Re: Ripple CEO: As many as 99% of all cryptocurrencies will likely go to zero,

In as much as I dont entirely agreed with him, I think he still has a point there. Majority of the coins  are just surviving on hypes and hiding behind the pumps of Bitcoin. They virtually have nothing to offer the crypto space.

Re: How to choose a good project to invest.

The best thing to do in order to be safe is just to invest in these new projects with an amount that you can afford to lose. Some projects appear legit and promising but won't perform well when they get to the market.

Majority of the altcoins are far below their All time high even when BTC experienced a minor bull and rose up to $12k. Maybe the altcoin season is on its way so this is the best time to accumulate more of the promising ones.

Re: Top Cryptocurrencies to Invest in 2020

I would go for XRP and BNB because Ripple has had so many big partnerships this year which is not reflecting in its price right now. Apparently we are going to witness this price increase in the following year.

Re: Good projects/hard to reach softcap

Bitwings bounty campaign wasn't organized so well and I think that's one of the reasons they are finding it difficult to raise their softcap. So many rules which drove away many hunters so their project couldn't get enough audience

It could also be that they are still investing in crypto but through different avenues. Maybe they are now investing in coins that are already trading on the market since most ICOs are now turning to be scam

The crypto market is full of manipulations. The rich always try to manipulate the system and take advantage of susceptible individuals to steal from them. That is why you should never invest in a project with huge funds

Re: The Need to Reconsider Holding altcoins
by
Christinebeauty
on 16/11/2019, 22:58:47 UTC
All the big coins on the market started from low prices and has risen up to this far. They've all passed through difficult moments before finally reaching this far. If investors who were holding them at the beginning, decided to dump them so early like what we've been doing of late, I don't think those coins would have come this far. Let's try and support the promising coins we are holding right now for it to grow in the near future.

The price of the coin doesn't really matters to me. The most important thing to consider is the coins ability to rise to higher percentages. Some of those cheap coins have no future. If you invest in them, its likely you would lose your funds  one day

Re: Extra weeks added to bounty campaign
by

The income earned from bounty depends mainly on the teams competence to move the project ahead. The duration doesn't actually matter. What really matters is the coin getting listed for you to be able to trade.

As Ripple CEO rightly said, most of these altcoins are useless. This makes it difficult for them to survive in this period when coins are not mainly traded on speculations but rather, its real use. At first, even the announcement of a good news alone could pump the market so even shit coins could also rise.

Yes planning is very important in trading, you need to plan very well before you throw your funds into it. You must plan on when to enter the market and also your exist plan. You need to also be patient so that you dont always jump into panic selling

Its a good idea though. But it would have been better if you divide the total funds in a ratio of say 8:2 so that you can save about 80% in stable coins while keeping de remaining 20% in a volatile coin, probably BTC so that your funds can appreciate small by the time you are withdrawing your funds

There have been so many bullish news surrounding during the year. Although they ve had only small impact on the market for now, I still they are good signs that can lead to a massive pump in the space any moment from now and that is motive me and make me not do panic selling when the market starts shaking small

You are neither right nor wrong. That is your opinion and you are entitled to it. Howeve, I disagree with you. Because unless otherwise the bounty was paid in a trading coin like ETH or BTC, its actual equivalence stated in USD may not be true. They might promise you millions of dollars only for to finish the bounty and realize your tokens are worth just some few dollars.

No special skill is needed for anyone to become rich in crypto space. Just keep investing into few highly reputed coins and keep them for years to find yourself as millionaire in 5 to 10 years. To save/keep all your cryptos intact, you must have another income stream for living. For example, participate in signature campaign and save all your rewards, that's all. Your earning may be from $30 to $60 per week but after 4/5 years it may look like $3000 to $6000 per week. Yes, 100x growth is likely to happen within next 5 years.
I have really learnt a lot from your advice. You nailed it by advising us to have extra stream of income aside crypto. I've been doing that and it is really helping me. I'm not tempted to do panic selling because I've no intentions of selling any time soon since I've extra sources of income

But the ETH and BTC you are holding right now are also  forms of investment. In fact, I would advise you keep those two coins peacefully and wait for them to grow instead of investing in some pump and dump coins
