Bitcoin is/was in a bubble. However I think this is natural during a price discovery phase. As Bitcoin matures, it's price will stabilize and we will experience less and less of these bubble cycles (volatility).
I personally dont have much hope in Ripple. It is simply being bought up by newbies because its "cheap" and they will sell it as soon as it loses value and the next "best" coin gets pumped. Its a worthless token with over 38,000,000,000 (38 billion) tokens for sale. Talk about SUPPLY outdoing DEMAND. No reason to hodl ripple, it will continue its decent to hell (sub $1). Mark my words

There's a lot of talk on 2018 being litecoin's best year ever. Many people are hinting at a big announcement coming in the next few weeks/months regarding a partnership with one of the big three (Facebook, Amazon, Google). My guess is if litecoin continues doing what it's doing now (being a low cost and easily use-able cryptocurrency) and it releases a few good announcements then the litecoin network will be worth $150b+ and each coin will be worth $3k. Easily.

Everybody is positive about 2018 me not I dont know why but I dont have good feelings about 2018. Its maybe because we had an amazing year or maybe another bear market until 3. block halving. We will see.
Lets hope your wrong but i know what you mean. 2017 was such a crazy year, i think 2018 will be more relaxed and more focused on REAL cryptocurrencies. A lot of the pump and dump coins will fail miserably due to more regulations and overall community condemnation.

this year price went up from $4 to $300+ and that is 7400% rise.
the same rise from current price would mean reaching $22500 which is not going to happen by the way.
those lots of talk either have forgotten this year or don't know "best year ever" means

none of these big names have ever showed any interest in adoption of any "decentralized" cryptocurrency. they are even working on releasing their own centralized version of bitcoin based on the technology alone.i don't see why they should change their stance suddenly and do it for litecoin when they have not even yet adopted bitcoin!

$3000 may happen for LTC, it is a good coin and it is not such a far away target. specially with bitcoin price rise, LTC has always followed it up and nothing is stopping bitcoin from rising in 2018.When i say "best year ever" i mean in terms of adoption, growth (tx's), endorsements, partnerships, technological, and marketing. We all know 2017 was a monster year and all coins pumped. It will be near impossible to maintain that level of growth year in, year out. I think 2018 will be the year money flows into the strong coins and litecoin is being prepared (by the powers that be) as one of the strongest p2p, decentralized coins out there in the wild.
PS. My bet is on Facebook announcing some type of partnership with litecoin. They (Facebook) wont possibly support bitcoin due to the Winklevoss twins connection to the bitcoin ecosystem. And what is the next best thing to bitcoin? Yes, litecoin.

Most people now with the rise of bitcoin value, just want to hold bitcoin for as long as they can so that they can maximize their worth. But isn't it a little too greedy to just keep holding bitcoin?
We've all read that story in the school with the moral "Greed is a Curse".

Hodling is basically the same as saving. Now ask yourself is saving a bad thing? Is being financial smart a bad thing? The answer is no. But on the other hand people who are starving themselves and re-mortgaging their houses to become "bitcoin hodlers" are simply mental. There is a fine line between saving your money through hodling bitcoin and basically hodling bitcoin because of pure speculation/fomo which i call "speculative hodling" or "fomo hodling".

Xinxi (Litecoin Foundation director) clearly says the OpenBazaar announcement is a small announcement and the "big announcement of 2018" is yet to come.
Eitherway Im not going to outright pump litecoin here... I'm way to professional for that.

Apparently, the OpenBazzar announcement was a teaser. The real announcement will probably moon litecoin. I just want to know what this announcement will be??
I just want to ask if anyone else has heard the recent rumors about the MASSIVE litecoin announcement in 2018. Apparently Facebook, Google or Amazon will integrate it soon. The litecoin devs and charlie lee are keeping quiet but apparently this big announcement will be made within the next few months (first quarter of 2018).

So first off I have much regret that I sold all my coins earlier when it hit $0.30 but let's not get tied up on that.
So I have bought back in for some quick profit but I'm thinking could this be like what happened with Waves.
What happened there was in the matter of two or three days waves went from $3 all the way up to $10 and then slowly grew from there.
Is there any chance this could happen with Ripple as well? It is showing the same sort of trend it did with waves.

Yes and no.
Whether ripple reaches $10 or not, it is still a centralized, unused coin. It is all pre-mined and in my eyes it's not even a cryptocurrency per-se.
Litecoin, Bitcoin and Monero. These are organic, real crypto's.
