Is this the FTW3 or SC2 version of the card? I just want to make sure it'll fit in the case I have in mind before making an offer.

SOLD - 2013 Casascius .5 MS-65
by
Cascaders28
on 17/11/2018, 00:04:47 UTC
Hello all,

I haven't posted much in several years, but I've continued to lurk around. Anyone can certainly say that, so I'm open to escrow and making this transaction transparent  Smiley

I have a 2013 Casascius .5 BTC graded coin that I purchased in July of 2014 that is ready for a new home. This coin has been in my possession since I purchased it, and is loaded with all those forked coins as well as the real stuff. Today obviously isn't the 14th, but if you need further verification or additional photos I can arrange that.

The buyer will be responsible for shipping, insurance, and escrow if desired, and I would prefer to ship it within the US (shipping from Ohio) but I'm willing to work with overseas buyers.

Asking .65 BTC but I'll work with reasonable offers.

I also have an Original 2014 0.1 BTC Kialara and an Original 2015 Silver 1 BTC Kialara I'll take offers on if there is any interest.

Thanks!

SOLD

I've got a yellow slabbed coin that I might be interested in trading. At risk of sounding completely noobish, what is the difference between the green and the yellow case?

I'd only be interested in one, or maybe 2 and shipping might kill it to get them to OH, but what were you looking to get per miner?

I might be interested in one, or two in one case (I think one PSU can feed 2?) if that's an option.

Shipping would be to NE Ohio. I'll wait for the pics, but please let me know if 2 can fit into one of the cases.

Thanks!

Last shot at this before I take it elsewhere. Here are pictures of the lid with the scratch visible in the second photo. I took these on Monday (hence the date) but haven't had a chance to upload them until now.

Thanks!

I'm sorry I'm already at home and I left the laptop at work since that is where I've been tinkering with it. The lid of the laptop looks just like any normal HP 4440s, but as mentioned there is a very light scratch on it. I can certainly take another picture of that specifically on Monday for you if you'd like.

Here are some photos. I forgot to mention that I will be including the battery and the power cord.

There is a scratch on the back of the lid but it's light and I didn't get a picture of it. This isn't terribly noticeable, but the inside of the hinge covers on the screen bezel were removed in frustration while getting the bezel back on. It isn't obvious, but the hinge covers aren't perfect is the short version.

I figured I'll give this a bump. If anyone is holding out for pictures or more information please just let me know! It's a unique little system but like I said I've had my fun with it and I'm ready to move on.

I'll also mention that I'm US based and would prefer to ship it within the country but I imagine we could work something out for an international buyer.

Thanks!

**CLEANING UP AND CLOSING DOWN** Due to a complete and total lack of interest lol. Thanks folks

I'll start with the obvious bit since I've been away for awhile. This account still belongs to me and me alone and this is a legitimate posting. I realize simply typing that doesn't count for much but I'm absolutely willing to handle this sale through escrow and ensure the legitimate nature of this listing.

With that out of the way this is primarily to gauge interest, but if people want I can certainly post pictures including my name and the date, etc.

I have an HP ProBook 4440s laptop that I've done considerable modification to and turned into a Hackintosh. The specs are as follows

Intel Core i5 3210m
8GB DDR3 Memory
256 GB SSD
CD/DVD Burner
1600x900 Screen (which took some real hacking over the standard 1366x768 screen)
Running OSX 10.9.5 Mavericks

This is a pretty nice little laptop and the hardware upgrades I've done have made it pretty powerful. I did some tinkering with CS6 and it was very responsive. I built it to help myself learn the Mac OS and I'm just ready to move on and find another project.

It is important to note that this system is a Hackintosh and will not behave exactly the way a true Apple Laptop would. Some of the keyboard combinations won't work the way you would expect them to and the touchpad gestures are not all there. However for a fraction of the cost you can get some pretty potent hardware and enjoy using the Mac OS if you're into that sort of thing.

I'm looking for offers around 1.8BTC which I realize may be a bit aggressive, but there is a lot of hardware here and 14" laptops don't typically come with the higher resolution screen. In the event that someone is interested but would prefer a Microsoft OS I could load Windows 7 x64 Pro instead.

Thanks!

Are you selling just the bare board as pictured or are you including a cooler/fans?

I'm sorry if this was mentioned earlier - I did a little looking and couldn't find it. What are the length and width dimensions of the Habanero boards?

I'd be interested in the remaining balance ($650?). Does this credit ever expire or is the code good once added to my Newegg account? What are you looking to get for what's left?

Figured I'd try here rather than a strict WTB thread but if anyone is interested in selling a BabyJet I'd be interested in buying. These seem to be pretty nice little miners when they work!

I'm interested, but I'm in the US so if you're not looking to deal with that I understand.

Are you including anything besides the bare board? Cooler? PSU? I know their batches are currently closed for ordering but 2BTC is more than the last round of them cost.

I can't bring myself to quote that mess of formatting but this message is for you Taugeran Tongue

I sent them to you running the full power firmware. I was able to flash them to the 1V without any issue, but they slowed down to about 30GH/s on that. Granted they ran much cooler as well (55C instead of 70C) but I'm not paying for power so the draw was never a concern for me. I think I mentioned this, but in case I didn't they tend to top out around 33GH but once you get some air moving over the side of the board you'll get into the 38GH range. Glad you're liking them!

Gigabit,

The second screen capture you supplied gives an average hash rate of 368 GH/s (and that's including the anomalous 333 GH/s).

Where did you get 313 GH/s?  None of the values in the table are anywhere near that low.

NEW MATH! What is this socery?!

My mining has always been incredibly consistent with BitMinter as long as my miners were running - regardless of pool size and regardless of difficulty.

Gigabit has it been getting warmer where you're located? I noticed my miners slowed down a bit as the ambient temperatures rose and I lost some speed as a result. Just a guess but given the time of year it's certainly possible.
