Unless your friends threw a hundred thousands USD at Eth, they probably won't be millionaires.
At first I though Eth surpassing BTC would be a sad day but in reality Eth has no day to day use. Its recent value must be tied to the dozens of ICOs tied to it and all the new gold rush chasing gamblers who throw money at them - chasing Bitcoin's success.
Isn't the "smart contract" aspect of Ether supposed to make it useful? I've read a little about it, but have spent more time lately learning more about bitcoin so I don't know the specifics or if it's mostly puffery.
Yes, smart contracts are great, but how many of them do you or anyone you know use?

Re: ETH price soaring. Are you going to move some BTC into ETH?
ETH is a risky business, there are already some competitors out there with pretty much the same functionality and many more coming. I think at this moment it's overpriced for it's usefulness.
Please elaborate.

Having trouble remembering my passphrase for my armory wallet. I have the seed saved on paper. Will this recover the wallet or do I need to remember this damn passphrase? thanks all.
There's much to be said about the delayed GBTC, Gemini, COIN and Ethereum launches lately. Everyone is waiting for the impending hype cycle. It is coming....but when?!?
The IPO dumping of funds already negatively affected BTC. The effect will be isolated to ETH, in which the IPO investors will be just a tad bitter.
There was a fair amount of XBT selling by the IPO that coincided with the bottom in XBT/USD. This is nothing more than classic "weak hand" selling of XBT.
I plan on being on the Nina, Pinta and the Santa Maria
Don't say I didn't warned you guys but i think that everytime the price of btc is going up, there's a bitcoin exchange that will close and declares that they were hacked so my advice for you guys is to sell your bitcoins now and withdraw them to your own pockets before its too late.
The warning has been given and yourfate is on your own

Depends on how many folks need to write to the Bitcoin block chain and how much it will cost in fees to do so. I think in 20 years, 10 BTC will be a very large holding.
