Re: Is government responsible for solving unemployment ?
by
ChocolateMuscles
on 19/08/2018, 14:05:21 UTC
Yes. A matter of fact is that they hold their territory as superiors in this society. They are responsible for solving unemployment issues which is really a long time issue before. People have decided to put their trust on them, and they should also do their part, not just an official,  but a concerned citizen of this community.

That's right. The government is elected, i.e. people trust them and expect them to solve the problems that exist in the country. That's why they vote for them and it means the government IS responsible for lots of things in the country including solving unemployment problem by making people-friendly laws to promote employment.

I think that we are not able to efficiently withstand whales, but we are able to understand their behavior and prevent their bad influence towards our pockets. We need knowledge and experience for it.

You're 100% right: knowledge, experience, and patience. Cool

Re: Bitcoin or Property? What might be the best investment?
by
ChocolateMuscles
on 19/08/2018, 13:30:50 UTC
I'd agree with most of the discussion participants because I believe investing in Property is nearly 100% beneficial; however, I wouldn't discard Bitcoin investments because they could bring super profits. The only thing you'd better be aware of is that despite immense profitability, Bitcoin investments are unpredictable and you'll have to be ready to wait as long as it takes before you get what you expect.

Re: will bitcoin become obsolete?

Analysis : Blockchain, the technology behind Bitcoin, is predicted to be the leading technology in the future, but this technology will become obsolete.

Is it possible that bitcoin will be obsolete in the future?

Yes, it is possible, I guess... Unless it evolves, which could also be the case. But currently we just don't know yet.  Cool

Re: Bitcoin can be a national treasure.

Bitcoin can be a national treasure

national:

1. connected with a particular nation; shared by a whole nation
- national and local newspapers
- national and international news
- national and regional politics
- a national election
- These buildings are part of our national heritage.
- They are afraid of losing their national identity.

2. owned, controlled or paid for by the government
- a national airline/museum/theater

What nation or government are you talking about in particular, may I ask?

As opposed to the 'national,' we could speak here about the 'global' currency/pride, etc.
Given the international and distributed nature of BTC, we can call it a 'global treasure' rather than a 'national treasure,' which sounds absurd.

What are you talking about competition? Being the oldest and the most recognizable cryptocurrency it's well ahead of its rivals. Of course it has no competition.  Smiley

Re: Bitcoin must be regulated!
by
ChocolateMuscles

I'm torn between the two "equations":

On the one hand,
Regulation = control = red tape => decay

On the other hand,
Regulation = control = trust => development

The only thing that's unclear to me is which of them turns out to be true in reality.
And the problem is you never can tell which way it goes until you try, but having tried something like that might become a point of no return... That's what I'm scared of.  Undecided

How about adding electrum wallet and bitcoin-qt these wallets are much safer than using online wallets because you don't have full control over your private keys compared to other wallets. So, I advise you to add this two well-known wallet, which is safe to use and you have a full control of your private keys.

Thanks for your effort!
But could you explain the idea behind the red color?

Why are
   + Coinbase
   + Blockchain.info
in red?

And one more thing, can I sync Coinbase and Blockchain.info with any hardware wallet?

PS: What about Jaxx wallet? Is it okay?

Based on what I heard about Jaxx Wallet many users lose their altcoin using this wallet and the support response is too slow. So, I recommend that you choose more secured wallet like ledger nano s as a hardware wallet.

Thanks a lot for your response!
Glad I didn't have any issues with Jaxx...

Stage 1: Learn
1. What is Bitcoin?
Before you know it, you probably heard someone say Bitcoin is virtual currency, it is not real, watch out for fraud ... right?

What exactly is Bitcoin?
BITCOIN OR BTC IS THE FIRST MONEY OF THE WORLD'S FIRST MONEY AND THE FOUNDATION FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE CRYPROCURRENCY  MARKET.

Because of the amount of information to learn about Bitcoin pretty much. You can see more here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=11698.0
During the Bitcoin investment you will need to use as much Bitcoin addressing. You can easily understand Bitcoin as your bank account number. You will use it to receive, transfer Bitcoin.

So how to create a Bitcoin address?

At present, there are many types of wallets dedicated to providing Bitcoin addressing such as:
   + Coinbase
   + Blockchain.info
   + Ledger Nano S
   + Trezor
And these wallets are also the safest and most trusted Bitcoin store to date.
2. Some reputable Bitcoin trading floors
In the investment process you will need to use some trading platform to buy Bitcoin or Altcoins.
At present, there are many trading floors:
+ Binance ( World leader in transaction volume )
+ Kucoin ( This floor is growing very fast. )
   + ...
Stage 2: Practice
Once you have thoroughly researched Bitcoin, then it is time for you to practice your knowledge readily.

What you should do is familiarize yourself with Bitcoin trading operations such as receiving, sending, buying and selling Bitcoin.

Once you know the transaction, then you will know how to invest. That is the experience that I have learned.

Special:

YOU MAY INVOLVE THE AMOUNT MAY HAVE LIABILITY AND BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR THESE DECISIONS.

P/S: Hope it will help you. Wish you a successful investment.

Thanks for your effort!

I personally use Ledger Nano S because of its versatility and reliability. Never used Trezor myself, but read some feedback on HW wallets and decided the best I can and should use is Ledger Nano S. Never had any issues so far. Highly recommended.

Re: Who to blame: the people or the government?
by
ChocolateMuscles
on 10/08/2018, 11:38:38 UTC
I think that poverty needs to be properly addressed through a collective effort of both the government and the people. The solution to this issue cannot be executed by one party alone. Hence, even though the govenment strongly implementing laws and programs to eradicate or lessen the poverty in our country, if people, still do not find ways to make their lives better, nothing will happen. Likewise, even though the people are doing everything that they can in order for them not to experience poverty anymore, if the government os corrupt and doesn't care about the welfare of the people, nothing also will happen. Thus, the government and the people must exert an efforr in order to solve this dilemma.

Right. Sometimes it's the government, but very often it's both. So, I totally agree that both the government and the people must do their best to solve this issue.

Personally, I do feel it is theft, I never consented to any taxation. I feel that this video helps explain the video quite well https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGMQZEIXBMs

I agree. The video explains it all. I wish they could run it on the National TV at prime time. Just for a change Wink

Re: Can you stop calling Bitcoin an investment?
by
ChocolateMuscles
on 27/07/2018, 11:11:40 UTC
The limited supply and the distribution process leads to the analogy of gold. It's not hard to also see the similarity of something that was once a universally used as currency also being considered an asset and therefore an investment. While I don't disagree with what you say I think it is inevitable and unavoidable that many people will view Bitcoin as digital gold and an investment.

I believe you're 100% right. Everything people hear and read about it leads them to believe in Bitcoin as an investment and I'm afraid there's nothing that could be done about it. As you've said, it is "inevitable and unavoidable."

Re: Will Bitcoin become centralized sometime in the future?
by
ChocolateMuscles
on 26/07/2018, 08:55:07 UTC
Well, it looks like it is 'centralized' in a certain way.
The word 'centralized' literally means "drawn toward a center or brought under the control of a central authority." And the key word here is "under the control."
When I think about it I think about the "whales" who, in fact "control" crypto in some respect, don't they?

Re: Do you keep your coins physically secure?
by
ChocolateMuscles
on 26/07/2018, 08:45:29 UTC
After what I've read and what happened to a friend of mine, I decided to and I spent some money for a cold storage. Call it a paranoia, if you like, but when it comes to money (whether physical or virtual) I prefer to keep it safe. I don't have time to start all over again making money from scratch. Just can't afford it. Cold wallet. Period.  Cool
