So not really sure where to put this.

Is the site beyond slow for everyone or just me?  It usually takes about 15-30 seconds to load a page from any clicked position.  My connection to the internet is good, about 80mb/s.  I am using safari on mac os.  I also have a PC i use with the exact same results.  Any thoughts would be helpful!

Hello Bitcoin users! So i've decided to pull the trigger and set myself a coinbase account to start investing in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency. I'm excited explore this new finance endeavor and by doing so I would like to get some initial knowledge. Everyone is welcome to chime in on this but what are you guys' opinion for someone like me starting out would be an ideal amount of investment.

I know for the most part majority will probably advise to start on what I'm comfortable with however I'm mainly looking for an ideal quantifiable range based on how much is Bitcoin is going for or other cryptocurreny for that matter. I am using localbitcoins for the first time , deposited some btc , created an ad for western union payments and left it open.
Few minutes later when I came , I noticed that 0,5 btc were deducted from my account, a random guy has left a message giving me his email and marked payment as complete, I started the dispute and did not release the bitcoins but they were already deducted.

I quickly wrote a message to support explaining the situation ,
can someone tell me if this is an usual thing there and what are the chances of getting scammed like this? I am worried and already started to regret using locabitcoins ...
