Re: Lets take a stand against KYC

I am also in favor of KYC.  For the good of the community, it is important to have and follow established rules of money.  If you consider the reasons for having KYC if think you can understand.  It adds legitimacy to the space and will quickly curb the number of criminals that want to participate.  If you don't like it, you do not have to participate in bounty, no one will force you.  Lets keep crypto safe... and criminals can continue using USD.

Re: What Company/Business are you currently missing?

I would like to see a decentralized exchange that offers a wide array of cryptocurrencies and acts as a direct on/off ramp to fiat.  It can get expensive to buy and sell BTC everytime I want to make a trade into an alt coin and then again to go from the alt coin back to fiat.

Coinbase offers very few options for this and they charge high fees.  maybe a decentralized exchange would have low or zero fees for this.

If something like this exists or there is an upcoming ICO for this please PM me.

Nobody said it wasn't going to be a rocky road.  We already knew there would be ups and downs.  Buy the dips when you can and keep holding and you can't go wrong.

Re: can bitcoin govern the whole world?
by

Are you kidding?  Bitcoin can't even govern itself... or at least the developers/miners/whoever can't.  Nobody seems to agree on anything.  As an example, the scaling debate has turned into a complete sh-+show.  Coins like OMG are coming along and trying to solve the scaling issue long before it becomes a problem.  If Bitcoin can't scale, or does so at such a slow rate how could it govern the world?  No way.

Re: Bitcoin vs. Bitcoin cash
by

I would start with bitcoin for several reasons.

1) Bitcoin has established it's place in the market (digital gold)

2) Bitcoin is the most commonly used trading pair to purchase other crypto assets (if you decide to trade)

3) The first crypto ETF will be Bitcoin NOT Bcash - when this happens I would think BTC will skyrocket.

Bcash has not established it's place in the market yet.  Maybe it wants to be the "usable currency" but that title is still up for grabs with litecoin, dash, or who knows.

Disclaimer: I own both BTC and BCH.  So my advise would be to buy both, but if you have to choose for some reason...You should go with Bitcoin.

Re: Free Bitcoins - What is a bitcoin faucet?
by
Ck1234

The only faucet I would recommend it moonbitcoin.  It sends satoshis to coinpot which then sends it to your coinbase account or wallet.  You can link to several other faucets and have them all go to coinpot.  The links are available at coinpot.  I'm not going to give them because I gave it up... The other posters here are correct... Its a waste of time.  But moonbitcoin is definitely the best, so start there and use all the faucets that coinpot allows you to... if you want it to consume your life for literally pennies.

Wow! what a novel idea.  This is exactly what the world needs - A fork of the Bitcoin code!

That's crazy that nobody has thought of this sooner.

I hope no one takes your idea.

Wait, wait, wait.  How the heck are migrants going to hear about this project?  And who is going to accept this as payment?  Are you guys paid to post all these comments on here?  This thread is out of control considering the underlying concept.  Whoa!

ICO is about over, how much has been raised so far?

You may consider blocking US investors since this would be a security.  And the SEC seems to be frowning on obvious securities. Your biggest problem will be with the liquidity of your token.  If you are only raising 1.2 Million.  You may find it hard to find buyers and sellers if you list in multiple exchanges.  This will also be a drawback for any potential large investors, especially if they have the ability to buyout the entire raise.  So with limited/no large investors, you will need to think about spending 100k-200k at least to advertise to the smaller investors.

Here is a golden nugget for you.

Bounty programs here are pretty much worthless.  They will get you twitter and FB followers and limited exposure at best.  The people with big money are not searching here for ICO's they are being approached daily with multiple ICO options.  If you need help with an ICO you really need a reputable advisor, period.  And be prepared to pay-up.

Good Luck.

I think bitcoin is really worth it to invest.  Invwsting in their company is a wise choice to have a secured and assured future that you money will become plenty in future and save for future uses.
Bitcoin helps every customer or investors to sustain their needs and no need to worry about because they are the best company that perfectly match to your standards as investor.

Good stuff... Very insightful.  Hey I've got a lot of questions about Bitcoin I was hoping you help clarify for me.

Thanks for spreading your wealth of knowledge.   Roll Eyes

The best strategy is still to dollar cost average in.  And don't forget to diversify.  Long term, Bitcoin is still going to be a good buy, at least a better place to hold your wealth than say the fiat money.  Don't be scared by these short term price fluctuations... it's all noise.  Crypto is still a great place to be, just put in little by little and 16 months from now you won't be sitting on the sidelines wondering if you should buy-in.

According to your whitepaper the tokens will be tethered to local fiat and you will be taking a $.50 exchange rate fee.  This does not sound like a token that is right for me.  Sorry, good luck to you though.

Re: Is there any further Bitcoin fork?
by

Hi,

I read some articles on Bitcoin Super and Bitcoin Ultimate. Is there further any fork of Bitcoin coming soon?
When will we get Bitcoin super?

You must mean United Bitcoin, not ultimate... I get it, it's not easy to keep them all straight.

Here are some and their price on coin market cap as of this writing.

Bitcoin Gold $335
Bitcoin Cash $2248
Super Bitcoin $258 (futures)
United Bitcoin $419
BitcoinX $.07 (futures)
Bitcoin Diamond $45
Bitcoin Unlimited $229
Bitcoin Platinum Dec. 12 ?
Bitcoin Cash Plus Jan 2 2018
Bitcoin Silver       ?
Bitcoin Uranium      ?
Bitcoin God Dec. 25 2017
Bitcoin Atom        ?

Total Value of forks = $3534 . not too shabby.

Yeah, it's called day trading.  I think you're going to get eaten alive, bro.  You may be better off just buy and holding.  There are some real experts that can make money day trading, and by the looks of your question I would highly recommend you avoid it.

Do some research.  There is plenty of information on YouTube tutorials about how to make money day trading cryptos.  Try following Chris Dunn he is a smart dude.  Check out some of his info here.

Man, just do yourself a favor and don't use money that you can't afford to lose.

I heard Bitcoin God is coming up at some point on Christmas day.  It actually looks like a pretty good combination of features, but seems oddly dogmatic.   It will surely be downplayed by the saturation of upcoming BTC forks.  I kind of hope they all hold some value... we all like free crypto.
