Re: Blockchain to Disrupt Music Industry and Make It Change Tune

I'm not sure that blockchain can change the music industry that much. I doubt it.
Based on my little research I believe bitcoin truly will and is already affecting the music industry by reducing the gatekeepers who come inform of an intermediary between the creators of music and the listeners hence making listeners encure some unnecessary charges

Is bitcoin legal in Nigeria?
by
Celebrityfarmer
on 14/10/2020, 13:44:46 UTC
Nigeria is seventh most populous country, and most populous in Africa. Nigeria also has the largest economy in Africa, with more than $500 billion of nominal gross domestic product. The Word Bank considers Nigeria to be an emerging market and is widely seen as a perspective economy. Still, it ranks 152nd in the Human Development Index and has a large variety of problems regarding the lack of education, organized crime and human rights. Bitcoin is legal in Nigeria, but the Nigerian SEC, or Securities and Exchange Commission, warned citizens about cryptocurrency investments being risky and sometimes even fraudulent. However, the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Central Bank of Nigeria have plans to adopt cryptocurrency technology and have several sub-committees working on implementing blockchain into governmental insurance and financial services.

Blockchain to Disrupt Music Industry and Make It Change Tune
by
Celebrityfarmer
on 14/10/2020, 04:10:12 UTC
Blockchain technology is tipping the scales of the music industry, shifting the power from intermediaries back to artists.
Blockchain technology has the power to increase financial inclusion and change the lives of many throughout the world, especially in emerging economies where it’s needed the most. While the potential of blockchain technology has been widely recognized, even among the harshest critics of Bitcoin (BTC) itself, the possible use cases for blockchain technology are often thought of as limited only to the financial industry.

While the distributed ledger system created alongside Bitcoin has a powerful use case in the realm of currency and assets, in which value can now be digitally transferred without any middlemen or risk of duplication because ownership is immutable and provable, these same applications can be translated into many other industries beyond finance.

In this instance, the music industry, which has too often been dominated by gatekeepers, will go under the microscope. While the advent of the internet — followed by streaming platforms such as Napster, Soundcloud and now Spotify — has changed this to a degree, blockchain technology seems to be the next step when it comes to giving power back to creators and their listeners.

Re: Why is bitcoin so unstable?
by
Celebrityfarmer
on 07/10/2020, 13:39:34 UTC
Because Bitcoin was created in 2008 whereas gold has been a store of value for thousands of years.
i disagree with you that because bitcoin was created in 2008 while gold has been in existence long before then hence it affects the stability of bitcoin reason being that you can not accredit the instability of bitcoin to just the year of creation because bitcoin is another form of currency which despite its recent year of creation has gained so much popularity and usage and it’s widely used in forex which involves the buying and selling of other currencies

Re: Are people giving up on Bitcoin too quickly?
by
Celebrityfarmer
on 07/10/2020, 12:48:45 UTC
I assume this is the same people who doesn't think Bitcoin as a currency, instead they think Bitcoin is a tool or an asset that could make them rich quicker than being a hard worker in their respective day jobs.
Well, they are part of the adoption, but with different perspective. Sad to say, there might be not half of Bitcoin users who truly supports Bitcoin in general.
Bitcoin is already a currency, people just don't use it as it is, most of us have considered it as a store of value.
i totally agree with you on this very topic
Because people who easily give up on bitcoin are those who don’t think of bitcoin as a currency but rather as a means to automatically get rich without hard work and consistency
So it will be best to lecture or teach those individuals who easily grow apathy towards bitcoin that bitcoin is also also a form of currency which is one of the widely used cryptocurrencies

Re: Enough is enough! Good bye Bitcoin!

I'm fed up with all this cryptocurrency thing.

First off, I make tremendous loses due to being a newbie in this market. After a second thought (and accepting the heavy loses incurred) I decided to try again and re-invest in bitcoin, only to be told this few moments ago.

I will not risking HODLING bitcoins if they will shut down the first (and only) cryptocurrency exchange in Kuwait. As such I decided to play it safe, incur further loses, and just sold all my bitcoins and getting out of this business for good.

After all, why should I HODL my bitcoins (1.25 this time) when I can't exchange them for cash when I need them? More importantly, how will bitcoin appreciate when exchanges will close in other parts of the world?

