market such as the ones you mentioned which are Ethereum, Ripple, Dash, Monero, and others. Top altcoins are best altcoins so it's unlikely for them to die.
I wonder how new coins / altcoins can affect the price of old altcoins. If I’m not mistaken, then now there are units of new projects that can occupy high positions in the cryptocurrency market, have high liquidity, demand and a good price.

You did the right thing that you created this post about wallet hacking. You need to be careful and keep the keys in a more secure place. I think that everyone is mistaken, thus obtaining inconspicuous experience, but the most important thing in this situation is to draw conclusions and not repeat these errors.
