Re: [ANN] DIRA - The only coin with the BrainMining!

We are making some updates:
- New rewarding in BrainMath: every users can solve the last problem, the starting reward is 60 (or 60 + bonus) (errata corrige) and decreases by 15 DIRA every 20 seconds (but the minimum reward is 15 DIRA), with no limit of time. All users who solve the problems gain. (If you agree we use the same system in BrainCypher and all others task to come).
- CPUMining: raised the reward to 15 DIRA * current difficulty.

I see no img on brainmath

So there is a quick unreadable flash of text after solving. I took a screenshot and it says:

You were first. Please wait 1 turn.

So does that mean I will not get the reward for this? Because when I solve the next one it says the same thing again. What if I do 6 in a row. Do I get 1 reward, 3 or 6?

You have only to skip one turn after you solved a problem. After someone solves the next problem you can solve it again. It's not a definitive solution (there will always be someone who thinks to be smarter than others).

But I only get the message for a fraction of a second. There is still a new brainmath coming up every time. Even if I do 5 in a row. Is it supposed to be that way? I think optimally it will keep the current one active until someone else solves it?

Are we getting 1 block per hour now?

I feel like I am missing payments again from yesterday or at least from 6 hours ago.

Are they in queue or is something wrong?

Edit: I think Braincypher payments arrive but Brainmath not. Can anyone check?

I have 140k trying to forge a block since a day or two. Didn't happen yet. Guess you need at least 500k?

wow! just kept an eye on the braincypher page (without doing anything) ... and literally watched (for at least two minutes), as the majority of these were solved in less than 5 seconds .. that isn't possible by human! horseshit! it's the same amount of time it takes me to calculate just the position ... let alone typing the first word. something isn't kosher there. and, this happens with the majority ... between 5 and 6 seconds

Just checked back ^^ it's almost impossible at this time. I waited for the image to refresh so i can start a new one .. it changed in about 4 seconds. there is NO WAY any human is that fast. bullshit!

Guys, have you ever heard of "asians"? Cheesy

even so .... that is way to quick Cheesy

Coffeehouse .. are you saying you use a shortcut method

I still type it in. But I made a spreadsheet that finds the correct answers. It is very easy. Anyone can do that. Thats why it needs to be changed.

I dont think everyone should get 75 coins then, but a share of the 75 coins. Maybe bump it up a little, because at the moment more than 75 coins are handed out in a minute. So if you give 300 for a minute shared by participants, that could be okay, I guess?

This is reasonable, we'll try to implement it. Anyway, looking at the timestamp of the last problems solved there is a rate slower than you may think: http://www.diracoin.org/BrainCypher/AllBrainCypher

One address DIR-9YB2-DF42-2ZLJ-852S2 solved all of them............ Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry

Before the server was down, I noticed two addresses got 90% of the rewards for a about 2 hours time.

Thats is my address. I did not do that for two hours. Not even 1 hour I think.
As I said: I made an excel sheet where I type in the seed letter and the other letters and transform them to the solution. It is way to easy to do that at the moment. I am not even a programmer.

can you give a remote node, can not use brainming in the application

You can go here: http://www.diracoin.org/braincypher

for example:
each question will stay 1 minute, even it have been solved, it will still stay 1 minute for the rest people to submit their answers
in this 1 minute, if there are a total 10 people solved the question, these 10 people can share the awarding together

in this way, everyone can participate and get rewards, instead of turning into a smart guy game

If all users can gain the "same" amount of coins we fear the risk to devalue the coin. A bit of competitive it's necessary. What we can do instead, if users agree, it is to implement a timer for every task with a deadline of, for example as you said 60 seconds, and give every users a reward based on the time they needed to solve it, in order to make anyone to gain even a few coins.

better everyone who solve the question share the award, instead of only one get it

That is not a bad idea. Every riddle is like 30 seconds or 1 minute long and everyone who solves it gets a share. I like that.

Why's not distribute the coins via faucets like XRB/Nano in the past? This is impossible to solve if there are too many people at once.

I think this should be competitive. The Brainmining is what makes this really unique. If you just Airdrop all tokens and get rid of Brainmining this coin is nothing special.
I like it especially because of the Brainmining idea and I believe it should the focus of development.

I dont think he means that the cypher is changed every 10 seconds but that the image refreshes.

As I posted before I just made a simple spreadsheet so I can "solve" those in probably 10 seconds or less depending on how fast and accurate I type, but there is one guy who could do it significantly faster than me, probably about  5 to 7 seconds I assume.

You have to find a brain rewarding system that is not too difficult but not easily solvable by machines. Something that cannot be coded by a non-programmer, non-hacker, non-scripter in a google spreadsheet in 30 minutes.
If you do not, then this project will not be taken seriously, because it can be exploited very easily.

Umm .. i am not getting any braincypher coins into my wallet this evening. It worked in the afternoon. It seems that after you fixed the refresh bug it doesnt work anymore.

I tried to send coins to myself and that seems to work, although the block height seems to be stuck at 10507.

Now the all nodes received the leasing and the user have more coins the balance of the main generator was decreased gradually to 50mln. Until the difficulty decreases and the forgers becomes active the block generations will be slower. The payments are all in queue. But it will take more time than usual.

ok cool, I see them coming in now
