BudMiner:  How much would the cost be to add a sub panel to the main electrical panel?  I am think a 60 amp to go with the 100 amp main panel.  I can call a electrical contractor, but would like to hear if anyone has done this.  Thanks Grin

Does this also work with a mining proxy?

I would also like to know the answer to this question. Example: mining_proxy.exe

Will this work? Run a Rockminer T1 off a Rockminer R4?

I have a Rockminer T1 and a Rockminer R4 and they both use the same connection methods internally (3 pin connectors) for connecting their several ASIC boards together... Since the Rockminer T1 has a loose 3-pin connector that you are normally to connect it to the Block Erupter Ethernet Controller and run off your Internet... and the Rockminer R4 has a female 3-pin connector on it's last ASIC board... (which would normally be used to connect the next ASIC board)... if I did this, and gave power to the T1, would the T1 ASIC boards be able to be picked up and join the R4 in mining within CGMiner?

Thanks a lot for your help!

Have you tried to connect it directly to your computer and change the IP then? You might need a crossover cable ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethernet_crossover_cable ), but it might work with a regular ethernet cable too, depending on the hardware.

Yeah that was the way I was first able to get into the T1's admin area, by reading Dogie's Rockminer T1 Setup and following the Alternative Subnet Change method. I connected a short Ethernet cable from the Block Erupter Ethernet Controller (BE Controller) to my PC... but then after changing the IP address, subnet, gateway to something else, and pressing save/update, I haven't been able to get back in since :/

Hope I can find a solution soon, thanks.

Hi,

Thanks for your interest in this, I really hope someone can help soon, it would be very much appreciated!

I am having problems setting up my Rockminer T1, and I almost had it set up until I did something very stupid.

I accidentally changed the Rockminer T1's IP address found in the administration panel when going to 192.168.etc... to an IP I don'the know and now I cannot get back in...

If anyone knows the solution or fix to this, and fast, I will pay you Bitcoin, whatever you think is fair.

Thank you so much!

URGENT: Need help setting up new hardware!

Hey all,

Thanks for taking the time to read this, I really appreciate it...but I would be eternally great full if someone could help me out and tell me how I can connect this beautiful little machine up to my Windows 7 PC, so that I can run it with CGMiner and monitor it there.

http://www.eyeboot.com/image/cache/data/Product%20Pictures/T1/img_3543-800x800.png

It came with this Block Erupter Ethernet Controller which hooks directly to your router via ethernet cable. You basically log on via Internet browser by IP address and simply configure it and set it up right there similar to a router when setting up a WiFi password.

Is there a way to hook the Rockminer T1 to a Windows computer instead?

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you so much!

Re: Mining revenue x5 after switching to a different mining pool, possible?

Hi guys,

My name is Nick and I'm new to this forum so hi everyone Smiley, and I just want to say the past few months have been pretty exciting while I've been discovering and getting into cryptocurrency mining. It's an awesome thing joining the Bitcoin Revolution Wink.

Anyway, my curiosity lies in my mining stats while testing different mining pools. The past few days I've been mining off and on at Slush's Pool with my new Rockminer R4 which is hashing at about 500 GH/s, and I've earned somewhere around 0.03 BTC.

But just today I started mining over at TripleMining (let me know if you want to join my team! ;]), and already I've earned the same (0.03 BTC) that took nearly 3 days over at Slush's Pool, and I've barely been mining for 12 hours. How is this possible? My rewards aren't confirmed yet but is this at least somewhat accurate or not even close?

If anyone could shed some light on this that would be great! Also any help or advice would be greatly appreciated too.

Thanks a lot!

- Nick

How is this possible - well you could buy 10k lotto tickets each week and only make a few hundred dollars. Then all of sudden you get a lucky scratcher and win 100k. Pure variance aka luck.

You said you were mining on/off at Slush's pool.  Slush really penalizes peolple for jumping in/out.  Mine at a PPLNS or PPS pay based pool.

Thank you so much for your help. Your information has been very valuable and I truly appreciate it.

I just have one last question, will the payouts remain the same as they are now?

Have a nice labor day weekend, be safe! Smiley

Hey,

Thanks for the reply. Well, that was earlier today for my first round, and was for 0.036 BTC... how am I already on another round and have earned 0.042. That's a total 0.078 and it hasn't even been a full 24 hours. All from a Rockminer R4 hashing at 500 GH/s. Is this possible?

Any and all input will be very much appreciated.

Thanks again!
