Debugging the random number of the main network


The progress of the contract ERC20

1)、We have finished writing the contract on ETH for users to map.

2)、We have finished writing a snapshot tool to generate a snapshot of ERC20 tokens.

3) 、We have finished writing an automated tool to import the initial account number of the main network from the snapshot.

4)、We have finished writing automation tools and verifying the initial account number whether it is imported correctly or not.

5)、We have finished writing the contract celes.unregd to record the information of unsuccessful mapping accounts for later retrieval.

CeleOS Block Browser

1）We have finished collecting all the functions of the Block Browser list；

2）We have finished sorting out all the interfaces of the Block Browser；

3）We have completed the design of the Block Browser interface.

Developer documentation

CeleOS developer documentation has been basically completed, which has a total of 203 pages.


5、Debugging the Main network

1）We have fixed the bug when the CelesOS take resource staked action.

2）We have adjusted the contract format to suit the new contract development tools and continue to improve the contract logic.


DAPP’s Developing Process

This week is mainly about DoChat V1.2 iterative requirements, development and testing.

1. Business Cards

When you check your business card, a message appears in the blockchain information section: Authenticated users are visible to others.

When you check the others business card ( unauthenticated user ), we blur the amount, which indicates that unauthenticated users are not visible to others.

We have added a new display of rankings ( the whole network rankings )

Ranking

We have added the unregistered user who can send “do”. If there is no response ( background record, pending ), then we will remove the invitation.

We have added a new certification list.

When you are interacting with the user, we added a prompt for “do”.

Celes added a new overseas assessment agency this week: Coin Market Daddy


At present, there are two websites of overseas evaluation organizations, which are PRIMEICO and ICODROPS. These two websites put Celes Chain on the front page to attract many overseas users.

By the time of publication, Celes had been favored by 45 well-known assessment agencies at home and abroad. The American rating agency TrackICO scored 5 points out of 5 and the ICLINK scored as high as 4.98.

Celes has aroused enthusiastic response from the overseas communities. The organizations that assess Celes conduct comprehensive and multi-angle professional assessments in terms of projects, teams, technologies, white papers, official websites, social media, number and activity of telegraph groups, and CCHN information.

Attending the 2018 Global Blockchain Developer Conference

On December 15, 2018, the 2018 Global Blockchain Developer Conference was successfully held at Crowne Plaza Hong Kong Kowloon East. Michael Yeung, chief scientist of CelesOS, attended the conference at the invitation of the conference organizers. In addition, experts from the industry such as Bitmain Corporate founder Wu Jihan, Bitcoin.com founder Roger and BitcoinABC chief developer Amaury also appeared at the meeting and shared their latest experience.


The 2018 Global Blockchain Developer Conference ( GBDC ) is jointly sponsored by Satoshi Foundation and Bitkan. Its purpose is to strengthen the exchange and cooperation of blockchain technologies, improve the construction of various developer communities and inject more strength into the blockchain industry.


The meeting brought together the world’s top developer team in the blockchain industry, high-quality project parties, professional media, more than 10 digital cash exchanges and wallets, well-known investment institutions in the blockchain field, leading enterprises in the blockchain application industry, and representatives of the blockchain derivative industry.



The meeting discussed the development trend of blockchain, blockchain finance, privacy security, smart contracts, DPoW, DAPP and other topics.


Michael Yeung, chief scientist of CelesOS, said in his share with the participants that DPoW is the consensus algorithm we invented and used in CelesOS. DPoW means Delegated Proof of Work, which is similar to DPoS, but the ticket source does not come from token but from hash. The answer to the puzzle of miners’ POW calculation is a one-time ticket, which can be accumulated and then sent to the block producer ( BP ).


Through this conference, CelesOS has been recognized and welcomed by more people in the industry. CelesOS will continue to develop the financial service capability of the blockchain, improve the ecological blueprint of the blockchain industry and promote the vigorous development of the blockchain technology.

CelesOS Major Network

Completing 80 % of Celesos developer files by using gitbook and currently build local services and view files through a browser (we currently complete about 139 pages).


CelesOS Test Network

We have sorted out the existing interface of EOS, and outputted test demo and interface document.

