Re: How far can Bitcoin go?
by
CarlosWhite

I think only time can answer all that. because its the name of the market then the price will be accumulative, can go up and could have gone down. maybe that's it from me.

Re: Altcoin future

altcoins are being used actively. In many places, altcoins have begun to face difficulties as an investment network. In addition to bitcoins, subcoins are actively used. In such a case, the future of coin money will focus much more on the idea of an investment network. It has become one of the reasons for its preference because of its growing acceleration every day

I very much hope for a boom for this ripple. Its a centralized coin so many different bank or companies can use this as any form of online transaction. And in my opinion, i think it is the most famous centralized coin. I even read an article from month ago suspecting that amazon might choose ripples Undecided

If you don't know what to do then do nothing is the best thing i think. Nobody knows what will happen and people can only make educated guesses. You are trying to play the market and predict what is gonna happen and that can end badly

Re: How to get more profit?

To get profit in any cryptocurrency market is not simple or easy but it is doable.  With good trading skill and experience, one will always make money regardless of market condition.  When there is bull,  your asset appreciate and when there is bear asset depreciate.  These are unique situation for serious gain if you know what you are doing

Re: That moment when you buy 1BTC at $2500
by
CarlosWhite
on 19/04/2018, 01:50:26 UTC
Sell if you buy more, now the price is at $2800 now, a decent profit there, if the price drops again, buy it and wait till the price recover and then sell it. It depends whether you would like to be actively trading or treating Bitcoin as a passive investment. If passive, just keep yourself away from the Bitcoin price (to minimise risks of heart attacks), and check back again aftter a year. Smiley

It is not too late yet to hold BTC

People are attracted to Bitcoin because its the first of its kind before other altcoins, litecoins etc came up, and it also has the highest value which is still increasing

Re: Is bitcoin an asset or a currency?
by
CarlosWhite
on 18/04/2018, 04:33:15 UTC
For me, bitcoin is a little bit of both. It is still a currency because of the fact that we can use it in any transaction that caters bitcoin. It becomes an asset because it's volatility range allows it to be profitable with the right strategy

Re: what to do if bitcoin decreases?
by
CarlosWhite
on 17/04/2018, 04:26:39 UTC
The thumb rule in case of bitcoin should be never to sell bitcoin. I would be buying if the price decreases for sure. Also its a good idea to buy it every month so even if the price does decrease, one can average down on their buying price  Undecided

BE CAREFUL WITH GREEN

Many know this but rarely can do.
Normally, green represents growth and red represents price decrease. But to me, it is the opposite. I have witnessed quite a few cases in which investors buy a green coin, like TRON (TRX) or Siacoin (SC), then lose their money. You should know that when the coin turn green, it is just some leftover or a rat trap. Like Siacoin, will you earn 800% more after it has already increased 800%?

DO NOT PANIC WHEN YOU SEE RED

Only be afraid and panic if your coin is a shitcoin. Shitcoin will sooner or later die even when it once green for a long period.
If your coin is solid coins, the red will soon leave and it is meaningless to panic. Those solid coins have survived long enough to have a future in this market and won’t die easily. Otherwise, they have a solid foundation of strong team member and potential project. If those are your case, don’t worry.

Ethereum and Bitcoin have also gone through those red and green days and still be here to grow. Be patient and have a long vision (6 months to 20 years). The rise or fall in short term does not mean anything.

Re: How do you store your bitcoins?
by
CarlosWhite
on 04/04/2018, 02:51:16 UTC
I store all my wallet.dat files in like 10 different USB sticks offline. I have been doing this since the very first time I started with Bitcoin. It's the best option for me. It is quite time consuming updating each wallet file since I have so many and they need to be stored on all sticks again. Better safe than sorry.
