Re: Don't buy dreams sold to you!

I made this post below in a thread in my local board and I thought I should share it here and also give my two cent opinion to others.

My advice to anyone will simply, avoid or do not buy dreams.

If dreams of cryptocurrency of any kind is sold to you do not buy to it.

This above is from my experience, all scams are always tied to selling of dreams, some people call it too good to be true ideas or dreams.

First way to avoid getting scammed is to be Skeptical about everything, and unsolicited private messages or DMs should be treated with Skepticism hence if otherwise any dreams sold to you by anyone should not be bought, don't hesitate to leave such conversations that have too much of promise of returns to you.

I hope this helps someone today.
And in addition to what you just said above, having a concrete knowledge about whatever field you want to venture into is another way of avoiding being a victim of buying into fake dreams, such as when you see people claiming to offer "sure betting odds" and "Sure investments" whereby if you invest a certain amount of money, you stand a chance of getting either 2x or 3x of invested capital within a certain period of time.

Re: Crypto owner losses ≈ $1 million after fake job interview

:
- Don't hold your crypto in hot wallets. Especially not on devices you use for everyday activities. If Alexander's crypto had been in a hardware wallet, an airgapped computer, or a second computer he only uses for crypto, this could have been avoided. There is no reason to hold $1 million worth of crypto on an internet-connected device when there are safer options around.
This is a really sad news to come across this afternoon and most especially a sad day to the user who lost over $1million worth of crypto to these scammers, because this is really an avoidable mistake whereby if only he had used just $1000 to buy a separate device or laptop and used only for the storage of his cryptos, all this makes would have been avoided. And I hope this comes as a lesson to many people who holds a large portion of crypto and still holds on the same wallets.

It's true that scammers are everywhere, and as such, that should be enough reasons to make people equip themselves about basic tips to avoiding scam, because if eventually you are able to escape online scam, we have got physical scammers too which if you are not careful likely to rob away your hard earn money too, which is why personal security should always be our top most priority. Thank you

Re: 100 Push-Ups A Day Until Bitcoin Is $100K Challenge

Bitcoin is headed to $100,000 and that's not speculation. OK, maybe it is, but the 100 Push-Ups A Day Until Bitcoin Is $100K challenge is real and has been echoing throughout the community for a week now, so I thought I would make a thread here for those of us who want to try and hold ourselves accountable.

The first video that comes up when you do a quick search for this is Jae from Proof of Work Fitness, so I'll give him credit for kicking off this trend until someone corrects me with better information.  You can see his video about it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rPrsA7gBc3U

I myself started this challenge on 2/2/24 and hope to inspire other Bitcoiners to take this step to help build some muscle in the community.

Here's a video showing you what happens to your body after doing 100 push-ups a day for a month and gives some tips on proper form: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=euPXf2hqU3s

My only real tips would be to not worry about trying to do 100 push-ups at once.  Break them down into as small of sets as you need to keep from hurting yourself.  I also prefer doing push-ups on my knuckles as I think it saves my wrists from a lot of stress.

If 100 a day is too much, maybe try to start with whatever "K" the Bitcoin price is at and work your way up to 100 along with Bitcoin.  Smiley

Who's in?!?!?
I just watched the YouTube video you shared, and I must confess, the video is actually packed with lots of valuable contents needed for the right pattern of push-ups needed for healthy living. Hence, I think I will be giving this a try, but not up to 100 push ups for a beginner like me
