Can level 2 mined coins take part in staking?
No, you need to be able to transfer MNE for that. Only with Genesis Address Level 3
saying yes it's a lie , right now in his state the answer is NO , you can't untill you uupgrade to Level 3 your Genesis Address ....

Hello , I cannot withdraw mined tokens from a lvl 3 Genesis Address to Livecoin, transactions stay in pending , no matter how much fee's I payed....

i feel bad for the people that will lose money on this, it's a game of hot potato and nobody will want to be the last man holding the bag when the music stops.

Hi Everyone,
We would like to introduce a new feature we are working on: Staking.
Staking will give the possibility for users to lock their MNE in exchange of an exchange rate 1 year in the future.
Note: Do not confuse Staking with Stake Holders. To know what Stake Holders are check here: https://www.minereum.com/howto#stakeholders
HOW IT WORKS
There will be a pot of interest rate to be given, for example 1000%.
The more users stake their coins, the lower the interest rate is.
The less users stake their coins, the more the interest rate is.
For example:
Example 1
- Assuming only 1 user stakes their coins for the whole year
- This user puts 10,000 MNE for staking
- After 1 year gets the whole staking pot of 1000%, meaning he reaceives 100,000 MNE
Example 2
- Assuming only 2 users stake their coins for the whole year
- Both users put 10,000 MNE for staking
- After 1 year each user gets 500% interest rate, meaning each user receives 50,000 MNE
Note: This feature only applies to Normal Addresses, Genesis Addresses cannot participate in the Staking process. However Genesis Addresses can transfer their Available Balance to a Normal Address and put those coins for staking from there.
