## ⛏️ How to Start Mining

### 1. ASIC – SHA-256 (Pool)

### 2. Hive Mining – “Bees” Mode 🐝

*No extra hardware needed—just your wallet.*

1. **Create Bees:**
   Open the Cascoin wallet and convert a small amount of CAS into “Bees.”
   Each Bee is a lightweight virtual miner that helps secure the chain.

2. **Keep the Wallet Running:**
   While your wallet is online, your Bees work—verifying blocks and keeping the network resilient.

3. **Earn Rewards in Bees:**
   Bees that successfully contribute are paid more Bees, which you can later redeem 1:1 back into CAS.

> • Lets laptop & low-power nodes participate
> • No dilution—Bees exist only while your wallet is open and burn themselves when you close it
