Stop using Vista, it's a bad one even by Windows standards. Switch to Windows 7 at least, or do the smart thing and start using Linux (one of Debian distros like kubuntu or xubuntu).

The Happening was pretty bad. I don't know what Wahlbert was thinking when he agreed to do it.
Your only real alternative would be tails, its a linux OS that you can boot off of anything like a CD or a thumb drive. As far as speed goes, tails routes everything through TOR so you wont get any increased speeds but the security on tails is better, tails only uses RAM for storage so when you turn off your computer, everything will be deleted and you wont leave a trace
TAILS is not the only alternative, then. Whonix is another.
Thank you. Whonix really looks good, I'm learning about all the security and anonymity features on whonix website right now and I'm glad I found it because of you. I'll be using it for a lot of things once I get it all figured out and set up.

Re: whats up with the word "secret" secret societies, secret area 51
I think many of these types of things used to be secret in the past.
Such as Area51 was not a house hold name back when it started.. They use to say it was secret because they had to make large efforts to hide their activity from Russian satellites.
They would mount jets on poles then measure the radar signature etc. Then they knew when the Russian satellite was coming to look at them then they would quickly hide the airplanes in hangars.. In an effort to hide the shape mostly i think. But it did not work.. the full size airplanes in the desert sun would cast a shadow. So when they removed the airplane the shadow was still a different temperature than the rest of the surrounding area.. giving the Russians the exact shape that was a secret.
Those sneaky shadow-spying Russian bastards with their secret satellites!

You need professional help. Find a good psychiatrist near you and get better.

I've heard of whonix, I know some advanced guys use it for good opsec. Do you have a lot of experience with it?
Yes, I do. I use it because It is a lot more flexible than TAILS, and a lot safer than simply using Tor Browser on your host. I run all kinds of custom workstation VMs (including Windows) through whonix gateway, and don't have to worry about any IP or DNS leaks.
Thanks for your posts. I'm now reading whonix documentation and planning to get it set up asap.
Open and use your Firefox browser. Then under "History" in the top menu, there is a link that says, "Clear recent History." Select "Everything" when you clear your history. You think that you have cleared everything, but have you?
Download and set up CCleaner from Piriform at http://www.piriform.com/promo/ccleaner-100314?gclid=CKyC1M3mns0CFQ6LaQodQBECGQ - they have a free version. Then run CCleaner with settings to clear everything that you thought you just cleared off Firefox. You will see that Firefox has retained all kinds of info that you thought you had deleted. At least, that's how it works for me.
Does anyone know how to set Firefox so that it really deletes everything like the History says it does?
Just run it in a VM, make a spanshot with freshly installed and customized to your preferences Firefox (all addons, about:config settings, etc), and then roll back to that snapshot when needed (after each session, for example).

Probably too many. The IQ level of an average btc user (juding by this forum, especially) is not that high.
Have you always gotten excited with each new extension launch? There are dozens, if not hundreds of them now. Have you gotten excited about .site, .website, .online, and all the other countless extensions?

I use Electrum - it's the most convenient one, and working with addresses is really easy.
