Hm... i only tested them with the cheapest packages of each type and, of course, i'm far away from getting my "investment" back.

But i never heard of these artificial drops. Are they legal? I mean when the drops doesn't match the difficulty and power cost and so on then this sounds not correct.

I'm only wondering if they are legally liable. Though i did not really lose something, i would not take part. Only asking.

I have nit used GM since 2014. Im sure there is some clause in the service agreement to cover their butts. I'm not saying there is im just saying its likely they have one... shame how this industry is nowadays sometimes.

Phone is in very good condition.  Always lived inside a case. All seals are like new and the phone works perfect. I am upgrading and wont be needing this device any longer. Stock device with custom twrp recovery. I can install the stock recovery or root the device as well your choice. Comes with original charger adapter with aftermarket usb cable two hard cases (one is gold the other is black with an image of an underewater scene) a wireless charger base with adapter that goes underneath the battery door (only used it once. Makes the back door bulge and not seal when inserted but its nice to see it charge wirelessly). The same phone adaptor is used to power the wireless base if you use it. $200 shipped within the USA. PICTURES will be up in a few hours when I get home.

Hi, is this phone locked to Tmobile, or has it been unlocked for at&t etc?

Also, I see the water mark (pink dot, not white anymore) has been triggered. Has there been water damage? also, what Rom is currently running, as I was under the impression these phones have locked boot loaders.

Thanks!
Tmobile locked but good clean esn ready for activation. Stock ROM from factory. You can change a recovery with a locked bootloader. Knox only is activated when you root the device and trigger the security bit. Not to be condescending but thats not the water mark you are looking at. The water mark is the white box in the lower left side not that copper looking dot. This phone does not have any water intrusion. See video here for water mark on a Galaxy S5: https://youtu.be/Gk6FA-HPQGg

Ah, thanks for the info. No worries, but I can't use it unless it works on at&t, so that's a deal breaker. Seems like a good deal though, good luck! Wink

There is a website gsmunlockusa.com that i have used in the past. They work great and the code is guaranteed to work. So it's a viable option imho

Re: Why bitcoin will appreciate forever
by

The current trend of bitcoin is that is is appreciating. The big bubbles and bursts only affect the short term trends.

Surely it will burst soon or later because at one shot prices went up more than 50% so I think there will be a correction soon.

You can't call this latest rise a bubble. Yes, we have gained nearly 50% but this ain't a bubble, especially if we know that Bitcoin was in a two year old bear trend and that the highest price was over $1,100 at the moment.

Now that rise to a $1,100 was a bubble. I would rather call current rise a recovery!
I agree. I see this as an uptrend and not a bubble imho. The $1100 was Mt.Gox who caused this I think (please someone correct me if I am wrong)

What happened was people trusted their private keys to a scumbag imho. Most ponzi operators go through great lengths to hide their activities.  As mentioned earlier mixers and trading for alts and constant new wallets to mixers again could prove daunting to trace.

I would buy pizza for 10K sats :-) be nice to do that right now.  I need to eat.  I spend btc on all kinds of stuff.  I don't believe in hoarding and not spending anything.  You have to contribute to the the economy somehow and making transactions helps spread the coin :-)

Problem is South Florida winters are hot as well. Imaging December and being at the beach in flip flops and shorts.  I need to move to a folder area to mine with a lot of power.

What about all the money daily that is put into btc? Wouldn't this make it appreciate for at least a long run?  It wouldn't make sense if it didn't appreciate, at least to me. Not counting GOX, since inception hasn't btc relatively been appreciating?

Re: Mining rigs rental is that profitable?

An ICO would make it profitable if the coin had a following and a decent price.  I got out of the mining game because Florida is too hot to keep home mining profitable and the power cost is to great for me.

The heat is a challenge for anyone that setup's a decent amount of miners.  I had to do a lot off CFM's of fans to get through the summer.

