I wish can work more on my rig but not enough hours in the night Wink

I see you got some Vornado fans on those 6990s, how big of a difference do they make versus a cheap Honeywell desktop fan?  I know those suckers are strong but not as strong as those Lasko/Stanley mini carpet blower fans....It's all about efficiency at this point though  Wink
6970 I wish was 6990's Cheesy
almost 10 degrees less, it's not really cooling down the card directly but moving away the heat form the areas! Make a big difference

I am going to move things around and I am in the process to change all the cards with 5830, hash/watt/$ are the best

I got inspired from some rig on the wall I am thinking to place the PSU there Cheesy

Hi,
anyone have these transactions below appear in their Siacoin wallet?

Today at 19:45   -0.088 SC   338e073c79ccd371e21fc7b6ec1fb545124502994192edf6ebf05f6a85018151    Confirmed

As you can see they are negative values. I had 3 of these negative value transactions, one little over 2 weeks ago and 2 today.

Any idea what they are as I've got no clue.

better you ask on Discord Siacoin official account

Thank for your Illumination BIG PAPPA maybe you didn't read the title ! Looking for help not smart talk! If you have a referral of some one with Balls please PM other ways no bother to read and move along! Thx

btw this engagement start from Alibaba and was seemed all legit until the moment I give the money and all disappeared suddenly... account of Alibaba, website with info of products etc! The guys still message me via email tryiing to ask for more money.. so there is a way to get it ... I just need someone whit the right skills to work with me!

next please

thank you

Yes I did read the thread's title BIG MAMMA and perhaps you would like to work on your arrogance and impudence, given you were after all not so smart as to engage the services of a trusted escrow to protect you from being scammed out of $2050. You lost that money and you now cry here for help and you have the audacity to address forum members arrogantly.

You want someone to work with you to recover something you lost out of sheer negligence? It pays to use the right approach and attitude.

Sorry you lost that money and I understand you are extremely angry about what happened but had you used escrow you wouldn't be here telling people to move along. If you are asking someone to help you scam the scammer or convince him to return your coins, then you should start by being nice to people. Alternatively, if you love being rude after losing all that money, then good luck is all I can wish you.

Well as much you lecture me and patronize me you don't know to do much more! Nobody crying I am ASKING and OFFERING a PAYING JOB! If you don't care and waste my time to answer your lecturing leave me alone and stop to be another smart ass to tell me the obvious and play redundant talk where there is no help or I may have to say you just TROLL me to tell me what I suppose to do!

I ask for Help not for opinion READ AGAIN THE TITLE! And yes I am piss not for the unfortunate event where you don't know shit about detail but guessing,  but I am getting piss to deal with someone like you repeat over and over the same BS!

BTW I was dealing with this forum way before you did know what BTC it is and it's not my skill be in to software coding and networking! And Yeah I am steaming off if some one it's a dumb ass like you!

I am done to deal with jerk off amateurs!

If you're getting it to game with primarily, it could earn a few dollars on the side.

However, from the research I've done the ROI isn't really there for a 1050, from a pure mining perspective.

actually considering power consumption and GPU price market if you can assemble a rig make it sense for long term

He was asking 700 for both cards I believe, so 350 each.  That's not terrible in todays GPU market.

Really You want me to sell it on Ebay?!

1060 6gb, Brand New, Buy It Now for less than 500 USD

https://www.ebay.com/itm/MSI-GeForce-GTX-1060-6GB-6GT-OCV1-RTL/263496979909

Try better prices and maybe someone will be interested...

Exactly!

Re: Bitmain Antminer V9-4T Released for sales - MOQ - 5
by
Christian Pezza
on 08/02/2018, 14:28:51 UTC
Good for Bitcoin Cash!

Mainly you have to buy 5 unit as $350 each x5= 1750 + 5 psu 515 shipment UPS quick and safer 150 (ish) tot $2725 maybe + customs
mining return as today is approx $450/month + power

I mean if you mine to stuck up BCH and wait going to appreciate in future it's okay investment but still 1000W each unit mean 5000W ... not sure if you really like to get this deal for short term investment!

My guess right now Bitmain it's just guessing what to sell and for sure they got more freedom to build up because got kicked out the mainland to do production and maybe found a better place to build up their units!

It's just raising cash and give the illusion to chinese home they can resell units in alibaba for crazy profit as they been doing last year when where was shortage of units!

Another thing to keep in mind its starting to become more competition for Bitman not maybe not strong yet, but some people start to do the mat and selling 1000 units x $2000 = $2,000,000 it's good money and easy money especially from a country where have no problem to: build up hardware for few $,  cheap labor and $0.02/kwh in average!

What I am saying they are afraid to lose leadership and Obelisk it's a first call other way no sense to sell first batch of A3 for more then $2000 and all the sudden for $950 after Obelisk sold two batches of Sia Asic for $1500 for more than 3000 units (off course not ready yet but still) good waking up call!
quick mafs
They ain't gonna loose leadership and if they will in nearest future, they will still have tons of customers with them.
Not sure who and why someone will buy rebranded S7, but I know that people will, with free electricity and lots of cash it makes sense

Agreed!
Bitmain

Pro: not scam, do deliver, relatively cheap first batch new models, simple set up, low maintenance
Con: high db, toxic air emission, high watt power consumption, expensive after second gen, not always reliable (dissipation units detach from chips eventually), low quality hardware, poor customer service, poor design airflow

You are being kind.  After many purchases, I received a A3 (first batch) with a DOA hashboard.   Repair remains in "uncollected" status.
Just receive responses on how to create a repair ticket.
Yes, it was labelled with the correct tracking #, no the tracking # did not change, yes two copies of the RMA form were printed and attached.
Yes, I have proof of delivery from the courier.

With the shutdown approaching, really no chance of having this fixed before the next batch arrive, hopefully I will be proven wrong.

At the moment I feel Bitmain really do not give a toss about their customers.  They are so petty, they should be embarrassed when it comes to warranty support

Sorry to hear that !

Did u try to run under 220v before ship to repair?
Did u ship it in oversea or LA?

See their email of Jan 23rd
