its a scam. i have never heard of a customer who received hardware from them. they also have a 48TH/s bitcoin miner for 4k USD..sure sure.... they just have nice pictures but no product
^^This.
Has anyone ever heard of this company before? Or better yet, does anyone know anyone who successfully ordered and received anything from them?
I found one related post from March, but most people seem to say this company is, "Toxic".
Can somebody explain to me why there are so many mentions of "plugging into usb"? From what I can see it's a PCI-E card, just like a GPU?
Also this would mean you could stick those into a normal motherboard, so why the need for a special fpga board?
From what I read a few pages back, it uses the PCI-E riser card to help with power (just like a regular GPU). The USB connections connect to USB ports though. Either on the PC/MB or on a USB riser card/hub.
Yes, you connect these FPGA cards to a 'normal motherboard'. The FPGA board replaces your GPU(s).

I'm a long time lurker here, and a fan of your YouTube channel. I think it's great that you spend a lot of your time helping others. Your new garage project looks great. Can't wait to see the final outcome.