The development of self-service account creation has completed 90% in the CelesOS Test Network, and it is expected to be tested next week.


Relevant Process of Main Network Startup

Complete the statistical function of DBP activity.

Complete the interface between DBP chain and contract, and improve contract related logic.


The function of generating and verifying the random number of the system is basically completed.

Attending the Seminar on AI+HI and the New Trend of Blockchain

On December 6, 2018, CelesOS Chief Scientist Michael Yeung was invited to attend a seminar on AI + HI and the New Trend of Blockchain held in Nanshan, Shenzhen. Participants were all from industry leaders of blockchains and outstanding core managers of asset management.


In the meeting, Chief Scientist Michael Yeung first proposed that blockchain is a new life form, which has been recognized and concerned by the participants. Michael Yeung believes that blockchain assets are like a life, each miner and node is like a cell on its mother, supporting the unlimited growth of this asset.


Michael Yeung also said that assets can be priced and their value will change over time. That is to say, the ratio of the expected future cash flow to the value difference at the current point in time, in other words, the ratio of converting the expected future earnings into the equivalent present value is what we often call the discount factor.

2018 GLOBAL FINTECH VENTURE COMPETITION

Organizing and submitting Celesos’s patent to produce random numbers.

The random number algorithm can ensure the safe generation of random numbers, also does not need to introduce a “trusted third party”, so that a “safe” random number can be generated by the memory operation of the block producer, and other verification nodes can verify the blocking behavior of the block producer to prevent the block producer from cheating.

Participated in Microsoft Accelerator • VC Day Road Show in Shanghai

On December 5, 2018, the CelesOS team attended Microsoft Accelerator • VC Day Road Show in Shanghai, and Michael Yeung, chief scientist of CelesOS, participated in the Road Show.

Microsoft accelerator is Microsoft’s project to explore potential startups around the world. The entering of the competition of Microsoft Accelerator is regarded “as hard as entering Harvard”, and every company selected is a startup that performs extremely well in each segment of the competition!

1. Major Network of CelesOS

We have sorted out JS SDK and conducted partial interface tests on it. We have completed 12 interface tests, among which 9 have passed debugging and 3 have yet to be analyzed.


2. Development of the Main Network

We have adjusted BP’s block reward logic, and set up all the nodes of the test network and tested the BP account number of the test network to become the test network BP and participate in the block.

3. Application of DAPP

CelesOS attended the China Blockchain Conference of China Computer Federation

From November 23 to 25, 2018, the first China Blockchain Conference of China Computer Federation (CCF CBC 2018) was held in Hangzhou. CelesOS attended the meeting and was successfully elected as a member of CCF Technical Committee on Blockchain, about which the CCTV News has covered.

The China Blockchain Conference is crowded with famous experts such as academician Chen Chun of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, academician Rong Chunming of the Norwegian Academy of Sciences, director Bai Shuo of the ChinaLedger Technology Committee, director Si Xueming of the CCF TCBC, professor Zhu Liehuang of the Beijing Institute of Technology, professor Gu Dawu of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and president Zhang Yifeng of the Zhongchao Blockchain Technology Research Institut, etc. Leaders of the CAC, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology, State Information Center and other relevant departments attended this meeting.

1. The course sharing of “Blockchain @ Guanghua School of Management, Peking University”

From November 16 to 18, 2018, there was a successful completion of the initial course of “Blockchain @Guanghua School of Management, Peking University” held by Guanghua School of Management, Peking University. CelesOS Chief Scientist Michael Yeung has participated in course sharing.

The participants in the course sharing are all the top leaders from various institutions such as government departments, industry associations and enterprises, who conducted a lively and colorful study and discussion on current hot topics of blockchain.


Michael Yeung explained the application of copyright in the blockchain, and discussed with the students the business model of the government blockchain and the regulatory suggestions and other difficult issues in the landing of the blockchain.

2. China Hi — Tech Fair

CHTF known as the “First Exhibition of China’s Science and Technology” and more than 500,000 people take part in the exhibition every year.