I'm lucky winter is coming and it's cooling down.  But for initial investment I now can mine during summers from this point on with using fan's and not AC which saves a lot of money.
Whats the ambient temp of your mining room? If I didn't use ac it would get up to 84 degrees inside which I didn't allow my miners to run in.  I mean how hot does a data center get?

It's already in winter air now so it's actually pretty cool.   Mine got hot during summer but I pushed it with lot's of CFM's.   I don't live in a area evaporation cooling would would work with humidity.

This is like 15k CFM pushing air through where miners are:

Then the problem was I needed more exhust so I used a lot nicer gable fan - http://www.homedepot.com/p/QuietCool-Professional-3013-CFM-Power-Gable-Mount-Attic-Fan-AFG-PRO-3-0/206047381

But on temp it was 80F ambient maybe some day's in 90F  at it's hottest.   But with all the CFM's it made it through it no problems.
I would cringe with my miners in a room that hot lol. Guess they can run in hotter areas than I thought

Re: This is how 0.037 Bitcoins looks like in Venezuela

Yeah! It's funny to see how much cash you can get with 0,037 BTC.
If that stack was really $12 and not $120 then holy cow that's a really really bad economy

Did you hear about zimbabwe currency before they change it to euro?

"The highest note to be printed in Zimbabwe was the $100 trillion dollar bill. It was worth as little as US$5 and could only buy two loaves of bread."

100,000,000,000,000 zimbabwe dollar is worth as 5 USD or 0.015BTC
I feel sorry about them.  Undecided

I have not seen this before.  I will need to research it.  That's crazy though! I can't believe this

Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy
by
Coinminer11
on 30/10/2015, 14:28:20 UTC
Being honest if you really want some bitcoins,
Go and buy now because the price is increasing and maybe you will get a profit in future.
If we/you are waiting for 100 dollars i think that for this year is impossible.
I agree with this growing speed bitcoin's price may reach $500 easily. However I feel that this increase is not stable and long-term

People who wants the bitcoin price to fall down are little in numbers.
I think that if the price really falls below 100 dollars then the chances  to get even lower are high.
At the moment we should not think for dumps but for pumps and maybe buy some bitcoins.
Deep down inside we all want cheap btc. I won't lie I dream of $100 btc when I look at my btc loan.  But when I pay it off I would want the price to jump high.  Human nature lol we want it all.  I would say those holding would like the price to jump and those buying want it to come down.  Realistically $100 btc right now would look scary from $300+ avg right now.

...

Venezuela apparently has been selling a big part of its gold stash (which is a pretty large 370 tonnes, or was...):

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2015-10-29/venezuela-sells-billions-gold-repay-its-debt

They will have to sell more before too long, or else they will be unable to borrow.

Note that the New York banksters are perfectly OK with receiving gold as "money"!

gold is more true money than fiat currency.

fiat currency isn't money at all in fact.

Gold isnt money either, because it's hard to divide and it has fungibility problems due to forgery.

Bitcoin is the only money around that is both limited, representative of value, and the biggest / safest one out there.

Fiat currency is just a bank note which is = promises that cant be fulfilled.

All of them (fiat money, gold, dollar, yuan and other currencies) are used for trade stuff.
Flash back, i really salute with satoshi nakamoto who can turn their "digital stuff" into real money. (Satoshi Nakamoto is a group name, not only stand for 1 people)

Will come many altcoin too in future.
And when that happen.. Population of bitcoin users will reduced up to 40%

40% Bitcoin and 60% Altcoin.
I can sorta see what I think he means.  Lets say hypothetically bitcoin was more "centralized" by huge mining corps and banks and it wasnt feasable to home mine alts could likely take a turn for the better and become more popular.  I'm not saying this is what will happen just my thoughts.  The beauty of cryptocurrencies is that anyone can create their own unique or cloned coin and if someone can bring value and utility/fungibility to their own coin it becomes a currency of value to whomever finds value in it.  Bitcoin is awesome but some might have reasons for an alt as their choice of coin. All in all yes a very high percentage of alts are just pump and dump coins,  but within the rubbish there are always little gems.  In my mind I cannot see bitcoin without alts or the other way around.
