If bitcoin dies, I think the interest of the majority users of cryptocurrency will not fade away. The cryptocurrency is already in the system of internet. They will find a better altcoin that is not like bitcoin that died for whatever a reason.

Re: What is the easiest way to help grow Bitcoin?
by

For a common user of bitcoin like me the social media is a simple way to promote growth of bitcoin, but the better way is when there are social gatherings like this coming Christmas party and new year countdown celebration with friends, family and new person that I will about to meet. A personal presence is a more effective way for sharing my knowledge about bitcoin.

Re: 11k plus is the price of Bitcoin Now. my fear is.....

It is normal for the price of bitcoin to go down after a price surge. Get used to it and be prepared when there is a huge dip. If you are a long term investor this is a chance to buy bitcoin. My fear is if this bitcoin price becomes stagnant.

No, not anymore I'm getting used to it. Gradually I learned and experienced the different scenario that made the possible reasons why there is a dip in bitcoin market price. Based on what I experienced this year the possible reasons that made the bitcoin dips are the Aug 1 hardfork, the China ICO and crypto exchange ban and the Bitcoin Cash pump and dump.

Re: Would you consider Bitcoin a Digital Gold? Why Yes or why not?
by

I would consider bitcoin as a digital gold, I think 2017 and 2018 are in an era of digital gold rush. More miners and users are involved in getting bitcoin. I considered bitcoin as a 24 carat gold while altcoins are considered the less carat gold. Just like gold we trade and invest in bitcoin, but I rather hodl it than use it.

If I knew Satoshi Nakamoto not Satosni and if the news about his life is in danger if his identity will be known is true. My life will be in danger too. Someone will speculate that I had something that Mr. Nakamoto had given me or shared with me. I think we will be forever connected to each other and protect each other.

Re: Cryptocurrencies VS dollar. Battle for the future

There is a high possibility that US dollar fiat become crypto currency, just like what Japan is preparing to do. Japan is considering making their own digital currency called J-coin. Much like what will Japan intended to do to their Yen with J-coin to be a parallel currency. So I think the US digital dollar will be a parallel currency to fiat dollar in the near future. If you can't beat them, join them.

In my own opinion, why BCG is worth less than BCH is because BCG were not properly advertised. There were more negative topics that I read rather than positive news about BCG. The marketing group failed to make BCG more popular or the strategy they used was not effective to lure users.

I think bitcoin will be categorized as a topic for a main subject of blockchain if it is taught in college. If bitcoin is taught in financial course it may become major subject and with other alternative coin with different objectives.

The twist and turn of bitcoiner's life. We will still have to witness the drama series of bitcoin forking, the different opinion of scalability problem and the politics in our bitcoin community that we have to endure. I think 2018 is more challenging and more critics of bitcoin will show up.

Major ATM Manufacturer Integrates Bitcoin, Exposure to Millions of Users

....A handful of companies including Coins.ph of the Philippines, the largest Bitcoin brokerage in Asia with nearly 3 million active users, are working to provide services for general consumers and small-scale Bitcoin investors.
In the long-term, the integration of Bitcoin into hundreds of thousands of bank ATMs globally would further increase the mainstream adoption of Bitcoin.

I hope that Coins.ph of the Philippines will not collaborate with any local banks. Since it will make some added transaction fee coming from local banks. I hope Coins.ph has the courage to provide their own bitcoin ATM for their loyal users. It will serve the best interest of peer-to-peer transaction.

Thanks for sharing and finding that bitcoin ATM in Taiwan. It is a piece of good news for a future tourist who have an interest in bitcoin. I hope that bitcoin ATM has an English language selection or translation in its screen. A hesitant user will not use the ATM if they cannot understand what is being shown on the window screen.

Why is it that the ICOs targeted Chinese investor? In my opinion Chinese investors character is very aggressive in nature or a very competitive in terms of dealing with businesses. They don't want to be left behind, they will grab any opportunity or advantage to make them successful and the concept of ICO is the new opportunity.

Re: Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency are considered illegal?

In your country, you can still take advantage of day trading the bitcoin and show the profit to your parents to convince them, but show them after you converted it your local fiat currency. You can show them articles coming from a country that is not critical to bitcoin like Japan. Singapore and other European countries. Anyway, using bitcoin as payment is not a good idea for the reason that the price of bitcoin in the market is moving upward.