CelesOS also attends this blockchain event. As one of the core thematic activities of the CHTF, the blockchain is jointly hosted by many well-known enterprises, industry media and organizations. 3. TechCrunch International Innovation Summit
From November 19 to 20, 2018, the CelesOS team attended the two-day TechCrunch International Innovation Summit held in Shenzhen Bay Ecological Science Park, attracting the attention of hundreds of well-known media at home and abroad.


Until now, the TechCrunch International Innovation Summit has been held in China for nine times. Top industry entrepreneurs, investors and entrepreneurs including Eric Schmidt (Google’s global CEO), Lee Kai — fu, Shen Nanpeng, Xu Xiaoping and Bao Fan, etc. will participate in the summit. Each summit will attract over 200 first-line media reports from home and abroad.

01 Running the CelesOS’s test then debugging

1. Bug’s Description

After running the CelesOS testing network executing, the feature of the RAM’s attenuation had a bug which can cause the invalid of the grid’s authorization for the users’ resources so that causing the whole transaction reverse.

Focusing on this situation, The research teams of the CelesOS edited the logic of the RAM’s attenuation, then solving the bug. At present, the development of evaluation is continuing.


2. Finished the check of the RAM increment for users

When the used RAM increased by the users, increasing the authorization of the RAM for the authorization for whether the payment is needed or not.

This feature is used for preventing the users using a large amount of trash data to fill in their own existed data to against the RAM”s payment.

So far, the authorization is displayed successfully.

The RAM of CelesOS is being improved.

1. Our team has successfully completed the analysis of the trading process of RAM in EOS, the in-depth analysis of the charging logic during buying and selling ram, and the three data tables that need to be operated during the process of buying and selling ram:

1. The problem has been successfully solved that the blocks cannot sync properly because of obtaining wood.

Bugs on CelesOS have been fixed.
1.   When testing the network of CelesOS, voters may fail to vote due to insufficient ram. This week, the above bug is fixed.

2.   It was found during the development process that the illegal burned wood may lead to an increase in the total number of votes. The bug of premature record timing of the total votes has been fixed.

3.   Adjust the storage mechanism of difficulty coefficient on CelesOS. The specific adjustment method is to adjust data in the head block to the DB.

The development of CelesOS regulatory contract permission is continued.

Last week's development of the CelesOS regulatory contract permission is continued, with the successful modification of system contract and the completed debugging verification of all functions.

1Tsinghua x-lab@Singapore Launch Ceremony

On the afternoon of September 15th, Tsinghua x-lab@Singapore Launch Ceremony was held in Shangri-La Hotel Singapore.

Guests were invited including Mr. Chan Soo Sen, Former Member of Parliament in Singapore, Mr. Cao Shihai, Education Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Singapore, and the famous investor Jim Rogers.

During the launch ceremony, Tsinghua x-lab’s outstanding entrepreneurial teams were invited to demonstrate their projects. Celes OS CEO Mr. Han Gao and Chief Scientist Mr. Michael Yang were invited to attend the event.

Tsinghua x-lab has carefully selected 3 teams to participate in the event in a thousand teams and projects cultivated in the past 5 years. CelesOS is one of the representative teams to deliver a keynote speech.

Mr. Han Gao analyzed the current international economic environment, as well as the application scenarios and prospects of blockchain technology. 2CelesOS once again landed on the Mars Training Camp

From September 16th to 17th, CelesOS’ CEO North America and General Counsel Dr. Shen Wang participated in the third session of the first Mars Training Camp in Beijing. Together with Mars Finance Cofounder Feng Wang and Qtum Cofounder Chu Shuai, Dr. Wang participated in a “fancy course” that integrated business model sharing, application seminars, and round table talks.

The training camp invited Qtum Cofounder Chu Shuai to share the “Technological Evolution and Business Opportunities of Blockchain” to the participants. He analyzed the evolution of blockchain technology from a macro perspective.

He said that technology serves the mind and then brings about changes in business models. The basis of Bitcoin’s self-operation is derived from the excellent rules of the game. This is the essence of blockchain, extending through the power of software to a wider range of fields.

In the training camp, Shen Wang and Chu Shuai began an in-depth discussion about the understanding of blockchain technology at home and abroad, and believed that there is still a long way to go to the comprehensive implementation of blockchain technology.
