Hi Crypto Fam

There aren't many Ravencoin Asset Exchanges currently however hopefully in the future this will occur.

If you would like some PeerHash tokens, please reply with your RVN address and I will send the first 10 people 1 Million PeerHash tokens.

PeerHash asset token can be viewed here:
https://www.assetsexplorer.com/asset/5045455248415348

Hopefully we can get back to development in the near future with some new ideas and the token might be worth something Smiley

PS message me if you don't want to paste your RVN address here

The whole energy thing is promoting FUD

If you're into mining, you want to have lowest costs, highest revenue which means you will gravitate towards cheap/zero renewables or energy that currently can't/isn't being used by anything else. ASICs will also get more energy efficient and over time we'll reach an equilibrium based on mining reward, bitcoin value and operational costs. If people can't present a balanced argument I can't take them seriously. Presenting bitcoin's energy usage without comparing to banking, metals production, other is disingenuous and just pushing a narrative.  When people get censored, have their money stolen or debased, they'll see Bitcoin in a different light.

When Elon accepted Bitcoin and earned his company revenue by selling Bitcoin in the first three months of 2021, we should have doubted his business policy. Elon, like other rich people, only made his profit from Bitcoin with Tesla. and after making a lot of money for himself and encouraging a lot of people to buy bitcoin, he suddenly remembers the environment and energy consumption?
It's all like a joke.

Yeah he should be concerned about his actions, whilst Bitcoin is not regulated as such, TESLA is and it's likely the SEC will be looking at the fact they sold earlier in the year and now his tweet tanked the market. If any worker/related party shorted it, they may be investigated.

I don't know what Elon Musk is going to do with his Doge holdings, but the recent doge price hike depends too much on his words.
A coin manipulated by one person is dangerous for small investors, be careful if you want to invest in Doge.

Agree, when the eventual cycle downturn happens and it falls in price, people who haven't gone through a full cycle are going to get stung.  Hopefully people aren't throwing life savings at this as it will eventually get ugly ... very ugly.

Someone has unfortunately reported PeerHash as unsafe software so browsers are trying to block access to the site.

PeerHash is a GUI that downloads XMRIG for your CPU mining and gets you mining in minutes. You should never mine on a non dedicated PC. Peace and happy mining.

PeerHash 0166 Released

Choose your own mining pool in the Config screen. When you win the hash lottery, other PeerHash nodes mine with your XMR address on your favorite pool.

We've been using MineXMR pool for some time now and it has been reliable with quick withdrawals and very low fees for small withdrawal amounts.

Mine Monero and earn PeerHash tokens at the same time

If you need a distraction, now might be the best time to try proof of work mining on a non-work Windows PC

Thanks for clarifying and I do understand Devs need to eat however few are mining on the official pool at the moment so you won't be receiving any rewards because you won't solve any blocks.  Just a suggestion, drop the Dev fee for lets say 24 hours to encourage miners to return back to the pool and then reinstate the 5% Dev fee after that.

If it's 0% fees shouldn't the block reward be 5000 - why did the last block still show 4750 ?

Great question. We have a 5% development fee on every block coded into our wallet (network wide). 5% or 250 Pigeoncoin goes into our 3 of 7 multisig address managed by 7 community key holders. We are a community run coin and had a community vote to raise development funds by introducing this dev fee at block 420,000 with a guaranteed end at block 1,420,000 (roughly 2 years from when it started). Hope this helped to clarify?

[ANN] PeerHash Asset Reward Token

[ANN] PeerHash Asset Reward Token

PeerHash Token has been created as a reward token for running a PeerHash node mining Monero (XMR).  The PeerHash token has been created as an asset on the RavenCoin blockchain.  You earn tokens by running a PeerHash node and you will receive a prorata number of PeerHash tokens.

Requirements to Earn Tokens

  • You need to run a PeerHash node (ver 0.165 minimum) and mine XMR (https://peerhash.com)
  • You need a RavenCoin public address and enter this in the PeerHash config screen
  • You need an XMR address to mine.  If you use the default Dev XMR address you will receive 5 times the PeerHash tokens as a bonus/reward

Can the PeerHash token be traded/sold ?

  • Yes, once you receive the PeerHash token it can be exchanged using the RavenCoin wallet.  PeerHash token transactions are recorded on the RVN blockchain.
  • The plan is to list PeerHash token on a Ravencoin Asset exchange to allow market driven price/supply/demand determination

How Many PeerHash Tokens Have Been Created ?

There are 21,000,000,000 (21 Billion) tokens created and each token can go down to 8 decimal places. The RVN Admin address is RDMD4ttHgiqHDRTjZUpMsu2xDBgZXcz6Uj and can be tracked on a RVN asset explorer.

How Many Tokens Do PeerHash Devs Have ?

Because the tokens are created in a single batch and not mined we currently control the majority of tokens less a few test transactions to RVN wallets. We have reserved 1,000,000 tokens or 0.0048% in a RVN Dev address(R9pWB3VuR3ARdAfwf8nM9yYY9a82jbyHAL). The remaining tokens will be used for PeerHash node rewards, faucets and other pleanned product development rewards.

If Devs Own Most of the Tokens Can't You Flood the Market or Supress the Token Price ?

We are offering token rewards to encourage uptake of PeerHash and future products.  Our pre-allocation is 1,000,000 tokens and we commit to no further Dev allocations - we understand this requires trust.  We run 1 to 2 PeerHash nodes just to make sure anyone mining is rewarded with additional hash power when other PeerHash users win the hash lottery.  For the first 24 hours from this announcement we will forfeit our node rewards and put them back into the reward pool to be distributed to other PeerHash users.

How Many Token Rewards Will Be Issued by Running a PeerHash node ?

The daily token rewards will be initially set to 100,000 tokens. If all PeerHash nodes used the Dev XMR address to mine, the maximum daily reward would be 500,000 tokens.

How Will I Receive my PeerHash Asset Token Rewards ?

You must ensure you add your RVN address in the PeerHash config screen otherwise you will not earn any tokens.  Tokens will be paid daily for the first week and then move to weekly distribution dependent on the number of PeerHash users.

Can I Buy Any Tokens Now ?

You Can Purchase from Our Dev Pool Address R9pWB3VuR3ARdAfwf8nM9yYY9a82jbyHAL by sending RVN.  1 RVN = 10 PeerHash Asset Tokens. The Tokens will be sent to the Sending RVN address. Earnings will used to support Devs so they can do more crypto development. If the Dev address runs out of tokens you will not receive any PeerHash tokens.  Please check DEV token address balance before sending any RVN. You can use this link:

https://www.assetsexplorer.com/address/R9pWB3VuR3ARdAfwf8nM9yYY9a82jbyHAL

Why Did You Use Ravencoin to Create the Reward Token ?

Ravencoin blockchain and wallet provides the functionality to easily/quickly create an asset and track token movements on a proof of work blockchain so rather than reinvent the wheel we used the RVN infrastructure

We've been using PeerHash with MineXMR pool for a while now and happy with recognized mining shares.  Withdrawal minimums are very low which is great for home crypto miners.  If you haven't tried to run a PeerHash node try now by downloading the latest Windows executable here:

https://peerhash.com/gui/peerhash-v0-0164-beta-release/

Installation is very easy:

- Extract to a directory
- Download the XMRIG miner - PeerHash handles that for you with a single click
- Leave PeerHash running

Happy mining Monero (XMR)
