Why do some people refuse to accept bitcoin?

https://medium.com/datadriveninvestor/why-your-annoying-friend-wont-stop-ranting-about-bitcoin-9808a132480

The author of this article believes that putting a small amount of currency you have into BTC can help you protect your wealth.

He says, “If enough other people believe BTC is money and use it; it’s money even if it doesn’t follow the old rules our nobel prize winning economists have told you. The old rules are being taught a new lesson by the market.”

What do you think about it? If you or your friends don’t buy any bitcoin, what is the reason?

Don't click an unfamiliar google doc/spreadsheet. OP you can do it better if you have questionnaires or poll, do this;
Post your questions here

It's easier to get more answers by posting your questions and just let the community answer it through replying to this thread. Everyone is becoming aware of the potential spread of malicious software through these unwanted links.

Post your questions here instead of redirecting us to a non-english website! We will be happy to answer your questions but third party links especially non-english, is a big no no!

That is right, I don’t think you will get good response if you want us to click on unknown website. Otherwise create a google or survey monkey form, I will be glad to answer as well.

Hi, this is a Google form survey. Can you share your thoughts with me? Thanks.

Some of South Korea’s biggest cryptocurrency exchanges have passed a government security audit, but the majority could be exposed to attacks, local tech news outlet ZDNet reported on Jan 10.

Bithumb, Coinone and Korbit, in addition to four other major exchanges, satisfied investigators during the audit, which took place between September and December 2018.

Of the tranche of 21 platforms involved, however, the remaining 14 failed to meet the criteria for suitable security procedures.

[2019-01-08] European Central Bank Policy Maker Calls Crypto ‘a Fairy-Tale Story
by

on 08/01/2019, 07:29:00 UTC
A member of the Governing Council of the European Central Bank (ECB) has warned that “the [cryptocurrency] bubble has already started to collapse,” Bloomberg reported Jan. 7.

Speaking at a conference in Riga, Latvia, Ardo Hansson — also the governor of Estonia’s central bank — stated that digital currencies will end up as a “complete load of nonsense.” The official warned that “the bubble has already started to collapse and maybe we should just see how far this collapse goes, and what is left when we’ve reached a new kind of equilibrium.” Hansson added:

“I think we will come back a few years from now and say how could we ever have gotten into this situation where we believed this kind of a fairy-tale story.”

I strongly believe in blockchain and Bitcoin. It is the time that good money drives out bad. We have to wait for the market to recover. Glad to see a small rally above $3.5K of BTC price today. Smiley
