Just a reminder that there is a coin out there called Condensate which has been abbreviated to RAIN. Not sure why they chose to duplicate a "name" that already existed..

Have changed my signature to show support...will update it if an official one comes out.

Hello DEV, keen to see what the new website looks like, the original one was pretty cool.

1,435,589 block uploading to mega a snap shot so folks can DL wallet and sync faster. Check Discord for updates, saw you joined glad you're here!  Grin
Thanks, it looks like I'm on the right track.

Managed to get cgminer running and mined a block of 10000 after about 20 minutes using a very old and slow 6850 GPU running at 43Kh/s. I see that the wallet has it's own built in miner but haven't managed to mine any blocks with that yet...

At the moment I see 6 active connections and a difficulty of 0.028 so it looks like there is some interest out there. Smiley

so I loaded my wallet from 2014 it synced Huh then i initiated solo minning and I am finding blocks  Huh will they confirm? I will update soon....

***UPDATE***

Status: 90 confirmations
Date: 12/25/2017 00:08
Source: Generated
Credit: 10000.00 RAIN
Net amount: +10000.00 RAIN
Transaction ID: a0e8c52b461b6fa837dac63e1c7ab80615ef04659ff18a31181b708c5eb70d00

Generated coins must mature 90 blocks before they can be spent. When you generated this block, it was broadcast to the network to be added to the block chain. If it fails to get into the chain, its state will change to "not accepted" and it won't be spendable. This may occasionally happen if another node generates a block within a few seconds of yours.

Rain Revival?
Hi timace1978. Can you tell me what block your wallet is on at the moment? I'm also keen to start mining RAIN again when I work out what to do.... I haven't mined anything for quite a while...

Good to see some renewed interest.

I have been updating my wallet from time to time but always wondered whether I was on the correct blockchain because it never fully synced (ie: never managed to sync the last 4 hours or so). I re-sync it a few minutes ago and it has finally fully synced.

I have noticed that the website no longer exists which is a shame...

I'm wondering whether the blockchain was forked or a new blockchain was created at some time since it's inception in 2014 ?

This is what I see today with a fully synced wallet:

3 active connections (that's promising)
difficulty 0.028 (that seems to vary a lot)
Downloaded 1435451 blocks

Hi DEV. I'm still here and was wondering the same thing. It's certainly worth keeping this project going, who knows wheat might happen with some of the lesser known cryptos in the future...

I see a great deal of positivity in the Zeit community, so half the battle is already won. No harm in buying a few Zeit at current prices and waiting for mass adoption of crypto?  Lips sealed

Hello, just wondering whether there is a Zeit Signature available that I can add to my profile?

Hmm ,

Zeitcoin uses the following signature:

I just received an email supposedly from Red Pulse saying that the RPX sale is now on and to "click here" to participate. Needless to say I did not "click here" as the email looked decidedly dodgy, and that the sale is not on until Sunday 8th October.
Just a warning to others to be wary, it looks like the RPX database has been compromised and phishing emails are being sent.
Maybe they are trying to catch out panic buyers.

Good to see RDD being discussed on Bitcointalk again. It's difficult finding new information on the reddcointalk site because the posts aren't sorted by date.

Hopefully the price and volume surge surge means that someone has good news that hasn't become public knowledge yet.

Re: ⚡ [ANN] ⚡ DeepOnion TOR Integrated ⚡ No ICO 🚀 FREE Airdrops 🚀 10 of 40 Rounds
by

on 16/09/2017, 04:23:12 UTC
Hello everyone,

i joined the airdrop before the first round, and got paid for the first round. Then i have been 3 weeks in holidays and coulnd't get enough posts.
Can i still take part in the next round if i get enough posts?
I'm remembering, that there was a rule, when you pause for 3 weeks you can't join again?
But it looks like they have removed this rule as i can't find it anymore.

Does anybody know the current rule regarding this?

Hi I think the rules have been changed since the first time you joined. One noticeable change was the minimum requirement to join is being a Member. And as I see in your account, you are a Jr. Member. I think you better make yourself at least a member rank first before you apply.

That ruled killed me, made me a burst poster. At least I'm member now.

Hahaha! yeah! But let's look at the bright side now right? at least you're a Member now!

Oopppsss! I must be careful! I noticed that I posted a lot now in this thread in a short period of time. I might be doing some burst posting again. I must stop for a while.

P.S. I promise I'm not spamming the thread or whatever, I'm posting genuine posts and concerns.  I'm having a little fear now of being a burst poster... Sad
So what is the issue about burst posting? Initially I thought that it meant posting about Burst coin and thought that there might be some sort of rivalry between the Burst and the DeepOnion devs. Obviously I was wrong. What is the definition of burst posting and what harm it does it do, after all your posts reach the same audience, just a bit quicker? It is sort of like running to catch the bus.....

As I know, burst posting is create posts every minute without sense. Or for example write 10 post in 30 minutes. The dev wants creative posts, supporting deeponion.

Try to distribute your comments in all the week, like 2 per day and you will be fine to receive the airdrop.
Thanks for your reply. Just to clarify, I thought that one was able to post anywhere on Bitcointalk? If you talk up DeepOnion on a BCC thread for instance, won't they tell you to move on? I thought that the whole idea was that your Signature was doing the advertising for DeepOnion? I pretty much followed this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-t5fH2rM8yA and thought that I had everything sorted.

What a rough couple of days for crypto. It looks like Bitcoin might be on the way back up, with a corresponding rise in DGB? I Probably shouldn't even be watching the daily spikes and troughs since this a long term investment anyway. Luckily BTC has the backing of a lot of influential people and many more who won't admit it yet.

Can someone explain me what this means?
"We are sorry that your application for DeepOnion airdrop is declined because your account doesn't meet some conditions we required. We thank you for your continuous support of the DeepOnion."
My status updated from rejected to dev team approval and now I got this.

I was rejected also. I think you get two different status depending on wear you check. Like there's an apply page, and then there's a check status page. Both gave me different messages. Unfortunate no reason as to why the rejection.
Yes, I got the same thing. I started off with a positive outlook and was happy to support and promote the coin. I thought that I had followed the rules, but they do seem change from time to time and I'm not  sure where the latest rules are.
The plus side is that I am learning heaps about the TOR network and VPN's. Interesting stuff. Hopefully we will be lucky with the next round of airdrops. Undecided

you can keep your ripples online with some trusted sites including; bitterex.
the dev team now has a desktop wallet  as well
link to download the wallet:https://rippex.net/carteira-ripple.php#/
Great, now there is some progress with a desktop wallet. Windows 64 bit and 32 bit. Probably best to see what ppl say about it in the ripple forums before using. Or just buy a Nano S.

Who remembers the Gamers Coin logo from 2014? It was a cool pacman type thing. http://www.egsa.com/thecore/gear-up-with-gamers-coin
Game has come a long way since then. In the meantime I'll go and figure out how to attach an image..