I wish I was never introduced to Bitcoin.  Angry

Any ideas on what I should do with my Ledger Nano X now?  Roll Eyes
well I don’t have any idea on what you’re to do with your ledger nano X but the fact that you are regretting to have been introduce to bitcoin meanwhile let me also refresh you that so many people are also wishing they were introduced to bitcoin earlier before now
And you should also note that there are loses in whatever business anybody so wishes to do and bitcoin as one of the most stable cryptocurrency in use now is not exempted because it has its T$C
So my advice to you is to get up dust yourself and pick up again but this time believe you’re going to succeed.
GOODLUCK

Re: Bitcoin is a new investment

Bitcoin is one of the strong cryptocurrency and it is the most stable digital coin nowadays. Also, bitcoin is one of the promising investment in digital world. Since, peoples economy nowadays are unstable due to the pandimic situation in the world. Peoples are looking for new source of income to improve their economy. Do you think bitcoin is the best investment choice nowadays to earn money?
based on the little I know about bitcoin I can confidently say or propose that bitcoin is another new way of generating income and hence people are greatly advised to invest massively in cryptocurrencies.
I believe bitcoin as one of the most stable cryptocurrency in use now should be fully invested in by people

Re: >>>Coin Hunt World now in OPEN beta! Explore your city and earn BTC & ETH
by

Yes so sorry, it's currently USA only. The plan is to add more countries over time. I edited the original post to make it clear the beta is currently USA only.

OP you should have pointed that out in your post also what's your reply about incentivizing people on going out for this kind of game/app? As I said earlier I don't think that this is the right time for you to release such app when people should be going out less and less because of the current pandemic we have. With your app you are actually encouraging people to go out more even if it's dangerous. Maybe have your app be more rewarding in having prizes indoors instead of being outdoors.
On the contrary, the period of publication and launching of this application is one of the best period from my own opinion
Reasons being that the application allow users/players to earn free bitcoin and ethu which are the best cryptocurrency in use
The developer also needs to work on the location preference since it allows only  US  users

Re: BITCOIN FOR SALE

If you really have the coins then move them to a good wallet that allows you to sign a message and sign a message to prove that you indeed have the coins. Or your action alerts a reg tag.
Indeed, I think calling out an escrow would give him chance to do transaction. Most new accounts are usually end up being a scammer but I dont judge the guy, maybe his real dont know maybe.
If I go with my instinct then I will say this is 100% scam approach. I highly doubt someone with that many bitcoin will come to a random forum and will make a like of post to sell his bitcoin. And look at the platform he asked to trade. Why would anyone give a Jackass about a specific platform with having over a million dollar worth of bitcoin.

Everything ends up with a conclusion that this is not a real deal.
You really said it all
If a new user sprouts up from the blues which such huge amount of bitcoin seeking for buyer from just a random platform
So am standing on my grounds agreeing with @bitcoingirl.com on this ever issue that the above mention posts from every speculations looks suspicious.
Thanks.

Re: Difference between a Meetup vs Conference
by
Celebrityfarmer
on 03/10/2020, 00:53:43 UTC
With regards to the above mentioned topic I can say yes there are differences between meetups and conferences or submits
Hence while meetups and conferences can both be attended by international and local residents, it should be noted that the major difference between meetups and conferences is that meetups are mostly congregation of people sharing common idea while conferences are mostly gathering where people come to acquire new knowledge
Hence it is more of lecture than discussion.

From my little observation, it can be easily deduced that the lack of interest (apathy) towards all this new applications created by people for the mining of bitcoin is as a result of their past experiences with scammers or as a result of what they might have seen or heard or possibly experienced in the quest of acquiring bitcoin easily and freely without  work and patience Hence falling into the hands of scammers
So don’t feel bad when you see people not turning up to your request of them to check out your work which is not even verified by google playstore.

Re: Is bitcoin difficult to understand
by
Celebrityfarmer
on 02/10/2020, 15:07:12 UTC
With my experience learning it’s quite obvious that it’s a simple concept to understand if you take time learning about it and not rushing the process. We the community make it look like learning about bitcoin is a very hard thing to do and this discourage new users who would had picked interests in the currency. Sending and receiving bitcoin isn’t difficult but the other areas that are very hard to some extent.
