Re: How do you guys tackle information overload?

The best way to avoid information overload is to restrict your search to few projects at a time. Reviewing too many projects simultaneously could be discouraging. Taking a project and finding out all about it, would be more productive and fulfilling.

Re: Why do some people stop their crypto project?
by

The major reason why people relinquish their involvement in a project is financial constraints. The team may have the desire to complete the project, but when they are financially handicapped, they'll need to suspend the process until the needed finance is raised to continue.

Re: I'm scared of ethereum gas fee

This issue of gas fee is getting really scary. But I don't think it would ever get to $2,000. We may have the issue resolved sooner, if an update is made to the ethereum chain or the ethereum 2.0 project is launched. I've personally learnt how to reduce my ethereum transactions and employ other cryptocurrencies like tron to Carry out some transactions.

In my opinion, bounty is a game of luck. No doubt, its great to do your due diligence and get all the conviction you need about the project before deciding on which to work with. Some bounties tend to disappoint the hunters after trusting so much. I participated in Payaccept bounty and towards the end became catastrophic. I only hope bounty hunters would get their reward.

Re: New coin for coronavirus

I don't understand why a coin was introduced for the pandemic. The corona virus is barely still popular in many countries and the coin has no usefulness. In fact, I feel it was created for amusement and since anyone can create a smart contract with little gas fee, someone just created the token to amuse the community.

Re: Crypto after COVID-19

Covid 19 left the world with shock and fear, but I'm glad that it's past and I didn't loose anyone to the pandemic. On cryptocurrency community, I don't really think the impact on the price of cryptocurrency was noticeable, the market has always been volatile and we can't trace the volatility of the market to the virus.

Defi projects have ripped off several persons in the past and I personally won't advise anyone who isn't grounded in how it works to invest in Defi. Defi yield farming is lucrative, but it's hard work to keep yourself progressing coupled with the fact that the opportunity is risky and you need huge capital to make substantial returns.

In this space, one has to be smart Inorder to get the best out of the market. There are some persons who held bitcoin when it was trading at $20,000, and still held it while it dumped to less than $3,000. I personally don't see that as wisdom. Its best to cash out when the market is ripe, waiting for excess profit could be term greed.

I won't advise anyone to join in the staking business, due to the prevalence of scam and the fact that to make substantial returns from staking, you need to invest a substantial amount of money. The easiest way to be from Defi hype with lesser risk is to secure Defi tokens and trade, selling at a higher price feels better.

Re: what's your favourite coin and token ?

As far as I'm concerned, the best coin to hold is bitcoin. With the volatility of the market, bitcoin has still maintained her value to be over $10,000. There's no doubt that the value would still increase as we get nearer to the end of the year. Ethereum also has the potential for a substantial flight which could happen anytime from now. In all my getting, ethereum and Bitcoin is my best bet.

Re: Does bounty still kind of worth on 2020?
by

on 15/09/2020, 16:39:38 UTC
The earnings that could be raised from bounties have dwindled over the years and participating in bounties is no longer longer lucrative. We rarely see projects willing to pay in btc, eth or USDT, most projects can only pay with their tokens and we can't be certain of how a new project would perform after listing. We join bounties because there's no better options and hope that the project is successful.

Re: Ethereum Classic was hit with another 51% attack

Ethereum classic has always been embattled and I really don't know why the project has this level of attackers. I feel its basically because there's a foundational issue with the source codes whose porosity have given the attackers access to carry out their nebulous enterprise.

Re: Ethereum Fees Rise 70% to Continue Record-breaking Streak

The best way to deal with the issue of increasing gas fee is to use other cryptocurrencies for the transaction and swap after it hits the exchange. I learnt that its cheaper using dogecoin for transactions than ethereum. Depending on the exchange in question, you can look closely at the withdrawal fees to know the coins that would be more economical for your transfer.

Re: Another DeFi exit scam
by

on 14/09/2020, 12:26:55 UTC
The issue of Defi exit scam doesn't seem to freak Defi investors. There's a philosophy of higher risk, higher reward. The investors are aware of the reward and are willing to take the risk Inorder to get the best reward. I agree that definitely exit scam is as popular as it was during the ICO's where we always heard of ICO's scam, but more people were still investing in ICO's.

The Defi hype has lasted more than I expected. It seems like more people are getting into the space simply because they are interested in getting their lot from the Defi hype. Despite the fact that gas prices are on the increase, people are still willing to invest in the Defi farms. I believe the interest most be so much to cover the gas fee and give investors huge profits.

It's nice to know that SEC is actively going after ICO Scammers and ripper. I feel bad for T. I because its possible he's not aware of the developers intension to misappropriate the funds raised from ICO. It would be best, if the Scammer is brought to face the wrought of the law to serve as a deterrent to other scam projects.

Re: Is it the best time to buy Kick?
by

on 11/09/2020, 10:30:16 UTC
Somedays ago, Kick price reached above 40 satoshi but now its price has decreased at 20. That means, Kick price has backed to its half. Do you think, this is the best time to invest on Kick or wait for again price fall? Your well thinking suggestion is highly appreciated.

If kick value decrease by 50%, then I can say its a good time to buy, since the coin has the potential to increase above 40 Satoshi in no distant time. I'm actually not following the price of kick, but if you check the value of kick for the past 6 months, then you'll have an idea of what is the best value to buy.

My favourite coin as it stands is bitcoin. I sincerely regret not holding substantial amount of Bitcoin when the value was much lesser. I wish I had done something differently as regards bag holding the coin, but it's really not my fault since I was yet to be introduced to the cryptocurrency industry. I also find ethereum a great coin worth holding.

Re: Ripple the next bitcoin?

I personally don't see Ripple having what it takes to be a worthy competitor of Bitcoin. Ripple is light years behind the popularity and relevance of Bitcoin in the cryptocurrency market. The total supply of Ripple makes it more like dogecoin anf that explains why the value has always been in penny's.

Re: New coin for coronavirus

Recently, I found an interesting article about coronovirus coin, https://cryptogeek.info/en/blog/coronacoin-price-is-human-lives, what do you think? Is it a joke or a really hype thing?

The corona virus coin is obviously a joke and feels like what could be used at best as a pump and dump token. I don't remember the coin listing on any sensible exchange and that's because the developers are only concerned about making a joke out of the corona virus pandemic. I really don't blame them because the decentralised system of the space gives everyone the same privilege to create any token, irrespective of how it sounds.
